LOL. you pick on bible versus....how weak. try picking on Gods grand design, consider what it is to be infinite. consider science and the beginning of the universe as we know it.
"it is he who has revealed the book to you, some of it's versus are precise in meaning, they are the foundation of the book. And some are ambiguous. Those who's hearts are infected with dis-belief observe the ambiguous parts as so to create dissension among men" - The Imrans.
To me is a matter of amazement that such a crap was, even for a minute, believed by any intelligent individual. No amount of shoehorning and mental back-flip can make that idiocy tally with reasonableness.
if you were in jail and you begged someone "God" for 400 years to get you out, and he got you out, but all you did was complain about where you where now, he would be mad at you too. so according to you people should just get what they want when they want and never have to be held accountable for anything that they do.
It is just as true as the snake that talks, the donkey that also talks, and lets not forget the guy that lived in the belly of the whale for three days....oops, not a whale a big fish, apparently that makes a difference, living in the belly of a whale? don't be foolish, it was a big fish.
Once the light has been lit in the brain, one is able to see the foolishness of all religions.
You know, although I'm an atheist, my arguments have never been against the possibility of the existence of a Supreme Creator. My arguments have always been
against the Bible's egregious absurdities literally taken by grown-up morons. I don't
know if there's a god or not--that's not obvious to me one way or another. But what is very obvious to me is that the Bible does an awful job explaining this God.
You should do the story of Job...God litterly destroyed his life because he and satan made a bet to see if he'd get upset at god for letting terrible things happen to him.
Instead of telling satan to "get fucked" god decided to do horrible things to Job...and dont say "he gave him twice what he once had" because giving someone a new family wont take away the fact that god killed job's family just for a bet.
God...Yahweh...you're a evil tyrant and a dictator!
OMG I found your videos and all I can say it thank you, they're so funny and so brilliant. I love this one most of all because I can't stop laughing listening to it, lulz!
@BehindCrossroads, you are a liar, read your bible. What context are you talking about anyway? This story is in the bible and is one of many of it's absurd stories.
would shot it off in order to present an argument in an attempt to harmonize away such an asininity. No matter how absurd and irrational the tale may be, they would find a way to make it sound plausible. When they want to believe something, no amount of logic can persuade them otherwise, and no rationalization is too far fetched. Credo quia absurdum!
hey where did that story came from the story was that moses asked god for food and god sent two kinds of birds around them and for days they were just eating this birds and then they asked moses to pray to god to have some vigs and god didnt gave them that
i see alot of Judging of God.... but God will have the final word and the Bible says let Him be true and everyman a liar.. In short at the end of the day those who think they know better than God and judge him will find out they were wrong... I def judged Him before i met Him in many respects and later realized i was wrong .... wrong about things i was sooo sure i was right on... Why this and why that... Don't have time...but my point is what is Right may often seem wrong through imperfect eyes.
I don't assume there is a God... I know because I met Him.... And he will reveal himself not those who want to find Him their way.... He will reveal himself to those who out of a humble spirit call out to Him... I did that 10 years ago and wow... He is so near its amazing... Trust me deep down in side you know He is true and that is why you take the time to knock this .... why knock a fairy tale but because you soul knows something is up you write. The Bible calls it suppressing the truth in..
Thanks man, really I'm going to start reading more of the Bible, it has a bunch of crazy stories. I've read it a lot from it but never heard this story.
This is the respect westerners give to our living GOD.Christ blessed them and made them to rule our the world.Even though they are many civilizations already established. Christ made over them and given every thing they want knowledge, prosperity, power etc.Now this idiot talks against the same GOD who made them better.
You are asuming there is a God, and also asuming Christ has any sort of power if he ever lived. You are being pretty judgmental, and arrogant thinking what you are spouting is even remotely true.
I cant watch these videos anymore and i recommend all Christian stop as well... Lets just pray.... Judging God is not smart .... You guys do what you want i cant watch these no more ... but for some reason this man continue to judge God and again i dont think this is wise... Its only when we humble ourselves as i mentioned in the 2 clips ive seen ...only when we humble ourselves will perhaps God have mercy on you and help you realize that you are making fun of the only one who truly loves you .
" I cant watch these videos anymore and i recommend all Christian? stop as well..."
Yes...that's good advice. If someone challenges your beliefs, hide! Don't enter into a rational debate and present your point of view, hoping to make him see things your way. Turn off your brain, ignore your logic and reasoning skills, hide under the bed, and PRAY!
There are a lot of things in the bible that I find unreal like noah's ark, and hell..But if I read the koran or the bhagavad-gita or what the buddhist call their book,i'd find a lot of goofy stories. If people want to live by the bible that's their choice but they shouldn't take their private belief anf force it on anyone or say that a secular nation should be guided by the bible, and that's the problem with people who are against gay marriage based on what the bible says, which is wrong.
Which ark?? How do they know it was Noah's ark? There have been other stories about arks that were made that a god commanded by other civilizations that predates Christianity. So Noah's story isn't even original. So again, I ask how do you know it's noah's? Did it have his name on it? lol
In response to people who say this doesn't serve a purpose it does wether the style is right or wrong the content is educational I've just heard a story that i have not yet gotten round to reading now i heard it I've decided i'd like to read it please everyone be open minded and love yourselves
600,000 is only the number of males above 20 year. Count in women (they had generally 2 wives each) and children. Then you easly reach 3,000,000 people. Unseen and without trace.
Instead of mocking people's belief you should say why believing in these things are wrong.I think the story of the hebrew's struggle to freedom is teaching a lesson like when old people talk about walking 10 miles to school and how hard life was is to tell the younger generation that they got it good and should'nt complain.Making video's deriding the bible so athiesy can laugh about it does'nt serve a purpose.
"Making videos deriding the bible so athiesy can laugh about it does'nt serve a purpose. "
I disagree, DarthKreeg. The story is incredibly silly. I was raised as a Catholic and had never heard it...the church favors the more palatable "love thy neighbor" type teachings, and sweeps the rest under the rug. Millions of people live their life by the book that contains the dead quail story...maybe holding it and other goofy bible stories up to the light will make people re-evaluate their beleifs.
It's funny how God was always talking with the ancients, and getting into all sorts of zany misadventures with them. Then, once science and healthy skepticism were developed, and documentation became more reliable, it all stopped.
Tell someone that God showered his people in a dead bird storm yesterday and they'll just laugh, but read it from an ancient book written by scientific illiterates and, for some reason, belief is no problemo.
The funny thing is that the distance between Egypt and Canaan can be traversed by foot in ten days. Granted, a whole host of people ranging from infants to the elderly will move considerably slower, but 40 years? They can't have had the smartest of guides.
the google advertisement to the right says: "jesus loves you: prayer will change your life." even though he's not real, maaaany are profiting off of jesus. off to study 'bible math.'
dnt read this(cuz it really wrks). u will gt kissd on the nearest frieday by the love of ur life. 2mara wll b the bst day of ur life hwever if you dnt post ths comment 2 at least 3 vids u will die withn 2 days nw uv startd readn this dnt stp this is so scary snd ths ovr 2 5 vids in 143 mins when ur done press f6 nd ur crush's name will appear
LordXela777, I gotta take exception to a few of your points:
