  • WHy does Billy Henderson of the Spinners appear in this photo?

    Anybody know why?

  • as good as anything Motown ever produced KTF

  • o.k the suspicion wos playd at the casino in the late 70s coverd up by richard stearling as the Detroit Prophets.FACT.

  • The Originals were not a Marvin Gaye formed group. They had experienced a couple of incarnations before Marvin Gaye had even come to Detroit. To be fair, he did produce some songs on the Originals, among them their biggest hit "Baby, I'm For Real' and "The Bells".That being said: I LOVE M OTOWN!

  • Hey ...If it gets any better than this will somebody please let me know...in fact don't bother 'cos it doesn't....BRAVO!!!!!!!

  • Wigan casino mint tune Ace nights keep the faith

  • @aidenconnol I think that this was found on an acetate after Wigan, could be wrong though, but can't remember it being played there...but yet again i can't remember too much from those days, stuck in a world somewhere in space....wow!!!!

  • I BELIEVE THE ORIGINALS WERE A MARVIN GAYE FORMED GROUP...HE WOULD TEST SONGS OUT HAVING THEM RECORD THEM

  • Means Keep The Faith, as I have done for over 30+ years mate xx

  • A demo acetate discovered in the early 80s. Was booted and slightly sped-up to appeal to the 'Northern Soul' scene of that era. Widely available in those days and much played.

  • Means Keep The Faith - orghast KTF

  • Awsome Tune KTF x

  • I must account for at least half of the views of this video because I can't get enough of this song.

  • wish there was a legit release of this for me to blast

  • That's an alterate take (not the best vocal nor the best mix). The best one was the one that was booted on a blank label along with other unreleased Motown cuts, in UK in the early '80s.

  • get a life rob :)

  • I have it on an acetate bought in 82 . vocal is sweeter . you are the first person who knows the version. I willl try and post it.

  • Very good!

  • This is a great song by the Originals and this is my first time hearing it. Thank You retep13 for this post.

  • Why wasn't this released? It's a smash. I can't believe Berry would miss this as a sure-hit.

  • Un-released Motown track,fantastic & so is the instrumental...top drawer tune,.ktf.

  • Almost didn't click on this one, lucky I did, this is beyond awesome.PURE BEAT, OMG where do all these people find all this wonderful music and I didn't know about it. THANK YOU THANK YOU!

There's about 4 different groups with this name, but didn't find this song on any of their discography. Must be deep northern hard to find.

  • I dont think it was released - Maybe someone can tell us

  • Never officially released in the 1960's. Discovered on tapes from the Motown studios and brought to the UK by Dave Withers and Rod Shard in the early 1980's. Dave played it exclusively in his short DJ career at Stafford's Top of the World. The pair then produced a handful of acetates from the and sold to a few DJs and collectors.

    Fantastic tune

  • @bucksheespins i was lucky enough to find this on a northern soul tape, an old one time acquaintance gave to me. i am so happy that he did. how did i ever live without it.

  • great tune for a sunny morning, you made my day budd. cheers
