  • WILL YA DRIVE THE FUCKIN THING!!!!

  • it will be such an accomplishment once the Nsx can hang with the AWD Legends (Cyber, HKS, Tomei/Cusco) considering it can't deal with too much torque unlike the Suby's and Evo's

  • wow!!!

  • DAT SPOILER

  • I'd like to see this NSX vs Cyber Evo

  • 8 years?!?!

  • dude redline time attack makes no money all these guys racing there arejust rich kids whose daddies can loose 200k a year no problem

  • @cdawg1113 they don't really enter to make money in time attack, a mostly their after the bragging rights, being able to say that you hold a long withstanding lap record around a track is quite a powerful tool (BTW: most of the money comes from the sponsors)

  • @cdawg1113 lolumad?

  • @cdawg1113 yeah to that, or shops field cars

  • Time Attack Cars have to be road legal and this has racing slicks, what's up with that??

  • @arrancooper69 No, most of the high performance time attack cars are in the pro class but the street legal racing is in a different class. Besides have you ever heard those things in real life? There's no way they reach the acceptable noise limit for street cars.

  • ARBs seem to be very soft! A lot of bodyroll

  • Those CCW Wheels are soooo sexy!!!

  • damn nice jordans

  • coming in flat black for this year :)

  • everyone says evos are best time attack cars but isnt the tsukuba lap record held by a nsx?

  • @somerandomaussie yes but the NS record is a GT500 car worth close too a million$ the HKS evo fastest 4wd car is about 1/4 of that price. you throw enough money at any car and it will be fast. just 4wd car dont need as much money development to go as fast as RWD

  • @nipponbaka interestingly enuf tho the arta nsx and the hks evo have similar power figures (i think the nsx is limited to 500ps) makes me think how the nsx could be 2 sec faster considering the tuning and chassis work that has gone into the hks evo

  • @somerandomaussie like I said nsx runs full slicks much wider tyres and brakes are much larger. basically if you spent as much on the evo as goes into a gt500 car youd have a car just as fast probably faster since the evo is turbo.

  • @nipponbaka the hks evo is worth atleast 500k since is body is completly hand crafted dry carbon fibre which isnt cheap...the gt500 cars are turbo aswell and the brakes on the evo compared to the nsx wouldnt be to far off it comes down to the tires the evo uses semi slicks where as the jgtc nsx uses full slicks which would make the 1-2 sec difference....shows how fast the evo really is compared to a full race car on slicks :)

  • @somerandomaussie yep and the 4WD cars cleaned up again at the World time attack on the weekend in Sydney

  • @nipponbaka yea i was gonna attend the superlap challenge but i wasnt able to travel to sydney from where i live...im surprised hks didnt turn up considerin they are almost 1 second faster than the cyber evo at tsubaka which won the event ahead of sierra sierra..even after blowing there engine and having to borrow a spare...and build and fit in in under 11 hours

  • Can I put the Wide Front Fender with just the stock front bumper? I just want the wider looking side and back...

anyways what kind of body kit is that> will that be available?

  • The bodywork is the FXMD widebody that includes front bumper, front fenders, side skirt, rear 1/4 panels, and optional hood and trunklid. The front fenders won't align with the stock front bumper. Shoot me an email or check out NSXPrime for more info.

  • too much talking

  • I have this car at STMPO right now. it is being converted to run e-85. the roll cage is in the works as well as maximum chassis support. we are shedding POUNDS AND POUNDS off this car.. this car has 8 track records, and soon will be shattering it's own plus other records!!! KEEP AN EYE ON BILLY AND THIS CAR!!!

  • epic video, im impressed.

  • This is the baddest nsx in the world

  • @Paganiproductions No man.. Check out what JM Imports have on pistonheads!! Now thats badass

  • the rear wing is so high..

  • this car is extreme-o-built... understated in this video

  • Decent car, boring as shit video though.

  • Titanium Rods, Magnesium Valvecovers, a pioneer in variable valve timing in a production car, one of the first cars with an all aluminum chassis, faster/better than a 348 in almost every regard forcing Ferrari to build faster/better cars, it has its place in history. Yes the 280hp 'gentlemens agreement' is pathetic by today's standards. That's what a turbo is for ;)

  • the car comes with a bunch of bitches ;)

  • it just seems to me the biggest problem with the NSX is its just a stock v6 accord power train put on a really good chassis and way over priced. Or that was the problem when it came out. Had honda taken it serious and priced it right it could have been a Ferrari, Porsche and Nissan GTR killer but it wasn't even close for the money to a GTR nor a Porsche or a Ferrari

What confuses me is Honda himself was into racing so why didn't they make it much faster?

  • Japanese "gentlemens agreement" ,it means that no road car can have more than 280BHP...

  • my 3.2 NSX does to 60 in 4.6 and 12.9 on the 1/4 mile, stock, that is not "slow" by any means + it drives like a 130K + car and it looks like a proper sportscar (not a PIG with 600HP) ... take in consideration that my year model is already 12 years old and outruns 99% of the cars out there ... is pretty remarkable .....

Nsx's are nor for everyone though.

  • ya but what was the msrp when it was new plus it had to be special ordered it was more expensive than a 9/11 with less performance it didn't come close to Ferrari in anything it doesn't really out perform or outlast a GTR which cost half as much.

I actually really like NSXs but I was just complaining why didn't Honda make them much faster especially for the price. I'm not too surprised they are so rare because if you bought a new one you paid way too much.

  • infact I would have rather have gotten a RX7 for the money I could have replaced the engine a couple of times. But I can build the engine my self also so...

  • I agree with you, I mean @ 84K the power wasn't that great, but think about how the 348 was the ferrari to "beat" and it took ferrari all the way to the F360 to have a "better" car -the Honda still will drive 300K miles- and those cars were way above 84K ....

NSX's been so old and been so capable only shows how great they are, weight reduction (- 200lb's arent that impossible) + a Supercharger u have a great car, leave alone FI -turbo- if raw HP is your thing, NSX's are not the ones to pick.

  • But yeah, NSX's are the car you must love/appreciate for what they are, not for what they aren't !

In my case I love most sports cars :D

  • Yep totally agree with you.

I'd love to get my hands on one and get it upto 500hp I think thats about right for the handling and the look of the car and since most Nissan's can handle that and be daily reliable I'd imagine if built right so could the 3.2 honda.

I mean people put 500hp outta the 90s vg30dett and drive it daily and they last a really long time same with the vqs (jat) depending on how often you take it and beat it on a track.

  • yea, the nsx would have had better reliability and upkeep over the 355, but considering the step up from a nsx to a 355, the reliability and upkeep are an acceptable trade off.

Nsx fan boys will defend till the day they die, but there are some comparisons that are just laughable..

  • Nsx's are one of the best cars ever selled !

  • @kaicos

it sucked that it was barely sold tho

because of it honda stopped making it

honda stopped making good cars in gerneral

fastest cars that honda have now is the civic and rsx and they dont even have 200 hp stock

  • @kaicos sold?

  • @kaicos u mean sold....

  • HOLY wing

  • It's a race car

  • I love this car, but I still think the wing is overkill.

  • It looks good to me. Its still processing

  • Hahaha

  • Then he owes my wife money.

  • oh snap, nice... lol.
