OK, I know it's sped up, but I thought the filming would have taken way longer than it looks here. Sneaky well done.

When I first watched it I wondered how hard it would be to get up on the blocks. They look really big when you're standing on them.

I'm impressed they're not covered in graffiti - they would be here... :(

It's not all the material that we filmed... When we went through the 'routine' the first time, we realized that the cam was standig too far away (the hand stand shot was a part of those). All in all I think we had around 15 minutes of material.

Even if they were covered in graffiti, it would only be in the interest of the artist. He wants to visualize time in form of the changes the stones go through, like the face of an old man compared to a baby.

Pssst: Just search for 'Beuys' in the English Wikipedia! He was a German artist imho obsessed with fat. As my super-educated art-loving dad once explained to me, Beuys survived a plain crash and was found - half dead - by tribesmen who nursed him back to life with animal fat. Apparently you have to know that to understand his art. I still don't.