1.) Why do you require that "every skeleton" be found in order to prove evolution, but do not require any evidence to prove that we're descended from two individuals?
2.) If it's true that there are 2000 copies of OT & NT scripture, does that prove that what's written in them is true? We have authentic copies of Gilgamesh - all that proves is that an ancient creation myth was committed to writing at some point.
3.) When you mention the Roman chariot wheels, are you referring to the discovery of Ron Wyatt? Google his name and you'll find out that he's the biggest archeological fraud in history. He has absolutely no archeology credentials, and claims to have found Noah's ark, the Tower of Babel, the crucifixion site, the blood of Jesus...and many other fantastic biblical finds.
Not really. This is an "ocean", it was much more than one wheel, and people didn't go over there often. Ocean on one side, mountains on the other two? There's not much point to go over there, unless you're chasing slaves who have a God who can part water.
Yas, if you have only found 100 skeletons, (which aren't even considered "good" finds) you still have the other 567 changes between us and them that you have to find. An annoying thing about evolution is that you have to find every skeleton to absolutely prove it, I'm not going to bear with you and fill the holes in my imagination.
Why would anyone care about old Bible pieces? Well why would anyone care about skeletons?
Isrealites are so stupid , here G-D gives them mana and they just eat it ,complaining that it tastes bland. EVERYONE knows you use it to cast spells , so they coulda used it to cast "create food and water".
And about all the dead birds that came apon them. Are we sure it was G-D and not the first documented instance of BIRD FLU!
sometimes God will put so called "contradictions" in the bible so you will study it out.He wants you to delve in the Bible (KJV). But if you are in there only to look for contradictions, he will let you believe them if you want to.2 Thessalonians 2:10-11 . However he will reveal Himself to an earnest and sincere student of the Bible.
"Study to shew theyself approved unto God, a workman needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth" 2 Timothy 2:15
-- sometimes God will put so called "contradictions" in the bible so you will study it out.He wants you to delve in the Bible (KJV). --
I swear it's like saying, Oh we can't put the most important document strait forward or fully honest, because then it wouldn't be studied and held in a higher light..
Anyone else see ... This is really, Stupid.
The bible (supposed Important book to our eternal souls) and God wants us to go though contradictions within it self. CRUEL
God could have put the bible any way He wanted to.And there are things in the bible that do look like contradictions, but if you are sincere in wanting to know the truth and study the bible out He will show you the answer. But He isnt going to reveal it to some bible critic, that is only wanting to put the bible down
The bible is the most important book and God does want us to go through it, believe it and study it.There are no contradictions int he bible, its a simply a matter of studying
"But He isnt going to reveal it to some bible critic, that is only wanting to put the bible down"
Why not? One would think that these people were precisely the ones who needed the Bible's true message revealed to them. What is the point of convincing someone who ALREADY believes?
zideffil- The cave thing? are you talking about the tomb and the resurrection of Jesus Christ? if yes then, the story is simply given from different angles and viewpoints, no contradictions. It like at a accident scene, witnesses see different things and remeber different (not contradicting) details, it doesnt mean any of them are wrong
2 Chron 36:9 and 2 Kings 24:8. Read 2 Chron 36:5-9. his father was taken to babylon when he was 8 he reign for 3 mon. oblviously again when he was 18.
Ruthelizabeth, again, I gave you the proof you asked for and you come up with a LAME excuse like this concerning the scene at the cave where Jesus was put? I see that I have just been wasting my time. Once more,...either there was an angel or there wasn't. Either there were guards there or there weren't. ONE story concerning the cave scene is right and the others are WRONG. In any case, the whole silly thing is a fabrication written some 60 to 80 years after the fact. I'm done. There's no use.
zideffil-i supplied answers to your claims and then simply asked what contradictions, you were talking about concerning the tomb. And look at your accusations, i've already answered it. There are no contradictions, one gospel simply states that the soldiers were there and died. All state the fact about the angel.
Each gospel is meant to show a different side of Christ, so they will reveal different facts. The fact that some gospels dont mention the soldiers, doesnt mean they contradict.
zideffil- 2 Sam. 10:18 "slew the men of 700 CHARIOTS" if there were 10 men in each chariot thats 7,000 men found in 1 Chron. 19:18
2 Kings 8:26 and 2Chron. 22:2 the best way to explain it is like this.First the Hebrew manuscipts states 42 in one place and 22 in another. But if you look at David he was annoited when 17 but didnt get the thrown till 30, so it could be that he was annoited at 22 but didnt get the thrown till 42, its still his rightful reign. Jesus Christ is another good example.
Also, what has led to more murders, torture and debauchery is mans sinful wicked nature, not the Bible.
Also, I would love to discuss the "contradictions" in the bible with you anytime, just email me. But I would reccomment reading Dr. Peter Ruckman's book "Errors" in the King James Bible.
ruthelizabeth, the errors are many. I have listed but a few but if you read the 3 different versions of what happened at the cave mouth where Jesus came out , I mean, 3 distinctly different stories of the cave thing. Which is the right one? In any case, I am growing tired of trying to show 'believers' the errors of their ways, but with very little luck. I guess we EACH have to wake up in our own time. Once one does though, it's amazing how quickly at all looks SO foolish to us as we look back.
They wandered around in the desert because they did not have a 'GPS". But man that was a good story,...i think. I didn't quite get the punch line so I didn't laugh.
And also, all over the bible it says he is a loving and caring god. Actually it says hes both. So.... Well, I just think it's nuts. I'm less confused than a "diety" and I'm only "man". Personally, fuck you. And the goat you rode in on. You're a fruitcake.
happilyhurting, I think that you have the right attitude. one must let the Christian demennted freaks know where we stand concerning their twisted, cruel ways, handing out sentences like it is their right becuase they have an inside line with the fucking lord. Well, the 'lord' can kiss my rosy red ass. He doesn't scare me at all. Oh, I know...I've sealed my fate now, eh, you stupid vindictive broad, ruthyelisabeth. Jus keep on rolling around in your sea of self-righteousness, dealing out death.
Also if you look in numbers 11:4, 34 you can also see that God killed them because they were lusting after the things in Egypt, this is also a sin. Exodus15:26 "If thou wilt diligently hearken to the voice of the LORD thy God, and wilt do that which is right in his sight, and wilt give ear to his commandments, and keep all his statutes,I will put none of these diseases upon thee, which I have brought upon the Egyptians" So God pre warns them that if they dont do right, he will give them diseases
It's fucking scary to hear that you belive it's okay to burn people, at all. A imaginary god or not. But because it's religion, it's okay!!! If I was to mention something about burning or killing or anything in the name of anything else it'd be an atrosity. You're fucking twisted, and so is religion
I wasnt saying that I was going to burn people alive in the name of God, i was saying that God clearly states that HE is going to, when they are cast into hell and also here in Numbers he does it. there is a major difference in doing something in the name of God and God doing it.
Sounds like a loving, good hearted dude. Actually he kinda sounds like a jealous teenage kid to me. Don't get his way? Fuck em. Let's burn em. The bible says that god is a jealous god, and even though I could ask why harbour such a petty human emotion, it really doesn't make much sense to me to be carrying on a conversation about the emotions of an imaginary "deity" that has emotional problems.
Who said God was loving? Psalms says He is angry with the wicked everyday. Yes He loves His children, but not the lost (the ones sent to hell).
Yes, Jealous as in He doesnt want you to worship other gods. He is the true Creature and has no pity for these other fakes and thier followers that will be sentenced to hell without a second thought.
Uuuuummmmm ruth...in leviticus God commands the people to stone to death gays, disobedient children and women found to be non virginal at their weddings.......so i guess these people are wicked also, disobedient children???????? are u freakin insane?????
