overpriced unneeded stage. Euro's are nuts to buy into this system they use. They cut logs down into 4 foot chunks, 2 chainsaw cuts from what they have. Split the 4 foot chunks in a huge log splitter THEN cut them to length using a device very much like a buzz saw or cord wood saw.

All anybody needs is a pickup truck, a chainsaw and a splitter. These PTO powered mid-stage devices you just flat do not see in the US at all. Not at all.

@jacktheripped Kinda need to clarify a bit; two chainsaw cuts from having 18" rounds to split.

I don't understand. Do they do it this way to save wear and tear on the chainsaw? Replace a $600 chainsaw with a $6000+ cutting device and oversized splitters? You can but a lot of chainsaws for what you have to pay for these mid-rigs :P
