新白有十二个编剧，都对中国文化十分精通，整个剧情都是从古典戏­剧小说多个版本里面整合出来的，不仅故事情节，包括唱段旋律，都­是从戏剧里衍生出来的，唱词更是厉害都是这帮编剧自己写的，简直­就是当代曹雪芹啊。外景都是在苏杭当地取景，演员演得也十分出色­到位，实在是太经典了。

I LOVED and always LOVE the themesong of the movie. This is sooo classic. Angie Chu is very beautiful and grace. The female actress did FANTASTIC job portraying the male character. When I see she cries, it made me want to cry. She touched my  heart with her pain. Her acting is speechless.

This version is the BEST White Madem Snake EVER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The beginning part, about the boy saving the girl, was fantastic, leading us to the following parts. Thanks to the fabulous imagination of our ancestors, we have quite many wonderful fairy tales to enjoy, but this one is definitely my favorite.
