  • This would go great with my crocodile hunter outfit.

  • All the demonstration team train with weapons, thats obvious, but something in me says that you really don't want to fuck with Robert.

And thanks for bringing out an SK-5 version of this knife! It's awesome to know I can get a copy of this brilliant design! Cheers Cold Steel!

  • Boner..... That's all this gave me

  • "THAT WAS FUN"

  • 0:45 Thats one way to split the deck...

  • no disrespect intended amazing knife... but what on earth would you regularly need this for?

  • @GasmaskProductionINC I know people who carry this knife every day. Remember we are an international company. Laws and attitudes towards knives differ all over the world.

  • VERY IMPRESSIVE KNIFE!!!!

  • kurgan?

  • 2:44 That was fun!!!!!!! I love this guy

  • Your boy should close his mouth when chopping that raw meat :D

    He looks daft too :P

  • @Worrun He has been around knives, swords and edged weapons his entire life. He's a member of our family and a member of the Cold Steel crew. He's more than capable of using a knife. He also gets to use those kick ass knives to cut up lumps of meat. You sit on the internet making stupid comments. I'd rather know one of him than ten of you. Go away.

  • @Worrun Your type is the worst. It's real easy to sit on the computer and bad mouth people, a kid at that, but I would bet money that you would never have the nerve to say this to his fathers face. Anyway, I hope you the best and hope you enjoy these product demonstrations. Your views make CS money.

  • I'm wondering why this knife is not used by butchers !!

  • found the new kitchen knife for the GF

  • Any one up for a game of 52 pick up? :D

  • @Trek2255 More like 104.

  • @Trek2255 104, stupid.

  • hehe at 0:40, that brings a new meaning to cutting a deck. id hate to play friday night poker with him...

  • wow you guys have amaizing stuff

  • How do you guys sharpen all of your knives?

  • what are you doing with all that meat after cutting him to pieces?

  • @amits1996 all of the meat utilized in these videos was carefully preserved and donated to the Ventura County Rescue Mission

  • cold steel, please, please, please make a survival knife with around a 1/4" thick blade that is under $100? it would be really awsome because i have several of your knives and they are super stong but they dont have quite enogh weight.....

  • Nice knife, but I like your gurkha kukri better.

  • This knife is a work of art. You really have to hold one to appreciate its beauty.

  • 0:54 man make money, man KILL money!

  • 4:09 Ahhh so that's how they get those. They start with the whole pig. And I thought they just bought these legs. :P

  • let me just say if anyone one wants to buy a sword or knife or machete under 50 dollers. cold steel is the way to go.

  • if only high school biology was like this...

  • 1:38 (guy in mirror) "fml"

  • this video is very disrespectful to animals and national coinage gtfo scrubs

  • name sound??

  • Defacing US currency is against the law.....

  • @makeuplover1935 tell that to mayweather who burns 100 dollar bills for the cameras.

  • Waching Cold Steel's videos re-assures me on how awesome they are! Can't wait to get my Cold Steel Kobun! :D

  • CS are these, and you're Laredo bowie full tang?

  • @RENOGUY777 no, we use a cable tang for these knives. They are incredibly strong. I've never seen or heard of one breaking in all the years we've been making them

  • @csknives So, in an emergancy situation, possibly for long periods of time i.e. 3 weeks. The carbon steel versions could chop/process (baton) wood and not break?

  • @RENOGUY777 I can't comment on something that might happen (it would be pure speculation) but in all the time I've worked for Cold Steel I've never heard of one failing

  • Без ПОДОБНО!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • 3:10 Future serial killer

  • @25Celtics Don't be an asshole.

  • are you ever going to post videos of the 2011 swords that you made like the British Cavalry sabre or the 1917 saber?

  • @hawkstrike244 we have a lot of videos planned for 2012 :)

  • 0:48 ok now cut the deck, NO NOT LIKE THAT!!

  • ..I think these guys would be great to have as friends ... look at their Butcher work :O!

  • 3:05 so good even your kids can do it

  • 0:47 When they say "Cut the deck", I don't think they meant LITERALLY ;)

  • He uh... he barley even touched the cards. Win. Pure, solid, killing knife win.

  • 0:49 Looks like he

    B :-)

    B-)

    cut the cards.

  • Are coldsteel products made in the U.S, Canada or the E.U?

