I am Armenian and this music fills simply my heart with joy, and some pity about the current situation between our peoples. Karayev should be considered one of the greatest composer's of the 20th century. His orchestrations are remarkably colorful and the influence of folk music is pure and sincere.
ı agree,plus ı think azerbaijanis and armenians look like each other so much.they both re actually talanted people,if the war had never happened,we could build a great civilzation in south Caucasia.but now we have just dictatorship and militarist society.very sad..
@crrtpf That's a good point.The dictators are using the war to stay in power. I too sometimes dream about how wonderful it would have been to have a peaceful life in the Caucasus, advance and develop by working together and enjoying life together. Every single Azeri person I have met in my life has been an admirable, kind human being. How on earth is anyone going to convince me that they are supposed to be my enemy? For the rational people among us wars are even more painful.
