There are several nations trying to get out of the dollar. This has been going on for a few years now. I keep my ear close to the ground in matters of currency. It seems that the US dollar is in big trouble. A lot of nations want to dump their dollar holdings but cannot because it would cause a meltdown unlike anything in history. Although, if the problems with the dollar are not corrected than a epic meltdown will happen anyway. Paper money backed by nothing is to blame.

I went to Iran in Nov 2009, I saw some misery due to the sanctions from the US, Israhell and Europe, but people were defiant of the western countries while at the same time very welcoming and anxious to know how the west perceived them.
