I havn't seen it all summer but the old Sandbar Shop on the river has a new owner and he will DELIVER pizza, beer ice, ect out to the sandbar. Just call in. (Don't know the number off the top of my head)
I didn't discover Torch Lake until 1992 but since then have gone there as often as I could. I have always treated this beautiful lake with respect and have never done anything to make her less pristine. You don't have to born and raised near Torch Lake to have a deep love for her and to want her in the best condition.
I've lived here my whole life and this video shows a lot of it but not it all... all the damn fuggies coming up here and trashing our lake.. keep your beer cans and cigarette butts in your boats..

Yes I know the feeling, my boss live on the south end of the lake and every 4th of July all the trash get washed up on his front yard.

What they don't say...they pee in the water, dump their beers, polute the lake, and act like slobs.
When I was a kid, the lake was pristine. Not a mob scene. So much for progress.
