Where can you find the knife that separates the coconut meat from the shell? I haven't been able to find one. Thank you! I have the 8006 and never thought of doing this. Great Video.

yes, you can use the 8001with the "blank" or "solid" plate. (use it instead of the juicing screen).

Question, Can you use this to make other oils? Like Rose Hip Oil, ect.

No. This machine will only make coconut butter and oil (see the other video). The Samson Juicer has an oil attachment (see the video demonstration on that video). It will make oils out of flax, chia, sesame and other oil-based seeds. it is not tested for rose hip oil. I do not think it would make rose hip oil, since its not from an oil seed, but probably from distillation.

can i do that in the omega vert? and is there a way to dehydrate witha dehydrator?

You can do this in the Omega VRT, it will be messy because there is no blank plate.. That being said, it will void the warranty of the vrt. Once the butter is made it can not be dehydrated- it will melt instead of dry.  You can freeze it to make it hard.

Yes, it might not come out as "fine". Use the blank plate and run the mixture through several times.

Thanks for the great video. A few questions...does the 8006 do as well making raw nut/seed butters? They are impossible to find around here and cost a lot to buy online plus shipping. Also would you recommend this juicer as a good all round juicer? It seems that to accomplish all that one needs in a healthy/raw foods diet you need more than one expensive juicer. I have a juicer thats great on hard fruits and veggies but not on greens or anything like what the 8006 can do.

Juicers do not make raw nut/seed butters like the ones sold in stores. I will be doing a video on that soon. I do like the Omega 8006 and Omega VRT330 as my two favorite juicers. Which one would depend on your needs.

Ah well, you just answered my question about using a Green Star, I will use my Samson. The Samson was my first juicer and I well NEVER part with it! I just got the Green Star for Christmas.
