"I'm Just A Sinner Saved By Grace" The only thing that we can say about ourselves if we are in Christ. We are great sinners and Christ is a great Saviour. Great Song. It's one gospel song that actually touches on the Gospel.
i am a sinner and what GOD ask us is not to be perfect because he knows we will never can..he ask u to try as hard as u can to be one..and his grace will always be there..im happy to be christian...praise the lord
My grandparents used to take me to the southern gospel concerts and I loved seeing all of the greats in gospel music. I was blessed to witness them in person and will never forget feeling the spirit moving among everyone there. I thank my grandparents for being an inspiration to me and teaching me abo0ut god.
I have been so much blessed by this song that I am just a sinner saved by Grace. The song is a reality in my life and I thank God so much for His unmerited love and Grace that saved even me!!!! Thank you for posting it.
Their was a time in my life when, I was doing black magic also known, as satanism, and once I gave my life over to Jesus Christ in 2008,my life has never been the same. And now I rejoice in the love of our lord and savior Jesus Christ. Thank you Jesus for saving me.
This is truly great. It brings a smile to my face everytime see glenn leap then to see foxy stand up. So many heros of the faith in this video that have past on.
The battle continues...a sinner saved by grace must bear fruits...Problems and trials will COME and GO,...sometimes they come and they do not GO...but God will enable the SINNER SAVED BY GRACE to be an over comer,..for His honor and glory...in Jesus name. Amen!
hey hoover... thanks for posting so many good videos... i was wondering if u have the video "the last sunday" by the cathedrals... it was originally recorded in 1973. thanks again
Whoooooa! -- If that won't like your fire the wood is wet! Come on with it- Salvation is all of God, all of grace, all a gift. The sinner is not saved by good works but FOR good works. Plenty of time to work and worship Jesus AFTER getting redeemed
you have to respect and admire those who put their all into what they do. I heard this first with Guy Penrod taking Glen's part and Phelps too so I am more towards that generation of singers. I was not a fan of any mentioned until I heard GVC sing sinner saved by grace. Now I am liking the Cathedrals who are in this video too for a different reason. It is really good to see people let their light shine and God in return lifts them up to shine even brigther.
the eaerth is the proper distance from the sun for life which shows God is merciful to life and is good, therefore a good reason to believe in a good God.Jesus dying in the place of sinners on a cruel cross, and all we have to do is put our faith and trust in Jesus as our God and saviour and turn from our sins, to inherit eternal happiness in paradise, also shows Gods love
For those of you who want to see the whole video that this song is on, it's called Joy in the Camp, and I guarantee you that you will be shouting with joy by the end of the DVD....it's FANTASTIC!!!
Even on our very best day we are still incapable of salvation on our own, if it wasn't for Christ where would we be? We are truly sinners saved by grace.
Sanctification is not an attainment (perfection), rather it is the state into which God, in Grace, calls sinful men & in which they begin their course as Christians. There are times in our walk that we fail to live to God's calling, this way we sinned. But the H.S. convicts us and drive us to repentance & be reconciled. The H.S. also enables us to follow Him. Justified (forgiven from past-present-future sins) & Sanctified (in the process of being like Christ -- in which we sometimes fail)
@finetuning5 im saved. but i still sin. cant help it. i was born a sinner, therefore i sin - just like a zebra has its stripes cuz its a zebra. luckily for me, that's where Jesus's forgiveness comes in. The only difference between me now and me before i was saved is i have accepted God's free gift of eternal life.
@finetuning5 I'm thankful that there is victory over sin. Jesus's sacrifice was in vain if we can't get victory over ourselves..Not here to debate...Everyone feels differently on the issue. I just am thankful that He changed the old heart and put a new one in...I don't do the same things I did when I was a sinner!
@finetuning5 no you are still a sinner. I'm still a sinner. The only time we will stop becoming a sinner is when we all get to heaven. We are saved by God's grace from the condemnation in hell, and instead we are freely given access to heaven. But we have not stopped sinning! have you stopped sinning? If we stopped sinning after we are saved.... there is no point of singing this song and there is no point of having a relationship with Jesus Christ. There would be no point of the Bible either.
don't it make you cry when you hear old JD's bass with George at the end? I agree dunron, I want to sing with them in glory and no rrseniong I am not afraid to die! have to die to get to glory!
That was all George sliding down into the basement on that last note. George had the ability to go just as low as JD but he didn't do it as often.....
Thanks to our Dear GOD who find us worthy to receive His grace that cleans us from our unrighteousness and give us chance after chance to change from our filthy habits inspite of what we are doing.Glory be to Him everlasting. One day i will stand before His Glorious Presence and thank Him for all that He has done for me.Amen
What a great person George was. I had the honor of meeting him on several occasions and he was ALWAYS so approachable. Great singer but I believe a greater man.
George was working with me to grant my daughters Make a wish request. The foundation was taking too long so I contacted George, my 8 yr old daughter loved George and wished to meet him. George worked for weeks to make his littlest fan's dream come true. But she wsas called to be with the lord one week before we were to fly to Ohio and meet George. Now I know he's singing to her in heaven.....Thank you again George...
This is my new theme song in my relationship with The Lord Jesus Christ: I am just a Sinner saved by Grace. I cannot wait to get to heaven and hear George and Glenn sing this song with Roger on the piano. AMEN!
I cannot describe what hearing these two saints singing this song to the Lord does for me each time I hear it Praise the Lord for saints such as these and the others too
This men are the pillars of our faith to our God.,we will have a great reunion to you there in heaven.thank you Lord Jesus Christ for saving us..

I agree with finetuning5- As great as the song is, something is not theologically correct.
" ...and such WERE some of you, but ye are sanctified, justified... in the name of the Lord Jesus..."

2 Peter 3:9 KJVR 9 The Lord is not slack concerning his promise, as some men
count slackness; but is longsuffering to us-ward, not willing
that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance.
Canadian925 3 years ago 3
God does not want anyone to perish. However, it's going to be our
choice. He offers us the chance to repent, that we can then
choose to do so, receiving the saving grace of Christ, or reject
God and choose to pay for our sins ourselves.
But God does not want anyone to perish!
