Absolutely beautiful :) ...and people don't believe me when I tell them I was dancing throughout my labor,(at least as long as I could)lol. Dancing (mideastern) is very healthy for pregnant women and it helps the laboring process...plus gives you something to keep your mind on while you are dealing with the pain.

I may be very late in replying to Grimgirl, but no, Belly dance is actually good for a pregnant woman and her baby. Albeit, there are some moves that have to be modified or can't be done at all because it could cause harm to the mother or unborn child, but for the most part Belly dance is a very good form of exercise for expectant mothers :)
