  • I have always been a big fan of the f-4u. Nice vid

  • Do not get this plane. Don't let the price fool you. It is way to underpowered and the center of gravity on this thing is ridiculous. The 370 size motor is not enough power to fly this thing. And the flight time with the stock motor is disappointing. Don't get me wrong banana hobby is a very reasonable site. I'm just saying to avoid this plane, take it from me, I waited two months for this thing to arrive to canada from california, and I can tell you right now, I did a horrible choice!

  • this cossie must be moki engine for scale sound, btwbad video

  • Want to be able to fly a plane like this? You need to practice on something that's crashproof, and learn to fly with no fear.Check out the killerplanes channel on youtube and look at the Hawkfighter- we'll get you in the air and KEEP you there!

  • Gas Pilots- Your self righteous verbal skills you learned from your fathers before you wont save you in 18 months. Repent and realize people in your past were wrong. Not one of you will be flying when it all happens.

  • 18 months left-- No one will be flying

  • Yeah, Check out "Big Prop H9 Corsair" on YouTube. "Julc3" makes the 3 blade propeller.

  • Everything looks good except for the 2 blade propeller. There's a guy on here that makes authentic looking 3 blade corsair propellers.

  • No, it`s not...

  • Not to be mean or anything, but does anyone else find the announcer really annoying?

  • @mattxr2i thats why i dont watch football games lol

  • AEROplane, not airplane....

  • @mybluebelly Actually both ways of spelling it are correct

  • I have just advanced from my step 3 to step 4 rc plane, and I am building a P-51 Mustang... 79" wingspan, and a .61 evolution engine. I will post videos when I get it up and running, but it may be a while since winter is here now, but it is going to be so fun!! Nice Corsair...

  • 3 blade prop please

  • Good job of showing all the planes!

  • did you start your hobbie whit a simulator or just a airplane?

  • @marioruv94

Back when I started we didn't have simulators. Wish we did though. I would have cracked up less planes. We primarily relied on having a proficient pilot backing us up on a buddy box. Someone that could take control when we got in trouble. Now, even after flying for many years, both RC and real planes, I have a simulator. Actually I have quite a few. If you want to get into the hobby, get a simulator. Nothing will prepare you better than stick time.

  • @marioruv94 usually you start with a beginner airplane which is made out of Styrofoam because it's cheap and easy to replace if you crash. Then you go to these airplanes which are made out of balsa wood.

  • 4:30 Wings Of Fury :-)

  • that planes probably like over 1,000's of dollars :O

  • @LoudLech5 go to a hobby store and you will find one cheap

  • i wonder how many bansai cryers went swimming after encountering this plane :)

  • Very cool video, please share it with other pilots on RCPilotsOnline . c o m

  • o mg guns

  • Corsairs were in fact 3 blade prop planes

  • Does it do the trademark whistle when it dives?

  • Wow that seaplane F4U looks delicious!!

When I saw the gunpoints I cried a little tear of joy and jealousy.

  • @rocksparadox You can run the 4 bladed props on the Moki Engines...

  • man im a private pilot but flying theese is 10 times funner!

  • very nice plane but take out the pilot. it just make the plane look just a tad bit better (more realalistic)

  • Next retard that calls these toys, I want them to stand on the runway, while I fly a 45lb plane at 120 mph right at your empty skull! Let's see how long you live after your body is mutilated and burned. one reason you need a AMA membership that covers death and injury just to fly one.

  • blah blah blah that guy can't be quiet...

  • WOW. cool.

  • Thats one mean corsair man!

  • shitty landing god geeze get a life you people thesse are toys. just a childs play thing. how much are these like 20 bucks at toy r us

  • @riddlebrandan

Yes they do sell toy planes at Toys R Us. There is a difference between hobby grade and toys. The smallest plane I see here looks to be a 1/5th scale which comes out to about 84"s. I'd say minimum investment here would be $1700 if they build it from kit form. A lot of time to build is put into them and I'm not talking a week to a month.

  • @drksydss holy crap!! so what if you crash it?

  • @riddlebrandan

If you crash, you're SOL. It comes with the hobby, might be your fault, might be something you can't control. Basically, that's why the announcer is going through the rules. These planes are big, at least 20lbs for the smaller ones in this vid and spinning 18+ inch props. If any of them get out of control and head toward the crowd, it could be fatal. Like it or not, the rules are there for safety.

  • This is Chowchilla Ca. 4 years ago, the first year, a great weekend, I was there.

The next 2 years sucked due to weather.

This event is happening right now at Castle AFB in Atwater Ca, I couldn't make it.

  • Horrible editing!

  • the corsair is very nice, but it need a 4 blade prop. good job

  • looks awesome how much he cost?

  • must have!

  • Love this aircraft, there is no words that can describe how beautiful it is!

  • I wish you stop zooming in and out all the bloody time with your video though....

  • how long is your corsair????

  • you idiot, want to talk to a ww2 pilot talk to me asshole, I know young turds just like you, just want the attention, because you dont know shit about it. want to play,????

