  • "I love a little tong action". Oh lord, I do so heart Nigella.

  • lol "I love a bit of tong action."

  • she seems more honest (yet serious) in the olden days of her shows. now she is very flamboyant and fun. i think that has to do with the fact that she's so in her element now. either way, i adore her use of words....i get food and english orgasms because of her!!

  • i always thought the beginning of this show was so artistic and beautiful

  • When i heard the words "I like my beef really underdone" she is now considered by me to be the greatest woman that has ever lived :D

  • "i love a bit og tongue action." lol she is naughty by accident.

  • I love her home. She doesn't live there anymore, neither do they film her shows in her real home anymore. I love her either way.

  • She looks different with straight hair.

  • she's beautiful. but she looks prettier with extra weights!

  • I loveeee Nigella, but I wish she'd tie her hair up!

  • i love it med done.....better...

  • she is wonderful:-)

  • "all tiger stripes. yumyum"

  • "and you don't need to tell me if it's hard that it's well done." That's what she said.

  • "I love a little bit of tongue action"

  • @Maribelleification "tong" action, referring to the tongs, right........

  • She's not as fun in Nigella Bites as she is in her newer shows.

  • @MrZebraZombie She filmed this series during and directly after her husband's death in 2001. She herself said: "I took a fortnight off. But I'm not a great believer in breaks. I am not against pity, but I have no desire to be tragic" She kept filming the show to keep herself busy. This might explain her matter-of-fact demeanor here.

  • @Anjoel22, I forgot about that, it makes perfect sense.

  • @Anjoel22 wow that actually explains a lot...i thought it was just due to lack of confidence or ease in front of the camera but the 'matter-of-fact' demeanor does make sense for someone who is grieving yet still wants to remain strong and push through.

  • I don't like my steak quite as rare as Nigella does, but I like it to be quite pink in the middle, at least medium. I'd probably do it 3 minutes a side or so, instead of 2, otherwise it looked perfect. I've never made sauce bearnaise before, but it sounds good.

  • Thanks for posting!
