  • I know what you mean, but sometimes it's nice to hear someone who can play big chords on most or even all of the melody notes--like Robert Conti does on occasion...and no,,,it doesn't sound like "chunk chunk chunk".

  • what guitar is this?

  • @andy4297 Gibson ES-137

  • thank you you are awesome!! god bless you!!

  • omg great advice that was TOTALLY how i was starting to play all the things. Hilarious.

  • @phillynn79 Gotcha!

  • Hey man!

I just found out about your videos by accident here, and have spent the last 3 days watching them, reading your website and blog... Great stuff !! Just wanted to congratulate you, love your playing and your lessons!

I really liked how you use counterpoint on this specific chord melody, very unique and not in that traditional "Van Epps/Joe Pass style" (which is also great by the way)

    You got a new subscriber!

All the best, greetings from Brasil!

  • @giopagoda Thank you! I've never "seen" it like that but it's true I use more counterpoint than entire chords to accompany myself.

  • maaaaaaaaaaarc thx for new videooossss u r great teacher

  • wish i could play like that!

  • You certainly can. Patience and dedication will do it.