Right, stone gays, it corrupts God's intent for sex. (Husband plays role of God, wife the church, if it's homo, the parallelism gets messed up), stone, not kids, but around 13-17 year old teens who refused to work and always drank, read the text closer.
Ya, stay virgin till you get married. Or is that too much too ask?
ruthelisabeth, you are truly screwed up bad. If there supposedly is only one god, then how can one worship the wrong god? Nevermind answering. It'll just be the same lame lod-sided bullshit that you freaks always spurt out. Goddamn...I live for the day that all religiond will be outlawed. Then, and only then will we be able to advance as a race. Ah yes..when the last stone from the last temple falls on the head of the last priest. Hally fuckin' lujah!
LordXela777, if you were to look into it, Hitler was a catholic and was very closely allied with the catholic church and he told his main henchmen that he would always be a catholic even when he became world leader. The catholic church helped very much to spirit the nazis out of Germany after the war and into South America and they were instrumental in helping flush out the Jews for murder and all kinds of debauchery. Look it up if you don't believe me. Christianity has nothing to be proud of
Did Hitler ever speak of Jesus? Besides the routine Catholic chants, did he ever talk about Jesus in public? I don't care if he shouts out "I'm Catholic!", I still don't consider him a Christian in the least. You can go ahead if you want to, but, I say it's inaccurate. I have a bone to pick with Catholics anyways. They screw everything up. The only horrible thing Christians have done that WASN'T catholic was the protestant witch burnings.
Nothing to be proud of? Relief aid is so shameful.
you're using the no such scotsman fallacy of logic. you can't dissociate them from your belief just because you don't like them.
religion insists that there's a greater life after death and diminishes people's value in the life before death. what's the difference between catholics and christians? they follow the same book. does one group just grocery shop through it?
There's as much difference between a Catholic and Christian as there is Shi'ite and Muslim. Catholics scare everyone off from Christianity, just as Shi'ites do from Islam.
i know that, i used to be a christian and i use to use the Catholics as a scape goat to blame all the lunacy on. its easy to say that they committed the genocides in the past, they rape little boys, and they are the judgment bearing one, but the fact is that no religion is innocent of the diminishing of the secular world. each one contributes to spreading messages with lies, half truths, and logical fallacy.
ruthelizabeth88, I just can't fathom how anyone can possibly believe the Bible, it's SO FULL of contradictions, but some do and it serves to divide families, races, etc. It is THE WORST invention ever made and has led to more murders, torturings, and debauchery than any other thing. Why on earth would the creator of the universe NEED so damned much adoration anyway? Goddamn, but he is an awful fickle and self-centered guy! Read "The Christ Conspiracy - greatest story ever SOLD". real eye-opener
zideffil, Its easy to make a statment like "its so full of contradictions" without backing that statment up. The bible is yet to disproven in a court of law (includes contradictions), there are even foundations that have offered money if you can prove it wrong, it a court of law.
You've go the wrong perspective, the whole reason, according to the bible, that we were created is for compainionship and to glorify God, so what business do we have doing anything else.
O.K. ruthie elizabeth, you say there are no contradictions? I know of some 500-odd ones. Here are just a few: - IISamuel6:23 Michel, the daughter of Saul had NO KIDS until her death. IISamuel21:8 Michel had 5 sons (at least). (Also, her name was changed to Merab in the New Amer. Stand. Bible) IISamuel 24:1 God moved David to number Israel. I Chronicles21:1 SATAN moved David to number Israel. II Samuel10:18 David slew 700 chariot men IChronicles 19:18 David slew 7,000 chariot men. Same battle.
zideffil- 2 Sam. 21:8 says that she brought those five sons up for Adriel (KJV). Also look in 1 Sam. 18:19 and Merab is Adriel's wife (KJV).
Next, 2 Sam. 24:1 and 1Chron. 21:1. Look in Job 1:6-12 and Job 2:1-6. vs 1:11 Satan asks God to put forth his hand and smite Job, vs1:12 God gives Satan this power. Same in 2:5-6. To verify read 2:3 "thou movedest me against him" , 2:6 " Satan....smote Job". There's alot more to the reason behind it, but I'm out of space, i'll email it to ya if ya want.
More, ruthie...To start with, there are over 50 different versions of Bible in English so it's hard to know which is the 'right one' II Samuel8:4 David took 700 horsemen. IChronicles 18:4 David took 7,000 horsemen. IIKings 8:26 Ahaziah was 22 years old when he began to reign. IIChronicles 22:2 Ahaziah was 42 years old when he began to reign. IIKings24:8 Jehoiachim was 18 years oldwhen he began to reign. IIChronicles 36:9 He was 8 years old when he began to reign. I could go on and on all night
This is weak. If you actually understood the bible then you would understand this story. This is so weak that you had to try and add some more effect to the video...by sitting in front of that castle, as if you are telling a kids bed time story. Oh and wearing that tapout shirt does not make you look tough.
The rest of Numbers 15 says"out of hand,if I have found favour in thy sight and let me not see my wretchedness"So here Moses has heard nothing but complaining since leaving Egypt and he is fed up with them.He aks God to give them meat to shut them up or if the Lord loves him kill him(basically so he can get off this stinkin earth and have eternal fellowship with his best friend). He also says"let me not see my wretchedness",so he knew he was complaining to the Lord, didnt have the right attitude
ruthelisabeth88 - Yeah, Moses is asking God to kill him, so he doesn't need to keep telling the Israelites how "great" his God is when he forces them to wander the desert aimlessly with nothing to eat but magic oil-flavored wafers, and then burns people alive when they complain about it.
Moses is saying: "Either kill me or do something nice for these people and provide some meat for them."
The quail was meat. The Israelites were whining like a bunch of babies, while God was taking them to the promised land. They were too busy complaining to see what God was doing for them, who can blame Moses for wanting to get away from them, but we all sometimes act like Moses and think that God has put too much on our shoulders, it still doesnt give us the right to question Gods will.
ruthelisabeth88 - The quail was meat, and no one was allowed to eat it. Num 11:33 "And while the flesh was yet between their teeth, ERE IT WAS CHEWED, the wrath of the Lord was kindled against the people, and the Lord smote the people with a very great plague."
How much would someone need to complain in order for you to feel justified in burning them alive or poisoning them?
Well i'm not God. And obviously they would need to complain as much as the Israelites did. They didnt even take time to thank God before eating of the quail he provided, otherwise, they wouldnt have died. One of the reasons God isnt doing that now a days, is because we are in the time of Gods' Grace and longsuffereing, whereas they were in a time of the Law.
ruthelisabeth88 - The fact that you think there is an acceptable point where people deserve to be burnt alive and/or poisoned is disturbing.
You're adding things to the story again. (You do that a lot) Show me the verse in Numbers where it says God made the quails poisonous BECAUSE the Israelites didn't say "thank you," or the verse where it says he wouldn't have poisoned them if they had been more grateful.
Yes by God there is an acceptable point for people to be burnt alive, heard of Hell. God gave these people life, they have abused the privilegde, so a perfect and just Creator does have the right to take it.
Also, it doesnt say they didnt say thanks, its the lack of saying that they did. Throughout the bible, there are multiple instances of where when God gave a blessing and He was thanked for it, it was continued, but when the individual didnt thank God, there were consequences
Second, the manna was able to be made many different ways Numbers 11:8. So it could have tasted different depending on the way you made it. Also oil was prized back then. Thats what they used to make thier bread, so comparing it to "fresh oil" is not neccesarily a bad or negative thing.
ruthelisabeth88 - Oil was prized back then for many reasons, not the least of which was for baking and for use in oil lamps... that doesn't mean it tasted good. (And it DEFINITELY doesn't mean it tasted like honey)
