Guess what moron, we were not in a recession when Rudd handed out taxpayers money, so it can not be claimed that blowing billions of dollars on handouts, prevented any further decline in the economy. The second thing is that money will have to be paid back in taxes. i suppose that wont effect you because it sounds like you have been getting handouts for a long time in the form of dole checks.

The man really is a phony. You can see his inner-temper flare at moments like 5:30. He's been on this comedy show more times than he's been on 'Insiders', the top political show in Australia.

He talks about focusing on the real issues. I haven't seen a prime minister in my life who's focused on the real issues yet. The real issue? Personally I think the real issue is, is the voice of the people being effectively communicated through our local representives, and how can it be communicated more effectively in the future. If anything is important, it's the political process itself! and making sure it's running smoothly. Right now I think it's clear it isn't.

Yes this makes me wonder if compulsory voting is really the best way as not everyone really has a qualified/educated opinion. Whereas people that choose to vote out of choice are more likely to have researched and some idea of whats going on.
