The plane is empty because it's most likely a late evening flight. As for the accent, he is definitely either Australian or British. Just because it's an Etihad Airways flight doesn't mean the pilot HAS to be Arabian. He could be American for all we know. My thing is, what is so interesting about his announcement? I saw and heard nothing funny in this video. The plane looks cool though. ^_^
