This brings me back to my childhood. Wind Waker and most importantly Ocerina of Time. I now experience the dark sides of life in games and movies. War,serial killers, rapists etc... But when I play these games that Zelda sprit just rises up and I get out my N64 and play :)

@Iamintac. Actually it turns out that they are all the same Villian... As Demise is said to change his appearance every epoch during one of Fi's analysis of him. He is the source of all monsters therefore ANY monster in ANY if the games is a result of Demise... I just assume that Ganondorf is A mortal Demise the same way Zelda was a mortal goddess

I was really annoyed that you couldn't save and just continue the game for fun after you'd saved Zelda. The fact that they made you choose to either re-start with hero mode or unsave your progress with Demise really pissed me off. I WANTED TO SAVE A HAPPY ENDING!! Also ... WHEN WILL THEY MAKE ZELDA AND LINK KISS?!

And they do get to meet again. Every time Link is reincarnated into the next Hero, Fi is with him in the Master Sword. She will forever be his companion through his adventures, even if he doesn't know it. Their destinies are intertwined.

I personally find that very touching :)

@AwesomTang Throughout the course of the game. The cloud barrier was put there by the goddess to keep Demise from getting to the humans and the Triforce. Once Demise was gone, so was the need for the barrier.

I didn't cry, but I came pretty close, twice. Teared up a little when Zelda told Link the truth about her existence and what she had to do to fulfill her mission, and at this ending. It was beautiful, bittersweet, and very touching. This is the great emitional value and connection that more games of today need.

What a beautiful ending. I have had the Zelda games in my heart since I found them eleven years ago at the age of seven. They never fail to move me, to make me cry. The Master Sword is the special blade that ties all the games together, and forging it was an honor I was glad to have been given. Thank you Miyamoto for another spectacular edition to Zelda, one which will have as special a place in my heart as Ocarina of Time, the first I ever played.

I was listening to music from this game which led me to a song called, "Fi's Farewell". I decided to listen to it, then watch it. I stumbled upon this video. I knew I would end up tearing up, but this was a full fledge cry I produced. I knew it would be worse when I actually got to it in the game, and I was right. In the 7 days I played, I got really attached to Fi. When she said everything, especially, "Thank you, Master." I lost it. I haven't played very many Zelda games, but this was amazing.

I liked to think that Zelda and Link would go back and resume their knight's training like the good old days, but I guess when things change drastically enough, there's really no turning back even if it's possible. The part that gets me the most is when Fi says goodbye to Link, when i completed the game and saw this ending, that part got me the most, it was amazing! I really hope we see Fi in another Zelda VERY soon! Until then she will be sorely missed =(

The only thing I wish was that Fi had character development. Who knows? Maybe we'll see her again. She and Ghirahim were the same and he had emotions so maybe Fi will get a human form or something like that, and help Link again.

Me personally, I think that Skyward Sword really emphasized the friendship and bonding between all the characters. Link and Zelda are romantically involved, Groose becomes friends with them in the end, Zelda bonds to somebody from the past, and an AI also becomes friends with Link.

That part at 10:15 where Link steps forward when seeing the Master Sword is really moving for me. ;_;

The Legend of Zelda (and perhaps Super Mario Brothers, as well) is the Harry Potter of video games for me. I grew up with it and I will never let it go. Nintendo might as well just claim my soul. :|