Here are some references where oil is being associated with good/valuable/expensive foods and in some cases states specifically for baking. 1 Kings 17:12-16, 2Kings 18:32, 1Chronicles 12:40, 2CHronicles 31:5, Jeremiah 31:12, Ezekiel 16:20,ect. Also like i mentioned in numbers 11 it gave examples of them making it different ways. Also I backed up the Honey comment with the Verse in Exodus. One of the ways they made it, it obviously tasted like honey.
ruthelisabeth88 - The verses you listed only mention oil in passing, saying they had it and used it, which I've already admitted (do you read MY responses?) None of the verses says anything about how the oil tastes.
You've countered one verse which says manna tasted like oil by quoting another verse that says it tasted like honey... showing internal contradictions doesn't help your case.
I posted those verse to show that Israelites associated oil with good foods (honey, wine, bread, cakes of figs, bunches of rasins, summer fruits). This is how they thought of oil, they vauled it. It wasnt associated with "run of the mill" foods back then. If you look in Num. 11:7-8. First it says it was as coriander seed, look that up,it is used in alot of foreign dishes as a spice and has a good taste.Vs 8,"fresh oil",if you didnt like the tatse you wouldnt use positive words like fresh.
First they did say there was nothing before thier eyes except manna, but its like a kid whose nintendo privilege has been taken away and he goes to his mom and says, theres nothing to do. There plenty of things to do, just not what he wants to do the most. Like with the children of Israel, they had other things to eat, just not ALL of the comforts of Egypt.Exodus 12:38 is talking about them leaving Egypt "And a mixed multitude went up also with them; and flocks, and herds, even very much CATTLE"
ruthelisabeth88 - You should've just said: "The Bible is wrong when it says they had nothing but manna to eat."
Wait... that's exactly what you said, then you added things that were not in the story. If you want to just add things to the story, you're welcome to do so, but then you're no longer arguing for the validity of the Bible, you're arguing for you own embellished account.
I didnt say the bible was wrong, I just explained that the children of Israel were exaggerating how bad they had it(like most of us do when in the mood to complain)and they were forgetting some of thier blessings, like the cattle. Then I gave you verse in Exodus to back it up.Many accounts in the bible are told in several different books of the Bible with different details.God does this to make you study the bible. Just cause its not in the same chapter doesnt mean I changed the story
ruthelisabeth88 - That's the fun thing about the Bible, it retells the same stories over and over again. The account in Exodus and the account in Numbers disagree on MANY topics. Whether or not they had cattle to eat is only one example.
Whenever differing accounts are given, either one account is wrong - or both are. I'll let you decide.
I'm not trying to be mean but, are you reading my replies? because I just explained that they dont contradict, one account just gives details that the other doesnt. no contradiction. And like i explained earlier, the children of Israel were obviously looking at the negative parts to thier situation (no fish or fowl) and not acknowleding thier blessings (the cattle). We do this all the time when we go to the pantry and say "there nothing to eat" however there is just not what we prefer to eat.
ruthelisabeth88 - One account says they had NOTHING TO EAT BUT MANNA, then Moses begs God to feed the people some meat. The other account says they had cattle with them. How is that NOT a contradiction?
Throughout the wanderings in the wilderness you find they are offering sacrifices, where did they get this meat? Well you can do two things say"its a contradiction"or have faith in God that he worked it out.But how much faith does it take when in Exodus it says they took cattle with them from Egypt. The Israelites mentioned the fish they missed, why not beef or lamb?Because they had it with them.Like them when we complain we are dont always give a accurate decscription of our situation either
Also the reason he killed them when they were eating the quail "While the flesh was yet between thier teeth"(KJV) is because they didnt even take time to thank God for this blessing, they just dug right in.They were being unthankful and complaining still. Also Moses was discouraged because of the people constant whining. He asked God to kill him so he wouldnt have to deal with them, and so he could be home with the Lord. There was no comment about him being a sacrfice so the people could have quail
ruthelisabeth88 - Numbers 11:13-15 "Whence should I have flesh to give unto all this people? for they weep unto me, saying, Give us flesh, that we may eat. I am not able to bear all this people alone, because it is too heavy for me. And if thou deal thus with me, kill me, I pray thee..."
first off manna tasted very good, it was "angels food". in Exodus 16:31 it gives a bettter description saying it tasted like wafers with honey. second the people did have meat, they had cattle. They had to have some of these for sacrifices, but was for food also. They were just tired of steaks and ribs(poor poor pitful people) each night for dinner. They were just being unthankful and complaining, like practically all americans.
ruthelisabeth88 - Numbers 11: 5-8 "We remember the fish, which we did eat in Egypt freely; the cucumbers, and the melons, and the leeks, and the onions, and the garlick: But now our soul is dried away: there is nothing at all, beside this manna, before our eyes... and the taste of it was as the taste of fresh oil."
Congratulations, you discovered yet another contradiction within the Bible... the taste of manna.
that is only temporary pain and just think what if god hadn't punished the hebrews like that just think what kind of sin they would be in eventually no one would believe in him then everyone on the planet would deserve eternal death by punishing the hebrews he saved them and every believer that came after
Hey don't worry man, I agree with ya. If I were God and I had to watch over people half as whiney, dispicable, traitorous, and just plain annoying as the biblical Isrealites I'd be burning and plaguing them to death constantly too. They so had it comming.
this wasn't the first time that they complained this kind of thing happened frequently
if some body kept asking you for more and more would you get mad
and i think that killing means less to god because most of those people believed in god, so really when he killed them he sentenced them to an eternity in paradise
they should be grateful for eating anything at all if you were saved from slavery that you were in your whole life and the only way out was across a dessert wouldn't you be happy eating any thing
saxaphone444 - They had plenty of food before they were "saved." Including fruits, meat, etc... The only thing God would give them was something that tasted like Crisco.
Was complaining about food really enough to warrant killing them?
if i saved a man from prison who was wrongly accused, then made him walk through a desert for another year or so feeding him food that tasted like crap then at first site of him getting upset shoot him in the head and kill him cause he is ungreatfull cause i took him from jail and into about the same thing with just less then he had before?
so it would be ok to burn them alive then cause a plague too kill piles of them?
sounds rather fucked up too me,
you save them, make them walk around for Months after being saved, get them to eat shitty food, then give them tainted quail meat? fuck i think anyone would bitch if that happened
Seems to me that God deserved a little more respect after all when you rescue so many people from 3 squares and a cot just to have them lost in the desert for 40 yrs the darn fools coulda been a little more appreciative. Of course the real moral of the story is no matter how much God shits down your throat just shut up and swallow. Now thats reading it without having to aplogize to receive my eternal reward. But that's just me, prideful and free
hey shawn your entire video is just messed up from the beginning. your so wrong you messed up from the very beginning .. at 0:28 you said that Moses told the people that the cloud was God.. you are wrong first off the cloud is Gods creation.. finally what really happened was that God used the cloud to lead the people..
JesusFreak31293 - I have no idea which version of the Bible you are using.
The KJV says: (Numbers 11:1) "And when the people complained, it displeased the LORD: and the LORD heard it; and his anger was kindled; AND THE FIRE OF THE LORD BURNT AMONG THEM, AND CONSUMED THEM that were in the uttermost parts of the camp."
Are you trying to give Christianity a bad face? Or do you believe you're doing the work of God? Last time I checked, God didn't judge humanity by their lack of grammar.
Eeeeeeee...... I wouldn't say that. : | God often judges based upon foolishness. From my experience, there seems to be a correlation between foolishness and bad grammar : /
im not religious at all just so you know but what if there is a God and the bible was written by man?

