  • i have a question. how would this help people with autism?

  • your dumb if you buy this. lol thats why there if freenaturalreader.

  • dude, i saw it in apple store, i had some fun with this app even tho i can speak and have no problems.

  • I wish you or someone would make some apps for autistics on the android. I can't afford an ipad but was looking at the android marketplace and there wasn't much in the way of communication apps :(

  • @angelachristineh you can do the iPad challenge. Go to thepuzzlingpiece website and sign up, you can win one if you do the fundraiser :o)

  • lmao i got this for free off hakulos

  • WTF?

  • LOL, 189 dollars my ass.

  • @stupidjunk978 Certainly cheaper than a $6000 Dynavox which does the same thing.

  • My non verbal son loves his Itouch, I have just found this and have downloaded it, he already uses PECS - we are using the IPOD to communicate already using photos. I am so excited about this :D

  • Follow-up, downloaded it worked great, I quickly gave my son a demo- I showed him a symbol for "toilet" - a little while later I noticed the Ipod was wet?? - I am convinced it had been down the loo! - I sometimes forget autistic kids are literal thinkers :(. Its currently sitting in a cup of rice to dry out. fingers crossed I can get it working again. Luckily I managed to back the p2g software up to the PC phew!!!

  • lol you had to pay thow i didnt

  • This is the first time we hear of this issue. Are you sure you have set your iPod/iPhone up right and let it sleep if not in use? You may also want to make sure bluetooth is off. Also, could it be that there is something wrong with your iPod battery?

  • It sounds like you are using an old version. The latest 1.1 version delivers instant response.

  • the voice is good, but to expencive ($149.99)

  • @osx101 daaaang.......

  • There has been a lot of talk about this on Facebook with parents of my son's syndrome, which results in limited speech ability.

    This is revolutionary.

The last AAC device I bought my son cost 8 thousand dollars Cdn., just a few years ago.

  • it's too expencive

  • You must understand that products like this typically cost $5000 upwards. So compared to that, I'd hardly consider $149.99 for the software and $229 for the iPod "expensive". :D

  • "Recents" is a huge win for AAC. You're right that AAC users work hard to construct messages. Why go through all that effort more than once?

  • Thank you for this video, I hope to see more tutorials on using this incredible AAC Software kit you've created! I am really excited to see something like this, thank you so much for your hard work on Proloquo2go, it's definitely the best thing I've ever seen since sliced bread!
