I understand your point. I for one am a fan of yaoi, and I really don't claim to be better than the squealing fangirls that ask him to say that crap, but he always puts a spin on it at the end that makes me laugh. Pairings arent' really important in the anime as opposed to the manga. This is a moot point. The plot should be more important than the pairings, and anyone who thinks different shouldn't watch FMA.

Actually he really does. Look at the way they interact. It's pretty obvious, that Ed really does respect and look up to Mustang as a father, remember he's a teenager, and he likes to do the exact opposite of what Mustang says. Sounds like a father/son relationship to me.

I am who I am and we are who we are. I may not draw it and I may not like the really slashy stuff, but why should people be ashamed of liking yaoi and yuri? The truly pathetic people aren't the ones who draw the yaoi or the yuri, but the people who can't distinguish between two fantasies. That is ALL yaoi/yuri is, a fantasy within a fantasy, and if you can't see that, you need to take a good, hard look at yourself and figure out why you can't distinguish between fantasy and "reality".

I am a FAN of yaoi but even I agree that it's kinda annoying when people take straight chara and try to make them gay. I love mustang and ed just not together.I'm a hopeless romantic and love stuff like gravitation.Where you have gay LOVE stories but I also love straight love stories. I was very upset with the fact that in both the show and the movie ed and win were seperated. I mean I waited the whole fricken series for the hock up and no go? NOT FAIR.! I understand your point. I for one am a fan of yaoi, and I really don't claim to be better than the squealing fangirls that ask him to say that crap, but he always puts a spin on it at the end that makes me laugh. Pairings arent' really important in the anime as opposed to the manga. This is a moot point. The plot should be more important than the pairings, and anyone who thinks different shouldn't watch FMA.