"it is he who has revealed the book to you, some of it's versus are precise in meaning, they are the foundation of the book. And some are ambiguous. Those who's hearts are infected with dis-belief observe the ambiguous parts as so to create dissension among men" - The Imrans.

crh2010 1 year ago
if you were in jail and you begged someone "God" for 400 years to get you out, and he got you out, but all you did was complain about where you where now, he would be mad at you too. so according to you people should just get what they want when they want and never have to be held accountable for anything that they do.
Travisshaft 1 year ago
How can you ridicule this story?
It is just as true as the snake that talks, the donkey that also talks, and lets not forget the guy that lived in the belly of the whale for three days....oops, not a whale a big fish, apparently that makes a difference, living in the belly of a whale? don't be foolish, it was a big fish.
Once the light has been lit in the brain, one is able to see the foolishness of all religions.
Keep posting these vids, as laughter is healing.

But make no mistake! There are overtly
religious people who seem to have an
on/off switch in their rational thinking, and
would shot it off in order to present an argument in an attempt to harmonize away such an asininity. No matter how absurd and irrational the tale may be, they would find a way to make it sound plausible. When they want to believe something, no amount of logic can persuade them otherwise, and no rationalization is too far fetched. Credo quia absurdum!

i see alot of Judging of God.... but God will have the final word and the Bible says let Him be true and everyman a liar..
SouthAmerica4Christ 2 years ago
I don't assume there is a God... I know because I met Him.... And he will reveal himself not those who want to find Him their way.... He will reveal himself to those who out of a humble spirit call out to Him... I did that 10 years ago and wow... He is so near its amazing... Trust me deep down in side you know He is true and that is why you take the time to knock this .... why knock a fairy tale but because you soul knows something is up you write.

