  • Yeah!!Excellent vidéo!!look my vidéo with my dog skates!!

  • I WANT A HUSKY!!!!

    GREAT VID DUDE!!

    LIKED&FAVED<3

  • I do it with a great dane, so you can all bring it B-)

  • If my husky gets older,I want to skate with him too. But the problem is the streets in my neighborhood aren't as straight and smooth as the one in your video. You're going very fast,i like it but I'm a girl and i reallyyyyy don't want to fall off the board -.-

  • Sweet video and cool dog!

  • alaskan husky is a mix husky with wolf hybrid, and this husky doesn't look nothing like a wolf hybrid, alaskan husky's are bigger and fluffier. sorta like alaskan malamutes

  • @XxBryanWolfxX alaskan huskys have no wolf/wolf hybrid in them, as wolf hybrids are illegal here in Alaska. ( as much as some of them look like wolves and how cool it would be to have a wolf hybrid) hey are a mix of husky and anything that has the drive to run fast :)

  • @taggarung then that wouldn't make any sense that they call them alaskan husky's since original huskies are from siberia??

  • wow you're dead when you fall off :P

  • make some more videos!!!! please bc ike is awsome!!!

  • Wow, you are so brave. I get nervous when i run with my husky because she is so fast but that is insane. Cool vid.

  • WHO NEEDS A CAR WHEN YOU HAVE AN ALASKAN HUSKY AND A SKATEBOARD! like this if you agree.

  • Im down to race. I have often thought about that and I wonder if anyone will ever organize an event. If they do I will be there for sure. Or if anyone wants to really do it let me know. I will do my best to help.

  • Dude this should became a national dog/skate/longboard sport! Dogs from all over the world come together with their owners on a old highway and RUN LIKE HELL, race. Sound good? FUCK YEA!!

  • great way keep dog in shape lol

  • that looks so fun! Wish I could stay on a skateboard for more than 5 seconds without falling off

  • Just wanna say @ huskies, I was always told there is a big difference between working huskies and show huskies. They both are purebred. We have pits, they can very kuch different, though many are purebred, some are bulky, some are runners,... If you ever look at true mushing huskies,. they don't look like the hollywood huskies, lol.

  • Sweeeet video... I too am figuring out how to egg ours on a bit, both young and we are putting dibs on who will decide" to be the alpha puller. We use an x-back, "dogboarders - dogboarding" page on facebook (adminned you, ray) has some discussion threads with links on where to get some harnesses for those of you looking around. Mnan your pup looks SO into dogboarding.

  • @bojan1607 We were told when we bought him from the breeder that he was an Alaskan Husky.

  • @finefugitive yeah there isnt a breed called alaskan husky its kinda a made up breed so to speak. basically siberian husky's as good as they are, if x'd with other dogs can be much better sled racers. so people started x'ing huskies to make a much faster sled puller but keeping the husky attributes that make it perfect for harsh weather. these dogs then got given the name alaskan husky's. an alaskan husky can be a husky X what ever,

  • @finefugitive yea hes an alaskan husky :) i love huskies they are so cute :)

  • i advise using wrist guards, at least!

  • @valarmorr2 I'm 29 and have been skating almost daily since I was 8. I appreciate the concern but that's 21 years experience on a skateboard. I'm as comfortable with it as walking. I also rock super soft wheels bought especially for doing this so I don't catch on the odd rock... Knock on wood.

  • @finefugitive remember that most of the falls happens because of excessive confidence. im an old skate board as well and i guess u know what im talking about, the more practice u have more careless u are

just saying... still funny as hell (i also have a husky btw) :P

  • Nice. You should try this with a longboard as well. You can go much faster and will have much more stability. I do this with my german shepard (half white german shepard and half black and tan german sheperd, so he has a husky resembalance). By doing this and pushing forward with my foot while my dog also pulls, we can go 40km/hr or 25 miles per/hr on flat areas. Downhill even faster (almost 50km/hr max for a short period).

  • @Orash111 I like the idea of a long board but we do 90 degree corners at full speed sometimes and I'm just not sure I could do that on a long board. Sometimes I'm power sliding.

  • Comment removed

  • @finefugitive get a smaller longboard then. I have a Globe cruiser that's about 31' with good wheels, bearings, etc. Still smooth ride and since I have a slight tail on the end I can still power slide like a regular board. I also will take my boy out when I have people riding bikes with me. He runs twice as fast trying to keep up with the bike! He ran at as fast as he could for 4 straight miles. I didn't have to kick once.

  • @finefugitive That would be amazing with a longboard. Trust me. Sometimes I get my girlfriend to pull me with her bike on campus lol. But yeah, you can slide pretty easily on a longboard with the right setup. And they are sooo carvy as well.

  • @bojan1607 my girl is a pure-bred and she's skinny. we live in a place where it gets hot in the summer so we had to give her a buzz in june. this guy probably lives somewhere where it's hot year round. huskies are skinny anyway. you might be thinking of an alaskan malamute.

  • odd question but how did you use the camera while on the skateboard?? i do "husky boarding" too but cant seem to figure out the best way to hold the camera!

  • hey, what kind of harness do you use? odd question, i know haha

  • @bubbly384 Im not sure of the name... It fits around his front shoulders and the leash connects in the middle of his back. Its comfortable for him and doesn't put strain on his neck or breathing. He likes it. He cant wait to get it on.

  • Try training him to run on the grass beside the road. He won't wear his pads down as badly and he'll get way more traction.

  • @jessejamesb Yes, very good suggestion you have posted. I tried to get my dog to do this for a while, especially when riding downhill in steeper places, because he could not keep up with me. I think it is also because it puts more impacts on his legs, so he does not want to go so fast then. One day it just clicked for him and he was able to then keep up with me always, even when going 40-50km/hr downhill. The nice thing when they run on the road though is that it keeps their nails trimmed. :)

  • @Orash111 Yeah Ike goes pretty fast. The cops set up one of those speed cameras on a trailer near the house and I have footage of him pulling me 22mph. Waiting for it to snow so I can finish my next vid i plan on putting the footage in then.

  • @jessejamesb He doesn't like running in the grass. Ive tried. He loves the open road.

  • Fuck yeah!!!

  • Huskies are awesome, and fast!

  • lol cool nice vid

  • Awesome!

  • Nice vid man lol