  • @bandytrc, "want to talk to a ww2 pilot talk to me". Okay, I'll bite. What unit and what theatre? If you weren't there, don't say you were, asshole. It's called Stolen Valor.

  • @riddlebrandan

I guess it takes a fag to know one huh? These are real planes dickhead.

You spell like a homo too.

  • @scv405 no thier not dumb fuck thier gay ass radio control toys

  • @scv405 your a homo!!!

  • @riddlebrandan

Is that all you've got, fag, homo and gay ass? Seems to be a common topic with you, wanna suck my cock? Or maybe you're too busy getting humped by your boyfriend.

Of course they're real, or are we imagining them?

  • @riddlebrandan 1. A real corsair would cost a lot of money

    2. Alot of us do know how to fly real planes in fact a good flying buddy of mine is a retiered crop duster, "pal"

    3. Have you tried flying a real plane or an RC plane for that matter.

    -Good day to you sir.

  • @AFA7356 yes i am a rc pilot and also a private pilot working on my instrument. i go to spartan college of aeronautics im in a professional pilot program. so suck on that bitch!!!!!

  • @riddlebrandan well good luck on the instrument its not easy and since you seem so very smart are you going to become an airline pilot like me and I do have respect for you since you do have a pilots certifacte but seriously don't talk like you know everything when you don't no one knows every thing and by the I could have said many rude things in response to your previous entry but instead I gave you wisdom. Don't start with me boy.

  • @AFA7356 look im sorry i cant even remember why i got into an argument. actualley to be quite honest i get bored some times and go to random youtube pages and say stupid crap so yea no offense im just being real with you. but yes i do go to spartan and i have my private working on my instrumen. well i still feel like i dont know anything even though i have my license i still feel like a dumbass pilot

  • looks like the actual jet when its up in the sky .. lol

  • who's the asshole with the mike!

  • beautiful Corsair. I'd almost be afraid to fly it if it was mine.

  • Most of these amount to the same question!

(1), (2) & (3) are answered (at least for me) thus: A scale model aircraft is a work of art in it's own right, even sitting still. The very fact that it can fly and that it takes skill to fly it properly and realistically adds to the enjoyment of creating it. A builder can take a stack of materials & build any aircraft he so desires, flying it can recreate moments of lost history & gives the builder a great sense of satisfaction & excitement (cont)...

  • Many say that RC model pilots are frustrated full sized aircraft pilots but that isn't necessarily so, my father was an aeromodeller AND a full scale pilot, I am also. If you really love aircraft you want to be surrounded by them, big & small, add that to the innate pleasure derived from creating something with your hands & the excitement of risking it all to your skill & reactions, model flying is irresistible & great fun too. You can take it as far as you like, most modellers don't compete.

  • @pete2778

Why does someone feel that RC model pilots are frustrated full size aircraft pilot? Please explain!! :)

  • @applesweeter, this is just something I've heard people say, I don't agree with it, nor do I agree when people refer to scale RC models as 'toys'!

  • In answer to question (4) - Why does anyone compete at anything? Horse riding, dog showing, throwing darts, racing cars, swimming? I think we all know the answer to that, some of us want the satisfaction of knowing we are the best at what we love to do. I've never flown competitively though, as I say most modellers don't, for most of us, just flying our own models is satisfaction enough!

  • @pete2778

What do you feel if your RC aeroplane prototype design become a real aeroplane by commercial aeroplane manufacturer?

  • @applesweeter, there are enough ARTFs on the market, most of which feature design compromises which adversely affect their appearance and/or their performance. For me, building something different and unique with no concessions or compromises appeals far more. If you mean, what if a full sized aircraft was developed from a model prototype? A scale modeller is reversing this process so it's not a viable proposition - The full scale aircraft already exists!

  • great looking corsair. does it have a real radial engine? If so what size?

  • nice

  • Yep, ITS JUST FOR FUN, STOP TAKING IT SO F*CKING SERIOUSLY!

  • Wow that thing looks mean...

  • The guy on the speaker either is a lawyer or has severe control issues.

  • I agree... Someone cut the microphone cable and tell the announcer to shut up so people can enjoy flying and not so many rules... thats why i fly in private fields where no "control freak" can express his a*#hole opinions...

  • awesome

  • Nice ! Cor they`re a good size too eh ! :)

  • Its a hobby people. Its fun. let the guy have his fun

  • But they aren't toys, Its a hobbie, Its not about the blood and gore, Veterans gave there all to provide us with life as we know it, I guess you can consider these war birds a tribute to them.

  • @LegacyForce I keep telling my wife they're not toys, but she's not buying it.

  • @LegacyForce Its all a matter of opinion and Ive been flying these things since I was a kid, but I consider them toys. yeah I know old post, and its spelled hobby.

  • @LegacyForce That is a good way to look at it. Well said.

  • @LegacyForce Yer i agree! I think little electric parkflys are made as toys but the nitro big stuff isnt, thts why i fly the nitro stuff rather than the small electric stuff :L

  • i think when he built that bird, he didn't think about veterans or war - its just fun to construct and to fly (and maybe to be adored for)

  • dude -10 thumbs down on your comment

  • Comment removed

  • looks like great fun

  • holy chesse and mack the guy on the mike have all the rules listed or does he just spit them out off the top of his head. great flying and flim btw

  • oh wow nice plane, that things like a static model!! :o

    Nice work!!

