  • Whaddo you mean that the VFC bolt catch is more realistic? The classic army is more realistic.

  • when it comes to stuff like a working bolt catch, what kind of magazine comes with the gun, trademarks on the body and all of that stuff I couldn't care less. All I want is a gun that performs well right out of the box. Internals are what really maters. Know one is going to care weather or not you have Armalite logos or a working bolt catch when they are shooing at you on the field.

  • hey, is that damned ugly orange flash hider glued on there, or is it easy to take off?

  • I've had the vfc for almost a year now. Its probably the best m4 I've ever owned. Also the midcap that comes with it is pretty amazing

  • Im probably gonna get the vfc

  • No one mentioned that the Classic Army M4 had the Armalite Logo on it.

  • id say myself that VFC's are the best out of the box M4's even though both KWA's and CA's are very good guns

  • I wish Call of Duty would just put in a classic looking M4/M16, same with the AK47. Sick of looking at there guns with multiple mods/rails

  • @kVaulkyrie why? the military doesnt use "classic" M4s

  • @xXsiLeNtXkILLzXx yeah but the military actually has foregrips/flashlights/lasers on there M4's that's why they have rails. See CoD just needs to make a normal M4 with the handguard and carrying handle. If you put a foregrip on the gun then the game will add rails. How many Iraqis have you seen holding pimped out railed AK-47's with M4/M16 but stocks on them.

  • @xXsiLeNtXkILLzXx also Call of Duty is one of the furthest games from a true military experience in my opinion so saying the military doesn't use 'classic' M4's has no point because the game has almost no military realism anyways so they have no need to follow military styles.

  • In my opinion hicaps suck. You have to wind the wheel which is very loud.

  • @Deathofblades they do midcaps are so much better

  • @chris123456999 Oh and I forgot to add that hicap mags make the jingling noises from all the bbs in the magazine.

  • @Deathofblades i hate that cause i would try to sneak up for knife kills and people would turn around and shoot me but with midcaps i am now a silent ninja

  • @chris123456999 Exactly. hicaps are for pussies imo period =]

  • @Deathofblades all my friends use hicaps and they wont listen to me about midcaps even though they are so much better

  • @chris123456999 Only thing people think of is quantity over quality. Guns people want a bang for your buck depending on their budget. Now magazines? They'll be like holycrap hicaps hold more ammo so less magazines!! I'm so smart! Wrong! Midcaps are much more efficient than a hicap magazine and doesn't have a container built in it filled with noisy bbs.

  • @Deathofblades guns that come with midcaps are better for more experienced players who already have a shitload of midcaps. but guns that come with high caps are better for starters who only have enough money for a gun, battery, and charger

  • @xXsiLeNtXkILLzXx Now new players? That's a different story. I'd strongly suggest they still get midcaps. My friend wanted to get a midcap when he was starting but wanted to save some money and just put it back in his pocket. So he bought an M4 with a hicap, batts and chargers. Now he's been playing for 2-3 years and says he will never go to midcaps and enjoys hicaps because of their high capacity of bbs. His opinion, what can I do?

  • the ca is actually more realistic to and actual AR15/m4 rifle. although the vfc has a thinner pistol grip thats about where the realism ends. the ca bolt catch is the most realistic airsoft gun i have seen. being a firearm enthusiast i have handle quite a few ar15s and the ca bolt system is actually more realistic. also the ca has a six position stock which is more similar to a mil spec. the five position is kina lame if your going for realism. my choice for realism would definetly be the ca.

  • @japanesefurey12 wtf are you talking about?? The CA Bolt Catch doesn't lock when you pull it back. That is no where close to a real AR15. Only thing realistic about the CA is the stamped steel body. The 6 position stock is not even realistic. You can get a variety of AR15s with a 4, 5 or 6 position stock. And mil spec is mainly found on U.S. issued M4s but there are different stock options. And Idgaf with a 5 position stock if it isn't realistic towards milspec. I'm going to replace it with----

  • @japanesefurey12 ---- a magpul stock anyways.

  • how much would the ROF change if i ran a 9.6 instead of a 11.1 lipo ?? in the VFC

  • 6:42 He looked to the left, he lies.

  • Taking a look at the pricing, with that extra $10 you save with a CA, you can use it to downgrade the spring so it lasts longer.

