@KiraC91 This attitude reminds me everyday about how fortunate I am to have learned Japanese. It is sad VN sales in the US are terrible enough and the download and not pay attitude just makes it even worse. Just imagine if everyone actually bought the VNs rather than downloading them for free we could introduce people outside Japan to great VNs they are missing out on like Amagami, Toradora, and Papa no Iukoto o Kikinasai.

@Llayoko I agree with you 100% I'm always so thankful that I learned Japanese and so glad that I discovered the world of Otome-ge <3 <3 I avoid DLing aswell and buy them despite the costs but they are worth it, I'm still some what optimistic that this might the game that could bring Otome-ge into the west, just like it took time for Shoujo to come to the West.

With the Vita launch getting all the hype this month, games like this are probably going to be buried a bit which is kind of unfortunate because I'm all for more of these types of games getting released in NA. I love the Sakura Wars games (got 5 when it came out a couple years ago on PS2) and even though this game is probably more geared towards a female audience, I'm all for supporting it so we might get more games like it in the US. Props to Aksys Games for publishing it here.

Alright, for you people new to Visual Novels: They're basically choose your own adventure books, in game form. This specific one is an otome game, a romance game for girls. The points of this specific genre is to end up with the guy of your choosing. Hakuoki specifically is extremely wordy, and long. A lot of people call it boring, if they're not into that sort of thing. So if you hate reading, try a different one like Corpse Party. Any questions? PM or Reply.

For those who don't understand what type of game this is (or cant read, i think, German), its a "visual novel". This game is the equivalent of an advanced version of a choose your own adventure Goosbumps books. Don't bash them. They are quite good, but are as much a game as a CYOA book.

@frinchboy you play as a female protagonist and chase after one of the guys basically by making the right choices. It's a visual novel game where you read a bunch of text until you come to a point where you have a make a decision. depending on the choices you make you can get bad endings or good endings. you also have to keep track of the guys' affection gauges too. Besides the game, there's also anime on it too