DarthKreeg 2 years ago

(cont'd)
Mickster6988240 2 years ago 3
(cont'd)
3.) When you mention the Roman chariot wheels, are you referring to the discovery of Ron Wyatt? Google his name and you'll find out that he's the biggest archeological fraud in history. He has absolutely no archeology credentials, and claims to have found Noah's ark, the Tower of Babel, the crucifixion site, the blood of Jesus...and many other fantastic biblical finds.
Mickster6988240 2 years ago 2

Well why would anyone care about skeletons?

sometimes God will put so called "contradictions" in the bible so you will study it out.He wants you to delve in the Bible (KJV). But if you are in there only to look for contradictions, he will let you believe them if you want to.2 Thessalonians 2:10-11 . However he will reveal Himself to an earnest and sincere student of the Bible.

KernsNoel 2 years ago
God could have put the bible any way He wanted to.And there are things in the bible that do look like contradictions, but if you are sincere in wanting to know the truth and study the bible out He will show you the answer. But He isnt going to reveal it to some bible critic, that is only wanting to put the bible down
The bible is the most important book and God does want us to go through it, believe it and study it.There are no contradictions int he bible, its a simply a matter of studying
ruthelisabeth88 2 years ago
"But He isnt going to reveal it to some bible critic, that is only wanting to put the bible down"
Why not? One would think that these people were precisely the ones who needed the Bible's true message revealed to them. What is the point of convincing someone who ALREADY believes?
Gilmaris 2 years ago 2
zideffil- The cave thing? are you talking about the tomb and the resurrection of Jesus Christ? if yes then, the story is simply given from different angles and viewpoints, no contradictions. It like at a accident scene, witnesses see different things and remeber different (not contradicting) details, it doesnt mean any of them are wrong
2 Chron 36:9 and 2 Kings 24:8. Read 2 Chron 36:5-9. his father was taken to babylon when he was 8 he reign for 3 mon. oblviously again when he was 18.
ruthelisabeth88 2 years ago
Ruthelizabeth, again, I gave you the proof you asked for and you come up with a LAME excuse like this concerning the scene at the cave where Jesus was put? I see that I have just been wasting my time. Once more,...either there was an angel or there wasn't. Either there were guards there or there weren't. ONE story concerning the cave scene is right and the others are WRONG. In any case, the whole silly thing is a fabrication written some 60 to 80 years after the fact. I'm done. There's no use.
zideffil 2 years ago
zideffil-i supplied answers to your claims and then simply asked what contradictions, you were talking about concerning the tomb. And look at your accusations, i've already answered it. There are no contradictions, one gospel simply states that the soldiers were there and died. All state the fact about the angel.
Each gospel is meant to show a different side of Christ, so they will reveal different facts. The fact that some gospels dont mention the soldiers, doesnt mean they contradict.
ruthelisabeth88 2 years ago
zideffil- 2 Sam.
Jesus Christ is another good example.
ruthelisabeth88 2 years ago
Also, what has led to more murders, torture and debauchery is mans sinful wicked nature, not the Bible.
Also, I would love to discuss the "contradictions" in the bible with you anytime, just email me. But I would reccomment reading Dr. Peter Ruckman's book "Errors" in the King James Bible.
ruthelisabeth88 2 years ago
ruthelizabeth, the errors are many.

You're fucking twisted, and so is religion
happilyhurting 2 years ago
I wasnt saying that I was going to burn people alive in the name of God, i was saying that God clearly states that HE is going to, when they are cast into hell and also here in Numbers he does it. there is a major difference in doing something in the name of God and God doing it.
ruthelisabeth88 2 years ago
Sounds like a loving, good hearted dude. Actually he kinda sounds like a jealous teenage kid to me. Don't get his way? Fuck em. Let's burn em. The bible says that god is a jealous god, and even though I could ask why harbour such a petty human emotion, it really doesn't make much sense to me to be carrying on a conversation about the emotions of an imaginary "deity" that has emotional problems.
happilyhurting 2 years ago
Who said God was loving? Psalms says He is angry with the wicked everyday. Yes He loves His children, but not the lost (the ones sent to hell).
Yes, Jealous as in He doesnt want you to worship other gods. He is the true Creature and has no pity for these other fakes and thier followers that will be sentenced to hell without a second thought.

People tell me of that poster that shows the trade towers, with the caption, "Imagine a world without religion."
I always think of Nazi Germany.
LordXela777 2 years ago
LordXela777, if you were to look into it, Hitler was a catholic and was very closely allied with the catholic church and he told his main henchmen that he would always be a catholic even when he became world leader. The catholic church helped very much to spirit the nazis out of Germany after the war and into South America and they were instrumental in helping flush out the Jews for murder and all kinds of debauchery. Look it up if you don't believe me. Christianity has nothing to be proud of
zideffil 2 years ago
Did Hitler ever speak of Jesus? Besides the routine Catholic chants, did he ever talk about Jesus in public? I don't care if he shouts out "I'm Catholic!", I still don't consider him a Christian in the least. You can go ahead if you want to, but, I say it's inaccurate. I have a bone to pick with Catholics anyways. They screw everything up. The only horrible thing Christians have done that WASN'T catholic was the protestant witch burnings.
Nothing to be proud of? Relief aid is so shameful.
LordXela777 2 years ago
you're using the no such scotsman fallacy of logic. you can't dissociate them from your belief just because you don't like them.
religion insists that there's a greater life after death and diminishes people's value in the life before death. what's the difference between catholics and christians? they follow the same book. does one group just grocery shop through it?
asicstitan 2 years ago
There's as much difference between a Catholic and Christian as there is Shi'ite and Muslim. Catholics scare everyone off from Christianity, just as Shi'ites do from Islam.
LordXela777 2 years ago
i know that, i used to be a christian and i use to use the Catholics as a scape goat to blame all the lunacy on. its easy to say that they committed the genocides in the past, they rape little boys, and they are the judgment bearing one, but the fact is that no religion is innocent of the diminishing of the secular world. each one contributes to spreading messages with lies, half truths, and logical fallacy.

