  • Long live the Croatian Nation.......

  • the movie 300 should have been about nikola subic zrinski and croats :)

  • i agree.

  • @borismiksic and it's zrnjski with a "NJ"

  • @borismiksic well, he had 3000 men there; at Sisak there were 300 defenders, but it was much later and, unlike him, they got help.

  • @Picard578 Actually he had 2300 defenders and mostly they were Croats. :D

  • @Thief796 actually he had 700 deffenders ..

  • @BahatSaStilom No 600

  • @Thief796 No there were 700 of them ..

  • @BahatSaStilom No,there was 600 of them.Ti bi to trebao znat.

  • @Thief796 ne bilo ih je 700...

  • @BahatSaStilom evo dobro bilo ih je 700.Za ovim potrebe nema

  • Also Croats killed about 9,000 Janissaries,Specially trained Turkish Eliteforces in the Defense of their Home Country.

  • 2 Thousand and 300 Soldiers defendet the fortress for more than 1 month against 90 Thousand Turks.

30,000 Turks died in this Battle.

  • ponos hrvatski !

  • About 70000 turkish soldiers.About 20000 turkish soldiers has died in this battle

  • oh, and zrinski's body was beheaded. A classic muslim ritual. Zrinski a great Croatian hero along with King Svacic.

  • Beheading was done on both sides not just by the Turks...

  • after 3 days of defending the city walls most croats died. Zrinski led a force of 600 soldiers out of the burning walls against 80,000 turks. 24,000 turks died in the final battle. Apparently Suleiman was killed before the last charge of Zrinski. No wonder the japanese highly respect this!!

  • destroyed 48000 Turkish elite troops ; most of their cannos. Some made pass the Turkish lines and lived to tell the tale about defenders of Siget.

  • No,300 Croats destroyed about 25 000 turk troops,not 48 000

  • What happens in the end?

  • the numbers greatly varies here, we where tought in scool that there where 150000 turks, 300 cannons and 2500 croats the whole siege was nearly going into the second month, Aand in the last charge of the croatians where 300 croats left ( if i remember correctly, the losses in the turkish side gone up to the tens of thousand and sulejman died of old age while the siege

u cant see me, my time is now!!!

  • @Imocan115 they go for a final assault
