I plan to play this on my first concerto ever, not too complicated but still wonderful. do you think people will like to hear this, is it a good choice?
The echos sound good only for a few measures, then it's over kill. You started out beautifully, but then...it became a little redundant. But you have beautiful touch, very soft and pretty. Just the interpretation needs adjusting. But I can tell that you are a very good pianist.
That's because in Bach's times the pianoforte didn't exist, so it was not possible to do those dynamic changes. This is more like a "romantic" interpretation. It's not purist, but it's interesting anyway (and I like this one more than the "original" :-D)
Now Listen Up, pretty little Dragonness: "Nothing matters very much; Few things matter at all." Samuel Beckett, "Waiting for Godot." So, Greetings to You from New York City! xoXOxo's, too
I dont like it played this way, it seems to loose its essence.

@acero69fenix the version by Charles Gounod, yep.

@flamingice007 Gounod insulted Bach by stupidly inserting a redundant bar.

@asre2001 Yes, I agree. But overall, this is very beautifully done.
Thank you.

I really like how the second half of each measure is a bit softer than the first, so it sounds like an echo. Beautifully done.

The Ave Maria by Gounod is in fact the Preludio BWV 846 by Bach. Ciao!
