@RememberTheNameYaDig But when the fulness of the time was come, God sent forth his Son, made of a woman, made under the law, To redeem them that were under the law, that we might receive the adoption of sons. And because ye are sons, God hath sent forth the Spirit of his Son into your hearts, crying, Abba, Father. Wherefore thou art no more a servant, but a son; and if a son, then an heir of God through Christ. (Gal 4:4-7, KJV)
Who are all the believing? Where did they come from? They came from the lost, for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God. So God saves those who without Him would go to hell. Does He save then then against their own free will?
Thank you Mr. McClarty.. I looked this up for myself in the Strong's after watching this a little while ago and saw what you said.. I learned something new that cannot be ignored.. I look forward to watching more videos and I have shared this one with a couple of friends.. Thank you..
@adsloganville - Thanks very much for the good words. Yeh, that microphone is a bit of a conundrum. I love the way it sounds, but it needs to be pretty directly in front of me. I realize it's a distraction, but I haven't quite figured out what to do with it. Nevertheless, I appreciate the feedback and the kind words.
@SalvationByGraceOrg Maybe you could use a lapel mic? I have seen others that have the mic overhead mounted on a mechanical arm. For example James White of Alpha and Omega Ministries has this kind of setup. Take a look at some of his youtube vids.
Loved the video! Though I would like to see it clarifeid that yes, whoever *wants* to come to Christ, can. The question is, why does anyone want to?
John 3:16 doesn't say anything about who will want to or who even has the ability to want to. Yet, as yousay, tradition is read into the verse, and they read something that isn't there.
John 6:37, 44, 45, 65 tells us who will want to, and why!
@Uolive18 I would change one thing to the Holman translation. It should be "His only begottan Son", because those who believe are also called "sons of God", but only Christ was begottan of the Father, meaning he came from God and was virgin born by the seed of the Holy Spirit taking on a human body. The translation "one and only son" is a false teaching...one of many problems I have seen with the Alexandrian text. Other than that, I agree the video. Well done.
@ContextualTruth Halleujah praise God for his unconditional love towards us in Christ!

@RememberTheNameYaDig We are not sons of God until we are saved.
For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, they are the sons of God. (Rom 8:14, KJV)

I really enjoyed your video. You have a wonderful way of presenting. I would move the mic out of the way. It's kind of a distraction.

Hi Jim, I thought I'd share this translation of John 3:16
John 3:16 (Holman Christian Standard Bible)
"For God loved the world in this way: He gave His One and Only Son, so that everyone who believes in Him will not perish but have eternal life."

This is excellent. My only criticism is that you need to move the microphone out of the camera view. 8^)