  • @yolanda262442 VFC internals are designed to handle the m120, so the fact you have to downgrade the CA and spend that extra bucks anyways is a bit of a deterring factor.

  • @yolanda262442 With that 10 dollars I can buy my lunch and a snack. Or I can just use that 10 dollars and skip lunch then invest it in a VFC. 10 dollars is a huge money saver when you see that the differences are huge. How hard and expensive would it cost to buy a locking bolt catch modification?

  • @Deathofblades I can tell by your response tone and how much comments you have left, that you're on an agenda and have troolish humor.

  • @yolanda262442 Sorry kid. Come back again when you figure how to use the word "troll" properly.

  • Vfc wins

  • The reviews on the vfc are not very good. Review wise CA beats vfc. Just thought i would say that if you were looking at both these guns

  • @corfroo VFC internals are better than CA by far. I have taken a look inside both of these guns. VFC's gears are precision cut, and the fact that it has a polycarbonate piston and an aluminimum piston head is enough to beat the CA

  • @corfroo Um okay? So your point?? I can review a CA right now and say it's cons but still give it 5 stars. The reviewers for the VFC are honest and not lenient. They'll have cons and base reviews off of that.

  • @Deathofblades okay whats your point i was just saying the ratings on Airsoftgi but in my opinion go kwa over both these

  • @corfroo "Just thought i would say that if you were looking at both these guns" Doesn't seem like it to me. It sounds as if you were trying to state a point in where the number of positive reviews is favored on the CA on the website. I really don't see how the CA reviews are even legit when someone states like 3-5 cons and gives it 5 stars still. They're inaccurate. Just watch the video from GI for a better comparison and view.

  • hey i got $10 bucks can i have that one

  • Yup still torn about my next gun VFC SR16E3 or CA M4 RIS

  • Hang on a minute... 2:49 he says the VFC is 10$. I so wish that were true :(

  • @c0nTamiNaX that would be awesome but kinda scary because vfc = high end and 10$ = crossman

  • @c0nTamiNaX lol no kiddn' id even get a aps or jg for that price and upgrade the shit out of it

  • @c0nTamiNaX he said the vfc is more expensive at $10 he meant it is $10 more

  • @c0nTamiNaX he meant its 10 dollars more than the CA...

  • can the vfc take a 9.6v battery?

  • @dotanpaz100 no, you can only use a2.3v max on this 280$ gun

  • @dotanpaz100 yes they can.

  • Now just compare VFC M4A1 to KWA's!

  • @TeamPhoenixAirsoft kwas are novice weapons that are overpriced... in an actual airsoft war (at an actual field), you never see kwa's.. that is because their internals are hard to work with and they are lousy .. vfc's are much nicer and these two guns are not comparable

  • I thought the CA voters were cheap bastards but then I heard this and it all made sense!

    watch?v=RUiThe5IgTA

  • is the vfc stock problem the stock or the buffer tube. If i use a different stock will there still be only 5 positions?

  • The guy at 5:10 had the most legit reason for choosing which gun. I agree with him.

  • lol 5:12 you had to move the camera down for him...

  • VFC i have had airsoft guns only made in Taiwan including VFC and SRC

  • oh no only 5 positions not 6?!?!?!

  • VFC=yessssss.......

  • i got the last classic army in stock...... hehehehhe

  • 3:48 The Classic Army is shooting so god dam hard the dust cover flew off....lol

  • When will the vfc be in stock?

  • evike.com rules baby! Sorry airsoftgi :)

  • can you get high cap mags for the vfc?

  • When will vfc be back please responed

  • When will the plain e series m4 be in stock I come on and about to get it then i see its out of stock!

  • @hotdogofdeathTV it just went out of stock about a week ago.

  • All these debates are kind of silly. I would personally get whichever I thought had the better externals and just upgrade internals with after market parts like most people do. If you plan on keeping it stock you might as well get a KWA. That being said, both the VFC and CA are very nice.

  • how do you put the battery in the VFC one cuz idk how? plz help

  • @TheMatstrike in the handguard, pull back the ring just forward of the magwell and pull the bottom part of the handguard off

  • @TheMatstrike if you cant put a battery in a gun you shouldnt be playin airsoft...

  • @TeamSpecOpsAirsoft

LOL! that was 2 months ago when i first bought it

  • I am looking at the m4a1s... so which one is better!!! I can get ares for 210 at red wolf or kwa for 235 there. I can get the ares for 235 over at asgi but I don't know how good the service is at red wolf. Which one please!!!

