  • "I'm Just A Sinner Saved By Grace" The only thing that we can say about ourselves if we are in Christ. We are great sinners and Christ is a great Saviour. Great Song. It's one gospel song that actually touches on the Gospel.

  • @imacman9 So your not a sinner?

  • i am a sinner and what GOD ask us is not to be perfect because he knows we will never can..he ask u to try as hard as u can to be one..and his grace will always be there..im happy to be christian...praise the lord

  • My grandparents used to take me to the southern gospel concerts and I loved seeing all of the greats in gospel music. I was blessed to witness them in person and will never forget feeling the spirit moving among everyone there. I thank my grandparents for being an inspiration to me and teaching me abo0ut god.

  • i thought bill and gloria did not write this song. Isn't this a hymn?

  • @ursulaeb no, bill and gloria wrote this song

  • This song was written by Bill and Gloria Gaither especially for George Younce..

  • beautiful Amen

  • WOW

  • This is absolutely moving and beautiful I can't wait to join them in heaven. I too am a sinner save by grace. What a choir there will be!

  • I miss George & Glen. I recommend the Cathedrals Farewell Celebration from 1999. Great music, comedy & commentary.

  • Their was a time in my life when, I was doing black magic also known, as satanism, and once I gave my life over to Jesus Christ in 2008,my life has never been the same. And now I rejoice in the love of our lord and savior Jesus Christ. Thank you Jesus for saving me.

  • This is truly great. It brings a smile to my face everytime see glenn leap then to see foxy stand up. So many heros of the faith in this video that have past on.

  • lord god in heaven send us another glen

  • This brings tears to my eyes just knowing George and Glen are already there singing God's praises and those that know the Lord will be there soon!

  • WOW! Powerful!! Thank God!

  • Col 2:14

    Blotting out the handwriting of ordinances that was against us, which was contrary to us, and took it out of the way, nailing it to his cross;

    KJV

    Through His Blood,

    Jim

  • The best ever bass in world (:

  • lol to the mullet at 1:40

  • The whole Gospel in a song!! Love it!!!

  • I surely do miss George and Glen but they would't trade places with us for ANYTHING!

  • These two wonderful people are now in Heaven singing. What a wonderful song. It really touches me!

  • The battle continues...a sinner saved by grace must bear fruits...Problems and trials will COME and GO,...sometimes they come and they do not GO...but God will enable the SINNER SAVED BY GRACE to be an over comer,..for His honor and glory...in Jesus name. Amen!

  • Amen, Thank-you JESUS

  • hey hoover... thanks for posting so many good videos... i was wondering if u have the video "the last sunday" by the cathedrals... it was originally recorded in 1973. thanks again

  • Whoooooa! -- If that won't like your fire the wood is wet! Come on with it- Salvation is all of God, all of grace, all a gift. The sinner is not saved by good works but FOR good works. Plenty of time to work and worship Jesus AFTER getting redeemed

  • @joyful1001 EIther the wood is wet or petrified. Powerful song, huh?

  • wonderfull grace, we're all sinners

    saved by grace,

bow the knee and surender your life

    to Jesus our Salvation.

  • George is adorable.

  • Thank God for his AMAZING GRACE....we fall and stumble, but He's always there to reach down and pick us up again.........

Where would I be had God not brought me gently to this place???

  • Des anyone have the old song,In the old-time way

  • Thank God for HIS GRACE...forgiven through the blood of JESUS CHRIST

  • Glen got everyone fired up in the end. Amen

  • you have to respect and admire those who put their all into what they do. I heard this first with Guy Penrod taking Glen's part and Phelps too so I am more towards that generation of singers. I was not a fan of any mentioned until I heard GVC sing sinner saved by grace. Now I am liking the Cathedrals who are in this video too for a different reason. It is really good to see people let their light shine and God in return lifts them up to shine even brigther.

  • the eaerth is the proper distance from the sun for life which shows God is merciful to life and is good, therefore a good reason to believe in a good God.Jesus dying in the place of sinners on a cruel cross, and all we have to do is put our faith and trust in Jesus as our God and saviour and turn from our sins, to inherit eternal happiness in paradise, also shows Gods love

  • Glen Payne had such infectious energy. It could be said, i suppose, that Glen Payne could Rock the House. Fine performance here folks.

  • Glenn was my favorite! Actually, he still is even though he's been gone for years.

  • For those of you who want to see the whole video that this song is on, it's called Joy in the Camp, and I guarantee you that you will be shouting with joy by the end of the DVD....it's FANTASTIC!!!

  • Even on our very best day we are still incapable of salvation on our own, if it wasn't for Christ where would we be? We are truly sinners saved by grace.

  • Can I get an amen?

  • Oh I'll amen that a few times over!

  • at 4:12 is the most emotional moment...thank God for The Cathedrals...they are such a blessing for me:)

  • I agree with finetuning5- As great as the song is, something is not theologically correct.

" ...and such WERE some of you, but ye are sanctified, justified... in the name of the Lord Jesus..."

  • Sanctification is not an attainment (perfection), rather it is the state into which God, in Grace, calls sinful men & in which they begin their course as Christians. There are times in our walk that we fail to live to God's calling, this way we sinned. But the H.S. convicts us and drive us to repentance & be reconciled. The H.S. also enables us to follow Him. Justified (forgiven from past-present-future sins) & Sanctified (in the process of being like Christ -- in which we sometimes fail)

  • I love the tone of Glens voice, so unique.

