Ok, ouuuuuuuuuuuch this looks painful!! Why did such thick blood come out?! Do we have thick blood like that running through our blood stream?! And secondly, is it impurities, is that why our prophet (pbuh) encouraged us to do cupping?!
@ChaChing86 basically it gets rid of the impure blood in your system. by getting rid of it, it improves your blood circulatory system and makes it more efficient, and the impure blood is replaced with new clean blood.
the blood is thick because once it leaves the body it reacts with oxygen so it becomes thick

Its called Hijamah in Arabic, the Prophet (SAW) used to have it done and encouraged his Ummah upon it also. It looks worse then it actually is and its not painful. You can have it done for specific ailments or general health.