    @hockeywiz01

    @doriftokonig

  • @Sargent239 if the prices are 25 order from airsoftgi. Redwolf ships from hongkong and it will most likely cost you more to get because of shipping, versus the free shipping airsoftgi has for orders over $100. Not to mention the deal with customs that may hold it up.

Redwolf does have good service though compared to ehobbyasia for stuff you can't buy in the U.S. aka glock trademarked pistols.

  • what is better? KWA or ARES ?????

  • @Sargent239

    is this a serious question?

  • @Sargent239 KWA

  • @Sargent239 ARES

  • @Sargent239 KWA.

  • CA<VFC=KWA

  • CVF I MEAN CVS I MEAN VFC!!!!

  • i'm in the military so i know all about the m16 and m4's.

  • @matthollis31 and your point is??? I'm not in the military and I still know all about the Ar-15 platforms including the military variations.

  • @matthollis31 wow! you're so awesome! can i have your autograph? honestly, you think anybody gives a flying fuck about it

  • VFC YAHHHHH

  • what is better vfc, classic army, or kwa?

  • @ConsumeYourSoul619 CA sucks compared to kwa and vfc. both great brands.

  • vfc vfc vfc vfc vfc rules

  • im sure with in an hour these guys can make 10 dollars

  • Mid caps are the way forward, much more solid than a high cap.

  • awesome weapons. but sorry tim you messed up talking about the bolt catch. the ca is more realistic because on a real M4 you have to push the bolt catch down.

  • @matthollis31 no you dont. for the california legal guns you do but anywhare else you dont.

  • Can you slap on a regular ris onto the vfc? like not one that goes on the delta ring

  • hey everyone I'm selling my classic army m15a4 carbine x series with 2, 300 round mags and a red green dot scope message me to make an offer

  • VFC RULES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • @kaymo211 if you're out of ammo, it will lock back by itself. Otherwise I think you'll have to push it down.

  • @ScanianSwede Oh, I just saw a video review of a real M4 and found out that it won't lock back unless you press the bolt catch down. But when you've fired the last bullit in the mag, it will. PS. sorry for the false info :P

  • @ScanianSwede It will hold back if you have an empty magazine in the gun. If there is no magazine in the gun you have to hold the bolt release.

  • Nice System Of A Down hat at 5:11

  • is it possible or easy i should say to put on RAS rails on this with an m203 and PEQ box?

  • classic army is garbage

  • @shitdemama

Tell that to my classic army that has over 900,000 round through it with no failures and years of heavy use and dry firing.

  • You guys should switch to a shotgun mic to boost quality and clarity.

  • VFC or KWA?? Help??

  • @drummerkid904 VFC

  • @JetlinerXPilotXFSX Why? Can you back that up? Lol I'm trying to decide between this or the KM4A1.

  • @drummerkid904 Well, KWA's are REALLY heavy, and after a long game, you wont feel your arms. But the main reasons are because if a KWA breaks, they are the hardest gun to find parts for. VFC is also hard, so I would recommend you go with a Classic Army X-Sires for something

  • just orderd the vfc, a tightbore, and a pcs nub. i might make a video, substribe to me and it'll be easy to find. and i'll include the unboxing and review and shooting i guess.

  • 5:16 System of a down hat for the win!

  • If only the VFC bolt catch was like the CA, then the choice would be a no brainer.

  • I thought in real guns you have to push down on it to catch the bolt like the CA? Isn't that more realistic?

  • @TFWLGuitarist Classic Army's bolt is more realistic if you are clearing a jam or something like that. The VFC's bolt is more like finishing a full mag and the bolt locks back for the reload, so they are both realistic. just depends on the function you are performing, at least that's what ive seen.

  • @DragonTail9152 Correct me if I'm wong, but I thought the bolt locks back after you fire the las round in a mag, so no need to pull the charging handle after you insert a new mag, just put the bolt release right?

  • @TFWLGuitarist yes you are correct. this is the way the VFC locks the bolt. i personally like the CA's bolt because i myself can get charging handle happy, so if i used the VFC's charging handle A LOT (like i do with my gun) it will wear out and eventually stop locking back. at leats thats my preference

  • @DragonTail9152 umm well wrong, both guns have bolt catches, the vfc auto catches when you pull the charging handle back, the CA was to be held back, then press the bolt catch. either of the bolt catches work with the shooting of the gun, it will not clear jams, its only there for looks and to adjust your hop up.

