Like one of the comments above, I also think this tempo suits this piece better than Allegro. Your playing is very expressive, very nice. You also play Study 2 Op32 beautifully, at a nice tempo too. Some players played it a bit too fast. I also like Frank Bungarten's version.
The beginning is very haunting, the note on the high E string (7th fret i think), it stays with you long after the sound has stopped, very very thought provoking. I very much enjoyed this piece.
I just discovered your channel, just commenting on this Sor, which I love. It absolutely knocked me down, over and out! Fantastic! Speechless! Your tone, phrasing, a pure delight. And the professional video and sound quality. Thank you so much! More please!
Hey, I did this one, too! Yours is better though. My edition does mention legato's and I like to play it that way. However, the way you played it, it didn't annoy me that there were no legatos.
Lol I used to play all those pieces. So nice to hear them again; I'm going to look them up and play them right away!
Thank you Jolina. I appreciate very much your inspireing comments. The Op.32 is from a edition from 1947 (Carl Dobrauz) and I'm not sure of the original number, may be no.11?
Willem: Me encanta tu interpretación de este precioso estudio.
I love your interpretation of this lovely studio.

I like the tempo you played Opus 60, No. 22, I think it sounds prettier at this tempo than allegro. The waltz is
Opus 32, no. 2 (there are only 6 etudes with Opus 32) Nicely played indeed.

Thank you kindly for your comment! I have corrected the number of the waltz in Op32

Nicely played. How did you get such a nice reverb? Is this the sound you get from your camera mic?

the second piece is actually Op.32, No.2. Andres Segovia plays it on his "Guitar Etudes" album
littlerob12321 3 years ago
You may be right, but Segovia sometimes changed the number of the studies.
Thank you for commenting.
