when I did this, I also got the helm- we did him like 7 times... Every ring dropped at least 2 times each, the hallowed helm finally dropped at the same time as the pet- I was lucky and nobody else wanted them. The helm dropped last, the other plate-wearer didn't want it because it had no meta slot :P