  • @phelannator we are talking about the real gun functions and how realistic the bolt is on a real life m4 or ar-15.

  • @DragonTail9152 my bad, i just assumed since this is an AIRSOFT video, that you would be talking about the airsoft m4. and its good that some noob kid doesn't read this and say :o THE BOLT ACTUALLY WORKS?

  • how do i downgrade the vfc to 350 fps?

  • @CerealIsDaBomb

Change the spring in the gearbox.

  • Tim please show us the internals of both guns!

  • vfc has great externals and internals, but the classic army has a higher ROF and comes with a high cap mag and you save 10 bucks.... ill go with the vfc cause classic army gears are gonna strip or something else will fail.

  • @dingbat667 or just the shooter (you) fails

  • @boogieman221thx dont get mad at me lol, get mad at classic army

  • @dingbat667 i own a classic army m15a4 carbine AEG myself, and in 3 and a half years of use i just had 1 gearbox jam, and THATS IT. so thats what i call reliable.

  • @boogieman221thx well my CA Ak 47's gears stripped in a month and i kept having to fix it every week.

  • Gotta go with the VFC. $10 is worth it for me for the extra realism.

  • Is the VFC lipo ready?

  • since the vfc's pistol grip is thinner will you still be able to install an aftermarket motor?

  • Of course and i will go with vfc!!!!!!!!!!!They made the best SCARs in the world. They made great M4s too!!!!!

  • Buy the vfc it has better internals and externals. I unfortunatly bought th CA M15A4 X Series and the piston stripped after a week of play. I was only using a 9.6 1600mAh battery. I have read other reviews stating the same thing. Listen to me and go with the VFC, I am going to get on too

  • VFC...getting one this summer :)

  • @IntenseENT Me tooand from what everyone says it is a good choice

  • Hey I am looking at a

Airsoft GI G&G G4 blowback, because it has a crane stock and an ris, for only 200 dollars. any one have a better idea than a G&G with a crane stock and RIS for 200 dollars?

  • can some one tell me if the vfc is worth buying then tell me how far this gun can shoot

  • a vfc m4 and kwa m4 comparison would be interesting considering both are lipo ready and both has laser etching and both looks fairly nice and realistic

  • ok. so i am looking at getting an m4 in the 100-300 dollar range. whats the best i can buy?

  • personaly i would probibly go with whichever was mor redily available in my local airsoft shop with a slight leaning twards the ca just because i know the people there have opened alot of both guns and from what i heard the vfc internals on there e-sieres guns are teriable i also love ca guns and having owned both thats what i would go with

  • the echo 1 platinum m4 is a rabrand vfc right?

  • naw its a colaboration

  • yeah its basicly a rebranded vfc, the externals internals and mags are all vfc. Vfc was just hired by echo 1 to make an actual good gun

  • thanks

  • @mkeras no, its a collaboration of VFC and Echo1, Echo1 did the externals and VFC lent their V2 gearbox.

  • VFC FTW!

  • Comment removed

  • Best weapons ever. The M16/M4 family...

  • c an u get rails for the vfc... like for foregrips and flashlights

  • @JoesphT93 you can get rails for any m4, but if you want stuff to be mounted on the sides (feel free to correct me if im wrong) then you need to buy a new front rail system, which is expensive so i'd recommend getting a gun that already has rails to save you money.

  • @k1ng92 they have pieces you can buy that attach to the holes in the m4 or m16 foregrip, they are only like 10 bucks, so u stand corrected.

  • @bolingersa no... if you read correctly i am partially agreeing with you; it has holes to mount rails on the top or bottom, but not on the sides. I looked it up and i was in fact correct, and you stand corrected.

  • @k1ng92 there are side rail parts also if you mount them on the bottom rail that you buy for 10 bucks, it puts ur flashlight and or laser at a 45 degree i believe, which also puts us at an even i believe.

  • @bolingersa but thats still a mount for the bottom rail (if i understand correctly) meaning that there is in fact no side rails on a standard m4, meaning im still up by one hahaha

  • IMO, CA's are overrated. VFC ALL THE WAY!!

