The problem is that China is in fact a civilization (which means a cluster of similar cultures and nations) posing as a nation. If some how tibet isnt a part of China, than the thing is that China would seize to exist. Because the diversity and localism in China is already so strong that any part of the current China can do fine as a independent entity.
