The moon landings were the culmination of a fraught space race between the Americans and the Russians. Both nations threw the kitchen sink at trying to get a man on the moon first. Now if the Americans were hoaxing the whole thing the Russians would have quickly latched on to the fact that none of the audio or video transmissions were actually coming from the moon. I think you mean the Apollo 12 camera, they didn't have time on Apollo 11 to set up a high gain antenna needed to broadcast colour TV from the LM. All colour footage from Apollo 11 came from the camera on board the CSM, and the 16mm Data Acquisition Camera. They set up one on Apollo 12, but the colour TV camera was ruined when it was pointed at the Sun. My mum saw Apollo 11 moon landings in Peru, and she never mentioned anything like what you say, and I have asked.

@omaxpi FYI: 1. An Indian satellite supposedly this year found tracks made by a moon rover near one or more of the claimed Apollo sites. I have seen no photos, but there is a Wiki entry on it containing some text. 2. reflectors left on the moon during Apollo 15 (and perhaps other missions) can be hit today with powerful lasers. There's a facility in Arizona that detects these deflectors; you can visit it. (of course such reflectors need not have been placed on the moon by astronauts).

At the end we are not left with much argument to suppor the moonwalks other than "NASA told us so". Scientifically this is not acceptable. We could eventually come near to a proof if we built giant optical telescopes mounted on satellites to zoom on the lunar surface to a GPS like accuracy to spot the things those missions alledgedly left behind. They should be found in the exact position the astronauts leaving on their capsule left them there...

What evidence you have found has been proven false. Everything the conspiracy theorists say could not be if they went to the moon, has been proven false.
The most compelling proof of man landing on the moon is the laser reflectors left behind by the apollo mission. How would these reflectors be where they are if man did not place them there? Contact the laser observatory, or visit and ask questions. Check out the documentary "Truth - Moonlandings".

The Apollo 11 color camera failed. I saw it fail, live on television. They were forced to use the back-up camera which was in black-and-white. Also, Neil Armstrong blew his lines and said "That's one small step for a man.." that was later edited to, "That's one small step for man, a giant leap for mankind."
I taped it and was surprised it was edited before the next evening news program.

I think you mean the Apollo 12 camera, they didn't have time on Apollo 11 to set up a high gain antenna needed to broadcast colour TV from the LM. All colour footage from Apollo 11 came from the camera on board the CSM, and the 16mm Data Acquisition Camera. They set up one on Apollo 12, but the colour TV camera was ruined when it was pointed at the Sun. My mum saw Apollo 11 moon landings in Peru, and she never mentioned anything like what you say, and I have asked.

No stars in the background? Guess what. The moon's surface is quite bright, especially when you're on it. That brightness makes the stars seem extremely dim by comparison. Too dim for the camera to capture. Can you see stars in the night sky if you're at a brightly lit staduim?

If you haven't already seen them, all of the hoax allegations are debunked by Clavius Base (clavius [dot] org), Redzero Moonhoax (redzero [dot] co [dot] uk [/] moonhoax), and Wikipedia (search for Wikipedia Apollo hoax theories). Sure, conspiracies do happen, but it's impossible for 450,000 people to conceal it for 40 years. There is *no* evidence accepted by qualified scientists to suggest an Apollo hoax, but much proof (unfakable Moon rocks, retroreflectors, etc.). Nothing to see here ;).

I notice this video is supporting the theory of multiple spotlights on the alleged lunar surface. Makes enough sense. I mean you can't illuminate an entire set (even one as small as shown here and in the actual Apollo 11 broadcast) with a single spotlight. If the americans went to the moon in 69´s, why they don´t visit t again and again, why put orbital stations around the earth if you could buil some station there?

orbital stations take advantage of freefall to perform experiments without gravity and whatnot while being integral to our worlds comunication systems... a "moon base" would be MUCH harder to do, and wouldnt have anything to do...

Don't forget it was 40 years ago. If we really went, we would have gone again with more sophisticated technology and maps the moon in HD. Something is rotten in Denmark and you disenfranchise yourself by trusting something that is illogical.

Becuase, despite what a waste the Space Shuttle was, it would have been - you could argue - more of a waste not to use it at all. Ultimately, it was about saving money. Apollo was political, not scientific. It was about beating the Soviets (mainly). But one thing's for sure, IT WASN'T FAKED. Google Clavius Base, Redzero Moon hoax, Wikipedia Moon hoax theories, or Bad Astronomy. They debunk each and every hoax claim in depth. Now, if you'll excuse me, I'm returning to the real world.

Wish we had digital video and You Tube when I was in college! Then again, I probably wouldn't have graduated - would have been too busy screwing around making this stuff.