  • The Corsair was awesome. Nice eng. sound.. Weed whacker powered?

  • announcer is a buzz kill ... 2 many rules

  • those arebeautiful planes flys well too

  • Best Rc Airplane Vid ... Nice i have an Fast 3 and he works very well ... :D ...

  • ALL I GOT IS A BIG CLUMSY SHERMAN TANK

  • Great looking plane, but i would have a 3 blade prop, (adds more detail), and looks more realistic.

  • @WebsterFlyers Actually, a 4 blade prop would be correct. He is mostly like using the 2 blade to get more rpm's.

  • You're right but the engine used wouldn't have the required torque to turn a scale propellor without a gearbox. Often, scale models like this are fitted with a 'static' scale propellor on the ground & a smaller, two bladed propellor for flying. Petrol model engines rev quickly. Some scale model enthusiasts have been fitting large brushless electric motors that don't require gearboxes & can turn scale propellors but these are still relatively new technology and hence expensive for big models.

  • @WebsterFlyers

The F4U used a large 4-bladed prop. RC planes have to compromise for aerodynamic requirements at the lower speed envelopes in which they operate. You'll see broader and thicker profile wings typically (but not always). This would extend to the type of prop since the engine torque & RPM's would dictate.

I would have used a 4-blade prop for static display. Switched it over to the 2-blade for flight.

  • THIS IS AWESOME.. dream plane :D

  • Is that made of legos? jw

  • duh

probably wood, carbon fiber or plastic

  • linkin logs

  • I think I am building the same plane! did you get it in kit or directions? if you got directions then I need to know how you cut the balsa because I am having A LOT of trouble

  • Try an X-Acto knife... Or a Bowie knife... maybe a chainsaw... an oxy-acetylene torch... perhaps a samurai sword??? One of these should take care of it!

  • i already tried that!!!!

  • F4U啊 很漂亮的飞机

  • SO MANY RULES! At my field when we have an IMAA event we can hover wherever we want and do any manuver.

  • well, you gotta have saftey, what if you stall your plane/ heli on someone? their just doing their jobs to make sure no one gets hurt

  • I enjoyed the vid, but honestly, you should consider getting a tripod for your camera. Love the corair.

  • how much does one if those wiegh?

  • Depends.

    Around 88KG

  • sick plane....dodgy edit! :)

  • Is this an ARF, kit, or scratch built plane?

  • Scratch.

  • shut up! what rubbish!!!!!!!!!!

  • learn english!

  • guat?

  • jajajajajaja

  • wow amazing so am i! lol

  • wtf there is no offical video of it flying! 0/5!

  • p 41

  • Can I do 3-D in the box?

  • realmente impresionante. este modelo de avión ha sido mi favorito por décadas y este es con mucho el mejor modelo a escala que he visto.

  • awsome

  • To state the obvious, that is beautiful.

  • ok.........

  • sin duda uno de los mejores aviones que hay en el aeromodelismo y muy apreciado

  • precioso

  • Hey this is a terrible video, your lucky I even

    watched it.

  • Gotta love that GeeBee Sportster.

  • U can load this one with bomb and fly it into presidenst house :o!!

  • that was a retarted comment

  • You're right; that would be such a horrible loss..

  • dont have time for your sarcasim

  • It wasn't sarcasm!

  • The secret service is now watching your account.

  • can you please tell me what would be a good trainer for a newbie? thanks

  • hell yea man!! that bitch is hugE!

  • go to devonport footy trust me

  • Great planes and pilots, but I really would like to know where these events take place, I live in Yorkshire in the UK and I just cant find a source which tells me where they take place and when, surely there are some in Yorkshire, with all of this countryside.

  • dont know any in yorkshire but one i go to most is at shuttle worth. look it up

  • is big

  • how much are the jet powered ones cost?

  • think of it this way: the jet engine (alone) is between $2,000 - $6,000. so yeah, they are expensive

  • now thats a big toy!!!! awesome job!!!!

  • toy? dude, this is a friggin airplane

  • Great Job!

  • Super job on the build one of the best ive ever seen...well done

  • same as mine :)

  • Very nice modle

  • those are my fav type of airplanes.

cuz they plane in the air__

  • those are my fav type of airplanes.

cuz they plane in the air__

  • retard

  • hey its just a question - one that so far nobody as been able to answer.

If your answer is simply 'retard' then i take it that there really is nothing interesting about this?

  • Wow you're too witty for me, don't find it interesting, don't bother watching, and certainly don't waste your time commenting. SAD really the people who only like to leave lousy comments on vides, very SAD. LOL

  • If i was witty i would have just called you a retard - thats wit.

So I guess you still can't tell me what is intersting about all this? If you can't handle negative comments maybe you shouldn't read these comments at all. I mean I wouldn't want you to get offended now.

  • nice plane nice detail
