We did the knotts by hand...We separated the hair and then knotted the hair and pulled it to the root...pushing all the knotts down...just kept doing that until it was all knotted up

Geaux Tigas!..I'm about to dread my hair and even though i have family in baton rouge i wont be there anytime soon cuz i live in alabama so i was wondering... what method did you use because your dreads are the best looking ones i've seen right after they've been done so i'd like to do mine the same way..I know you said by hand but what does that actually mean?

@belakeugnirez i'm pretty sure he did the rip and twist method. you keep A LOT more length that way and it looks better right afterwards. but the dreads won't be quite as "plump" vs the back combing method.

She did the twist and rip method....basically twisting and pulling the hair to the root to compress knots

Bucket?....If you want to soak it...I use to make a spray bottle with lemon juice and spray it all in my hair and go sit outside and let the sun do its thing

They look better and neater on the video....but they are locking up pretty well...Kinda at the top...and the rest down is pretty loose...but I dont maintain it at all...Kinda let it do its own thing

I dont know....I grew my hair for a year before I started. ...honestly I would say in my opinion waiting would be best...I know...sucks...but I have seen Caucasians start with really short hair...I dont know how but it can be done....Also keep inmind that it probably wont look so good

Yea...twist a rip....they are coming along pretty well...but it would defiantly would be better if I wasnt training Jiujitsu...they are always messing up...

The ends are not locking...mostly because I cant keep rubberbands on from Jiujitsu.