  • dude you know you love ca's VFC's are really unreliable and dont come with as many benifits

  • @ApocalipsalMikey They're alright and an alright company. But if I had to categorize my companies, it'd be:

    1) KWA

    2) G&G

    3) VFC

    4) Classic Army

Systemma obviously isn't on there because there's no way in hell I'm going to fork out $1,000+ for an airsoft gun :P

  • @Alexr197 so systema is getting tokyo marui ?

  • @Alexr197 tokyo marui want a million dollar for a bb ;D

  • hahaha

  • Im going with the classic army this time, sorry vfc

  • *sigh* another m4...

  • Another 'Freakin awesome' M4 :)

  • should the CA m15a4 x-series be making a weird sound when shooting on semi? sounds like the spring moving...its pretty loud.

    anyone else notice this?

  • @crucialroots Yeah sounds like crap

  • I am so sad that the last guy just said he would go with CA just cuz he's used it before.......GET KNOWLEDGE ABOUT COMPETITION BEFORE YOU SHOOT YOUR MOUTH OFF AND SAY STUFF LIKE THAT.....VFC is and forever will be an amazing company that will tower over CA in any aspect. Also, if your buying a 270 or 280 dollar gun then why wouldn't you have your own collection of magazines anyways?? I have a ton of different M4/m16 mags, and seriously, 10 dollars makes that much of a difference?? try VFC!!

  • @bolingersa vfc is a great company but if you want to add a ris system then that tten bucks could help, so thats why ca egdes a little bit over, but vfc is the better company

  • @bolingersa dude you're an idiot.

Personal experience over the experience of others. Ever heard of that? VFC internals are seriously crap.

Lipo ready my ass. VFC is a bunch of liers just like all the other airsoft companies except KWA. KWA forever.

  • @Heheh274 Im not going to fight ab KWA cuz I know they are good but I have the Echo1 Platinum and Im using an 11.1 lipo in it right now and have been for about 5 months now with no wear or tear wat so ever, i take the thing apart after every game and clean the insides out and put new grease on it and I haven't found one part on there that looks like its going to break at all. Every other "Lipo" ready gun I've used broke withing a month, Im not stupid, VFC is a fine company.

  • @bolingersa KWA's reinforcement is like armor plating on a tank lol. Its about as thick as my Masada Customs M4 which has full chromoly steel and titanium internals. KWA uses very good steel and im pretty sure their mechshells are CNC machined. I'm not saying that VFC isn't bad. I'm just saying that it's not going to handle a good 11.1 20c battery as well as the KWA does.

  • @Heheh274 Hey, I never dissed on KWA, KWA gas guns are and will be the finest I've ever bought, I use KWA as a standard for any gas gun i buy if they don't carry that model, and I've heard amazing stories about the 2GX gearbox which have all been used with 11.1v lipos. So please don't take this the wrong way cuz I do like KWA.

  • @bolingersa If you think KWA NS2 is good u havent seen a Inokatsu lately lol.

  • @bolingersa

Damn dude get off your period and relax

  • @bolingersa well every one has their own prefrences

  • @bolingersa somebody is to excited.

  • @Heheh274 A lot of people will either buy the cheaper one or one that they think is better without doing any real research, I've had the Echo1 Platinum edition which is practically the same thing internally as the VFC M4 here. I've ran an 11.1v lipo in it since i received it and have had no issue what so ever, and i've had it for about a year. I kno a guy that tried a lipo in a CA and the wiring burnt up, that's not cool for anyone and thats also another 30 bucks to fix if you want good wires.

  • @bolingersa I prefer the CA for compatibility reasons. I keep nothing stock.

  • @bolingersa Also, the CA is more realistic in a way. It has the actual trademarks and the bolt behavior is more realistic.

  • @Heheh274 VFC has no compatibility issues. Its completely Marui compatible meaning even CA parts can fit. And no the CA has cheap parts one it, the delta ring for one isn't even realistic......the metal on the more expensive ones doesn't even rival that of a VFC at all, and I'd much rather have VFC engraved on my gun if it means it runs better than a CA that has some real trades....wohoo....ur gun has 5.56 COLT ON IT! so does a freaking JG......

  • @bolingersa almost nothing is compatible with the VFC SCAR H and L. I don't think you even have a clue to what you are talking about.

  • @Heheh274 Um, we are talking ab m4/m16 varients not SCARs u idiot....don't call me stupid when your pulling a whole different gun type into this.
