this game ruled. There was also a Donald Duck game on Master System which I had too. You had to rescue Huey, Dewey, and Louie. For the life of me, I can't remember the name
@TwilightLink77 Every Mickey Mouse game for 8 bit consoles use the mickey 30's look, at least the sprite(not when he's shown bigger, like in a story screen). Probably beacause 8 bit consoles use smaller sprites and fewer colors, so it's trickier to show an eyeball with a pupil. Check Mickey Mousecapade for the NES(This one has even 30's Mickey in the Title Screen), Mickey 3 by Kemco for Famicom (Japanese NES). For the gameboy: Mickey's Chase(Published by Capcom)and Mickey Magic Wand (Kemco)
@FrameRunnerX I was 12 or so when this was released. The music surpassed anything I'd heard for an 8-bit game, it really pushed the limits of the console. Happy dayz...
Great game. I recently bought world of illusion, havent played it yet though. It's almost 20 years since I played this one, and it still remains the only type of games I really like (the not too hard/cartoonish side-scrollers)
Yeah... used to play this on Game Gear once. Found it was a rather hard game, but I also thought that of Super Mario Land on Game Boy - nowadays I finish that within half an hour, hehe.
Anyone else think sega sneakily (or not so sneakily) tried to "pay homage" to Duck Tales on the NES with this game? Sega used to do shit like that....
Wow, a no hit long play, good job! I finished this game a little while back and thought it was frustrating and annoying. I didn't mind it but thought it was far from one of the console's best games like so many have stated.
KILL THE FUCKING CLOWN!!!

Apparently, the Game Gear version is a Master Gear with this game built into it disguised as a regular Game Gear cartridge.

I keep wondering which Mickey Mouse games before Epic Mickey use the 1920s mickey mouse look as a playable character?
TwilightLink77 1 year ago
@TwilightLink77
Its Mickey Mania. Yoy should be able to get it on a variety of consoles.

One of the best Master system games, a true classic and a good game to have if you are a collector.
