Hi!! I am just learning slide guitar. I love blues, play about nothing but blues, and so far all I have been able to play is Eric Clapton covers of Robert Johnson. Now, I am not complaining because this is great guitar, but I want to play other stuff too. What do you tune to?

Kirk..what the story on your strat lookalike? Its awfully brown but has a killer sound. Is it a strat or ?

@ellonysman ... yes, it's a Strat. I bought it second-hand in 1973 in London. It was Baboon's Ass Pink when I got it, which I hated, so I stripped it back to wood. I also did the headstock, which is why there's no logo there. Seymour Duncan was the guitar tech at the shop, he set it for me and became a friend and member of my band.

Kirk is incredible, thats for sure, however, after the amount of years he put into crafting his skill, hes done well. A long time playing have ya Kirk? Id guess, oh.....maybe 30 years?