  • you were a sinner but when you get saved you are not a sinner anymore. im not a sinner anymore.

  • we r all sinners because none of us are perfect and we still make mistakes. we are simply sinners saved by grace

  • ok WERE sinners and NOW we are saved BY grace which makes no longer a sinner but a child of the King!!

  • @hoover4000 Amen!

  • @hoover4000 if anyone be in Christ he is a new creation

  • so i presume you're perfect now? and dont sin anymore?

  • Nope. We still sin

  • yes

  • @finetuning5 im saved. but i still sin. cant help it. i was born a sinner, therefore i sin - just like a zebra has its stripes cuz its a zebra. luckily for me, that's where Jesus's forgiveness comes in. The only difference between me now and me before i was saved is i have accepted God's free gift of eternal life.

  • @finetuning5 I'm thankful that there is victory over sin. Jesus's sacrifice was in vain if we can't get victory over ourselves..Not here to debate...Everyone feels differently on the issue. I just am thankful that He changed the old heart and put a new one in...I don't do the same things I did when I was a sinner!

  • @finetuning5 no you are still a sinner. I'm still a sinner. The only time we will stop becoming a sinner is when we all get to heaven. We are saved by God's grace from the condemnation in hell, and instead we are freely given access to heaven. But we have not stopped sinning! have you stopped sinning? If we stopped sinning after we are saved.... there is no point of singing this song and there is no point of having a relationship with Jesus Christ. There would be no point of the Bible either.

  • @finetuning5 Are you posting from heaven?

  • Love this song, thanks for sharing

  • The excitement of Glen Payne in his singing and conviction is contagious...he was the best...

  • Thank you Lord for your grace on my sinful soul. I am truly thankful.

  • don't it make you cry when you hear old JD's bass with George at the end? I agree dunron, I want to sing with them in glory and no rrseniong I am not afraid to die! have to die to get to glory!

  • That was all George sliding down into the basement on that last note. George had the ability to go just as low as JD but he didn't do it as often.....

  • another one of their songs that i just realy love because it tells just a little about our lives and how we are all sinners saved by grace.

  • Amen to that!

  • Thanks to our Dear GOD who find us worthy to receive His grace that cleans us from our unrighteousness and give us chance after chance to change from our filthy habits inspite of what we are doing.Glory be to Him everlasting. One day i will stand before His Glorious Presence and thank Him for all that He has done for me.Amen

  • What a great person George was. I had the honor of meeting him on several occasions and he was ALWAYS so approachable. Great singer but I believe a greater man.

  • George was working with me to grant my daughters Make a wish request. The foundation was taking too long so I contacted George, my 8 yr old daughter loved George and wished to meet him. George worked for weeks to make his littlest fan's dream come true. But she wsas called to be with the lord one week before we were to fly to Ohio and meet George. Now I know he's singing to her in heaven.....Thank you again George...

  • There will never be a singer that could match George or Glen. I really miss that old quartet sound.

  • I agree. Those were two great singers. I guess the next time we get to hear them sing in person will be in heaven.

  • we have this video and also the 'atlanta homecomng.' my father always watch their video. we really love them.

  • I love bass singers, check out JD Sumner also. He and George were grt. friends

  • This is my new theme song in my relationship with The Lord Jesus Christ: I am just a Sinner saved by Grace. I cannot wait to get to heaven and hear George and Glenn sing this song with Roger on the piano. AMEN!

  • Everybody wants to go to heaven but nobody wants to die.

  • i love this song... i miss glenn and george..

  • 2 Peter 3:9 KJVR 9 The Lord is not slack concerning his promise, as some men

count slackness; but is longsuffering to us-ward, not willing

that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance.

  • God does not want anyone to perish. However, it's going to be our

choice. He offers us the chance to repent, that we can then

choose to do so, receiving the saving grace of Christ, or reject

God and choose to pay for our sins ourselves.

But God does not want anyone to perish!

  • I like anything George sang. Wish there were more on there. I'd love all his CDs & DVDs.

  • It was by accident I found this song sung by two of Gods Angels on earth. At the lowest point in my life, this song and Gods grace kept me aiive.....

  • Praise God; I could listen to this one over and over and over again. Awesome stuff...

  • Essa é a adoração que o nosso Senhor quer receber ... uma adoração Racional de coração ... com a alma ..!!!

    GOD BLESS YOU

  • Simplesmente instrumentos usados por Deus....Ninguém nunca cansa de ouvir...

  • One of the best songs ever recorded and best sung by these two awesome guys! I miss them both...

  • fOR BY gRACE WE ARE SAVED NOT BY WORKS. PRAISED GOD

  • Their singing their hearts out now in Glory.

  • If that's Roger Bennett playing the piano, who's that man sitting next to him?

  • Roger Bennett was playing the piano, and Bill Gaither was the man sitting next to him.

  • Haha, me gusta como canta George ... uno de los mejores bajos en la historia ...

  • I cannot describe what hearing these two saints singing this song to the Lord does for me each time I hear it Praise the Lord for saints such as these and the others too

  • i love this song and it blesses me every time i hear it. Yes and they are singing it to Jesus while the angels listen

  • I have heard this many times by others, but they all still can sing it like George and Glen. Just think now they are both together again singing.

  • I deeply miss George Younce and Glen Payne.