ruthelizabeth88, I just can't fathom how anyone can possibly believe the Bible, it's SO FULL of contradictions, but some do and it serves to divide families, races, etc. It is THE WORST invention ever made and has led to more murders, torturings, and debauchery than any other thing. Why on earth would the creator of the universe NEED so damned much adoration anyway? Goddamn, but he is an awful fickle and self-centered guy! Read "The Christ Conspiracy - greatest story ever SOLD". real eye-opener
zideffil 2 years ago
zideffil, Its easy to make a statment like "its so full of contradictions" without backing that statment up. The bible is yet to disproven in a court of law (includes contradictions), there are even foundations that have offered money if you can prove it wrong, it a court of law.
You've go the wrong perspective, the whole reason, according to the bible, that we were created is for compainionship and to glorify God, so what business do we have doing anything else.
ruthelisabeth88 2 years ago
O.K. ruthie elizabeth, you say there are no contradictions? I know of some 500-odd ones. Here are just a few: - IISamuel6:23 Michel, the daughter of Saul had NO KIDS until her death. IISamuel21:8 Michel had 5 sons (at least). (Also, her name was changed to Merab in the New Amer. Stand. Bible) IISamuel 24:1 God moved David to number Israel. I Chronicles21:1 SATAN moved David to number Israel. II Samuel10:18 David slew 700 chariot men IChronicles 19:18 David slew 7,000 chariot men. Same battle.
zideffil 2 years ago
zideffil- 2 Sam.
There's alot more to the reason behind it, but I'm out of space, i'll email it to ya if ya want.
ruthelisabeth88 2 years ago

That was hilarious! Why would he trick them and bury them under 3 feet of quail?
LogaLogGrenn 2 years ago
The rest of Numbers 15 says"out of hand,if I have found favour in thy sight and let me not see my wretchedness"So here Moses has heard nothing but complaining since leaving Egypt and he is fed up with them.He aks God to give them meat to shut them up or if the Lord loves him kill him(basically so he can get off this stinkin earth and have eternal fellowship with his best friend). He also says"let me not see my wretchedness",so he knew he was complaining to the Lord, didnt have the right attitude
ruthelisabeth88 2 years ago
ruthelisabeth88 - Yeah, Moses is asking God to kill him, so he doesn't need to keep telling the Israelites how "great" his God is when he forces them to wander the desert aimlessly with nothing to eat but magic oil-flavored wafers, and then burns people alive when they complain about it.
Moses is saying: "Either kill me or do something nice for these people and provide some meat for them."
God does neither... what a prick.
azsuperman01 2 years ago
The quail was meat. The Israelites were whining like a bunch of babies, while God was taking them to the promised land. They were too busy complaining to see what God was doing for them, who can blame Moses for wanting to get away from them, but we all sometimes act like Moses and think that God has put too much on our shoulders, it still doesnt give us the right to question Gods will.
ruthelisabeth88 2 years ago
ruthelisabeth88 - The quail was meat, and no one was allowed to eat it. Num 11:33 "And while the flesh was yet between their teeth, ERE IT WAS CHEWED, the wrath of the Lord was kindled against the people, and the Lord smote the people with a very great plague."
How much would someone need to complain in order for you to feel justified in burning them alive or poisoning them?
azsuperman01 2 years ago
Well i'm not God. And obviously they would need to complain as much as the Israelites did. They didnt even take time to thank God before eating of the quail he provided, otherwise, they wouldnt have died. One of the reasons God isnt doing that now a days, is because we are in the time of Gods' Grace and longsuffereing, whereas they were in a time of the Law.
ruthelisabeth88 2 years ago
ruthelisabeth88 - The fact that you think there is an acceptable point where people deserve to be burnt alive and/or poisoned is disturbing.
You're adding things to the story again. (You do that a lot) Show me the verse in Numbers where it says God made the quails poisonous BECAUSE the Israelites didn't say "thank you," or the verse where it says he wouldn't have poisoned them if they had been more grateful.
azsuperman01 2 years ago