I've been thinking on buying however I don't want some 'Made In China' blade... I've gotten some and are good for a bit but after some usage they start showing a lot of stress faults in the blade so I am not fond with Chinese-made blades(If they were of good quality I wouldn't have a problem, however that's not the case)

  • @luciferiexcelsil They are manufactured worldwide. Most are made in Japan, USA, or China. Our quality control is exceptionally high + our testing process is the toughest in the industry. We have a reputation for strength, sharpness + reliability that we are very proud of. I understand your concern regarding country of manufacture, but I assure you that you have nothing to worry about when it comes to Cold Steel. Shop around + check the reviews. You'll see why we're so proud of our products :)

  • I love the music in the background, have you guys ever considered releasing a soundtrack?

  • i just like to see a guy cut a pig with a knife/dagger

  • now that's a knife

  • thats sick fucks in the commercial.

  • you do not show what the blade looks like after you bend it beyond a certain degree. It would also be nice as mentioned in previous comments to show after heavy cutting or chopping like the wood a cut test to show retention of the cutting edge.

  • @jodylale That test is to show that the blade can flex without snapping. To bend and return true is a different test altogether (check out the British Proof Test as shown on some of our sword videos). The extreme bending test will damage the knife and it may not return true, but it won't break and it won't fail. It's still there for you in an emergency. That's the point of this demonstration

  • What do you have to say about some of your ripoff products? Tomahawk the knife company totally stole there Kukri diveted handle design. And can one order bulk numbers of your products (over 1,000) ?

  • @thatguru877 You can order bulk as a dealer or distributer. There's a section on our website for this. Check out "Dealer Inquiry" at coldsteel (dot com)

  • @csknives Thank you, you guys get an A for customer service.

  • @thatguru877 my pleasure. Have a great day

  • 0:48 "now cut the cards"

  • how sharp is it after slapping through that wood? shave still with it? great knife btw :)

  • @25centsapop It won't be razor sharp but it'll still have a very functional edge. It will however be very easily re-sharpened and back to hair popping sharp in no time at all :)

  • @csknives sweet! glad to know that yall respond to these, and also my pal got one yesterday, its amazing and really sturdy, well i dont need to explain it do i? yall do a great job at that ;)

  • Dont get me wrong all the weapons you make are amazing, but i just cant work out why they are needed. Its like carry round an RPG for self defence when a small revolver would do. the reason to buy a knife like this would be for show or just to mess around with, like chopping up phone books :-/

  • @chadyE The RPG is a thrower. We throw them for fun. But could it be used as a last ditch self defense option? Oh you betcha :)

  • @csknives i think he ment a real rpg... u know the rocket propelled grenades

  • @csknives

    Um....Rocket Propelled Grenade?

  • @csknives rpg as in the missile launcher

  • @BLeSSeDoGkUSH420 gotcha.

  • wonder how it throws

  • @chillymywilly Whilst I have seen it thrown it's not it's intended function

  • 0:49 is my new poker night party trick.

  • i was really hoping he was going to slice a tomato after hacking through that 2x4.

  • i want to work with these people,

  • can you make a replica of Lawrence of Arabia's Jambia Dagger?

  • When a pig checks the box for "Organ Donor" when filling out license forms......it comes here after its death....

  • you cant carry that! its illegal

  • @thewistleboy Maybe where you live, but don't forget we are an international company. There are different knife laws all over the world (that's why we make such a wide variety of products). Here in California several members of our PROOF crew carry a Bowie Knife on their belts every day :)

  • 500$ for this? that's just stupid.

  • @MasterOfTheCreed One knife that will last a lifetime, be there for you in a pinch, never let you down and be a power that you can pass on to your children? I thats' worth a few bucks :)

  • @csknives Well said, well said.

  • 1:58-2:02 thumps up if u foud it cool

  • thumps up if u alwayes feel that the ball will balance of when ever they do cuting test on a ball

  • This knife is so fucking manly that when I tried to shave with it, my beard got longer.

  • 3:57 fine, slice through the pigs testicles

  • 0:55, its illegal to destroy money because you ruin the economy

  • Not the Orange Soda!! @ 1:30 lol

  • at 2:37 his face

  • what i like about the knife is that its stronger than a sowrd its hard to bend it. btw give the pig a chance :(

  • i hope you eat all that meat

  • @TheMOZZIE123 All the meat utilized in this video was donated to the Ventura Rescue Mission

  • dear santa..

  • Poor little pig :( I will kill it if I have a chance :))

  • 3:54 - 4:10

    @_@

  • Wow...it can even go through a deck of cards awesome.

  • I will use this knife to wage war against all common day objects. DIDJA HEAR THAT, MICROWAVE?! YOU'RE GOING DOOOOOOWN!

  • 3:13 dont fuck with that kid

  • when will there be a video of the sk5 version of this?

  • press and hold 5

  • That Pig chopped in half was epic ! A++

  • who needs scissors when u got cold steel's natchez bowie

  • i want my body to be used for cold steel testing when i die!

