@EMYDreadnaught geothermal power is, currently we have the tech to build geothermal plants everywhere where there is volcanic activity. CA is the leading state in geothermal right now i think.

Solar is good too, with just some financing into the matter and research funds, we can harness solar power. i know there was an EMT study that said less than 1% of the sun's energy if fully harnessed can power the earth indefinitely (until the sun runs out lol)