Thats what they used to make thier bread, so comparing it to "fresh oil" is not neccesarily a bad or negative thing.
ruthelisabeth88 2 years ago
ruthelisabeth88 - Oil was prized back then for many reasons, not the least of which was for baking and for use in oil lamps... that doesn't mean it tasted good. (And it DEFINITELY doesn't mean it tasted like honey)
azsuperman01 2 years ago
Here are some references where oil is being associated with good/valuable/expensive foods and in some cases states specifically for baking. 1 Kings 17:12-16, 2Kings 18:32, 1Chronicles 12:40, 2CHronicles 31:5, Jeremiah 31:12, Ezekiel 16:20,ect. Also like i mentioned in numbers 11 it gave examples of them making it different ways. Also I backed up the Honey comment with the Verse in Exodus. One of the ways they made it, it obviously tasted like honey.
ruthelisabeth88 2 years ago
ruthelisabeth88 - The verses you listed only mention oil in passing, saying they had it and used it, which I've already admitted (do you read MY responses?) None of the verses says anything about how the oil tastes.
You've countered one verse which says manna tasted like oil by quoting another verse that says it tasted like honey... showing internal contradictions doesn't help your case.
azsuperman01 2 years ago
I posted those verse to show that Israelites associated oil with good foods (honey, wine, bread, cakes of figs, bunches of rasins, summer fruits). This is how they thought of oil, they vauled it. It wasnt associated with "run of the mill" foods back then. If you look in Num. 11:7-8. First it says it was as coriander seed, look that up,it is used in alot of foreign dishes as a spice and has a good taste.Vs 8,"fresh oil",if you didnt like the tatse you wouldnt use positive words like fresh.
ruthelisabeth88 2 years ago
First they did say there was nothing before thier eyes except manna, but its like a kid whose nintendo privilege has been taken away and he goes to his mom and says, theres nothing to do. There plenty of things to do, just not what he wants to do the most. Like with the children of Israel, they had other things to eat, just not ALL of the comforts of Egypt.Exodus 12:38 is talking about them leaving Egypt "And a mixed multitude went up also with them; and flocks, and herds, even very much CATTLE"
ruthelisabeth88 2 years ago
ruthelisabeth88 - You should've just said: "The Bible is wrong when it says they had nothing but manna to eat."
Wait... that's exactly what you said, then you added things that were not in the story. If you want to just add things to the story, you're welcome to do so, but then you're no longer arguing for the validity of the Bible, you're arguing for you own embellished account.
azsuperman01 2 years ago
I didnt say the bible was wrong, I just explained that the children of Israel were exaggerating how bad they had it(like most of us do when in the mood to complain)and they were forgetting some of thier blessings, like the cattle. Then I gave you verse in Exodus to back it up.Many accounts in the bible are told in several different books of the Bible with different details.God does this to make you study the bible. Just cause its not in the same chapter doesnt mean I changed the story
ruthelisabeth88 2 years ago
ruthelisabeth88 - That's the fun thing about the Bible, it retells the same stories over and over again. The account in Exodus and the account in Numbers disagree on MANY topics. Whether or not they had cattle to eat is only one example.
Whenever differing accounts are given, either one account is wrong - or both are. I'll let you decide.
azsuperman01 2 years ago
I'm not trying to be mean but, are you reading my replies? because I just explained that they dont contradict, one account just gives details that the other doesnt. no contradiction. And like i explained earlier, the children of Israel were obviously looking at the negative parts to thier situation (no fish or fowl) and not acknowleding thier blessings (the cattle). We do this all the time when we go to the pantry and say "there nothing to eat" however there is just not what we prefer to eat.
ruthelisabeth88 2 years ago
ruthelisabeth88 - One account says they had NOTHING TO EAT BUT MANNA, then Moses begs God to feed the people some meat. The other account says they had cattle with them. How is that NOT a contradiction?
azsuperman01 2 years ago
Throughout the wanderings in the wilderness you find they are offering sacrifices, where did they get this meat? Well you can do two things say"its a contradiction"or have faith in God that he worked it out.But how much faith does it take when in Exodus it says they took cattle with them from Egypt. The Israelites mentioned the fish they missed, why not beef or lamb?Because they had it with them.Like them when we complain we are dont always give a accurate decscription of our situation either
ruthelisabeth88 2 years ago
Also the reason he killed them when they were eating the quail "While the flesh was yet between thier teeth"(KJV) is because they didnt even take time to thank God for this blessing, they just dug right in.They were being unthankful and complaining still. Also Moses was discouraged because of the people constant whining. He asked God to kill him so he wouldnt have to deal with them, and so he could be home with the Lord. There was no comment about him being a sacrfice so the people could have quail
ruthelisabeth88 2 years ago
ruthelisabeth88 - Numbers 11:13-15 "Whence should I have flesh to give unto all this people? for they weep unto me, saying, Give us flesh, that we may eat. I am not able to bear all this people alone, because it is too heavy for me. And if thou deal thus with me, kill me, I pray thee..."
azsuperman01 2 years ago
first off manna tasted very good, it was "angels food". in Exodus 16:31 it gives a bettter description saying it tasted like wafers with honey. second the people did have meat, they had cattle. They had to have some of these for sacrifices, but was for food also. They were just tired of steaks and ribs(poor poor pitful people) each night for dinner. They were just being unthankful and complaining, like practically all americans.
ruthelisabeth88 2 years ago
ruthelisabeth88 - Numbers 11: 5-8 "We remember the fish, which we did eat in Egypt freely; the cucumbers, and the melons, and the leeks, and the onions, and the garlick: But now our soul is dried away: there is nothing at all, beside this manna, before our eyes... and the taste of it was as the taste of fresh oil."
Congratulations, you discovered yet another contradiction within the Bible... the taste of manna.
azsuperman01 2 years ago
ruthelisabeth88 - You may say they had steaks and ribs to eat, but the Bible (specifically Numbers 11:6) says they had nothing to eat but manna.
As long as you're adding things to the story, you should say Moses had a motorcycle... that would make the story more fun.

that is only temporary pain and just think what if god hadn't punished the hebrews like that just think what kind of sin they would be in eventually no one would believe in him then everyone on the planet would deserve eternal death by punishing the hebrews he saved them and every believer that came after
saxaphone4444 3 years ago
Hey don't worry man, I agree with ya. If I were God and I had to watch over people half as whiney, dispicable, traitorous, and just plain annoying as the biblical Isrealites I'd be burning and plaguing them to death constantly too. They so had it comming.
dannypantsgm 3 years ago
this wasn't the first time that they complained this kind of thing happened frequently
if some body kept asking you for more and more would you get mad
and i think that killing means less to god because most of those people believed in god, so really when he killed them he sentenced them to an eternity in paradise
that doesn't sound to bad to me
saxaphone4444 3 years ago
saxaogibe4444 - So... how many times will you let your kid complain before you burn them alive?
azsuperman01 3 years ago
there is a huge difference from being a person wrongly accused for a crime and an enslaved people
plus god didn't just save one person
if you had one people to be your chosen people
how would you expect them to act?
saxaphone4444 3 years ago
they should be grateful for eating anything at all if you were saved from slavery that you were in your whole life and the only way out was across a dessert wouldn't you be happy eating any thing
saxaphone4444 3 years ago
saxaphone444 - They had plenty of food before they were "saved." Including fruits, meat, etc... The only thing God would give them was something that tasted like Crisco.
Was complaining about food really enough to warrant killing them?
azsuperman01 3 years ago
if i saved a man from prison who was wrongly accused, then made him walk through a desert for another year or so feeding him food that tasted like crap then at first site of him getting upset shoot him in the head and kill him cause he is ungreatfull cause i took him from jail and into about the same thing with just less then he had before?
sthoopedrick 3 years ago
if you saved a whole race from slavery, would you be mad if they did not appreciate it
saxaphone4444 3 years ago
so it would be ok to burn them alive then cause a plague too kill piles of them?
sounds rather fucked up too me,
you save them, make them walk around for Months after being saved, get them to eat shitty food, then give them tainted quail meat? fuck i think anyone would bitch if that happened
sthoopedrick 3 years ago 2
Thnks Azsup, spot on with the interpretation.