  • I have always wanted to learn how to cut a deck, and now I know how.

  • this is mostly sharpness?

i reckon with enough sharpening most knifes could perform like this...

  • @123ilovecake321 gotta have some weight to do this kind of thing. Also, it's very strong.

  • why are there no skinny people in any cold steel videos

  • @TheBskids Skinny people don't cut as well. They mave less mass, which means less force.

  • lol you have a pretty good point

  • 3:40 - 3:45," *crunch, crunch, crunch* ", MY ribs hurt just watchin.

  • LOL is the fat red guy in the mirror reflection doing the success meme of Freddie Mercury?

  • I checked the price ,,son of a glock,,$469 ? That is almost as much as I paid for my glock in 2007 and it shoot 15 bullets.lol.

  • I lived in Natchez ,Miss. and The Armstrong Library there has Natchez Democrat newspapers on microfish that go back to before the civil war..I saw drawing from the newpaper of men practicing throwing thier giant bowie knives at a tree..That is a hellova weapon but if you can throw it ,,its awesome..

  • mi bowie cant do tht how much does tht cost it iz sick ill pu it n mi collection mi samuri swored probly can but mi bowie cant

  • somebody really hates pigs...

  • Look at the fat guy in the reflection 1:29

  • I must say Lynn has a great voice for these videos.

  • Think of all the havoc you could wreak with this thing. If someone hits a tennis ball in your yard, cut it in half. If someone's playing poker on your lawn, kill the cards. If someone drops a coin, stab it . If someone's looking up a phone number, cut the phone book in two. If someone's carry a liter of soda, slice it and make em wet. If a ship's docked with that rope, cut it and send the ship loose into the sea. Cut the bamboo before the panda eats it. In all seriousness, this knife is badass.

  • rambo's 3 knife

  • @ 3:11 NGIEEHHHH!!!!

  • @ 0:47 hey wanna play 104 card pickup?

  • ''This is why you carry a big bowie knife. This is why you carry a 11½ inch blade bowie knife. Becose it makes looooong cuts like that through 15 pound blocks of meat.''

I understand the concept of self-defence but isnt it a LITTLE bit exagereted here?

  • Now thats how you cut the deck

  • so i started out dissaproveing of the fat dude in black sweating all over knives but as i watch more he is awesome

  • @hillbilly8175 The fat guy is Lynn Thomson, the president of the company. So of course he gets to be in the videos.

  • im going to un creative and un original but it is something i would want to see sooo...but will it blend?

  • Has anyone ever visited their site? All of the knives they sell are VERY expensive. But i guess quality is worth that much. Also what are in those black bags that they cut open?

  • @Arizonakiller7 Kevlar sacks filled with meat.

  • @Arizonakiller7 Yes, their knives are expensive, but they're chump change compared to some (besides, you can often get them MUCH cheaper elsewhere). Want a Benchmade Gold Class? Better be willing to shell out anywhere from 7-800$ to 1000$+. Want a custom knife from a well known knife maker? Best be prepared to drop a couple thou on it. As for the black bags, those are motorcycle leather filled with chunks of meat meant to simulate the human arm.

  • @ChishioAme ok thanks but the bags arent the closest you can get to a human arm.

  • @Arizonakiller7 I never said they were; I just said that's what they use them for. Personally, I'd rather use a hunk of ballistics gel with a dummy skeleton inside it.

  • @ChishioAme i agree

  • 0:46 Lol 104 card pick up

  • now thats a knife mate.................

  • 1:06 he seemed kinda lazy... I guess you could say he was...

    *puts on sunglasses* Cutting corners.

  • Ya, no doubt about it this knife is bad ass, it's also 500 dollars and not a very practical knife

  • 3:52 Why does he seem like he's enjoying every second of that? O.o

  • 3:13 - Son of a fat guy?

  • @BratOtto666 Son a rich warrior that happens to be fat.

  • He split the rib "Pretty easily" When they slow motion it, it looks like he's taking the most painful shit of his life.

  • i asked my grandfather why are so many chuck norris jokes but not bruce lee jokes

    he said

    -cuz bruce lee inst joke

  • Wow

  • 0:45, "Cut the cards!" lol

  • I want to work at cold steel, you get paid to chop shit up :D

  • @magnum1165 i heard they have great bbqs =D

  • I'll admit, even though I hate most of there other stuff, this I like, the 2 by 4 test was good as well as the rib test and ACTUALLY DONE IN ONE SHOT, not bad at all.

  • they waiste so much good meat on this show!!!!

  • @594keithd they don't. they preserve it and donate it to different places
