  • Wow, what a cadenza! Fantastic! Why aren't you touring?

  • Awesome playing!! really impressive. I learn from you.

  • im performing this on horn next week!

  • o fuck i have to play this in a week -.-

  • can anyone email a copy of this song to me. lladnar01051991 at hotmail dot com.

  • good cadenza! the way you speed up like that on the arpeggio thing....

  • Yes, props to you for a VERY impressive cadenza...

  • Carrying over from the last video, on every high note some of these really long sixteenth note runs, try to hold it out a little bit longer, and more of a suspension, because it doesn't make sense to chop that off especially when other notes that aren't as important sound more important.

  • dont give him a thumbs down because he is giving criticism. even thought i would love to see him do better. :P

  • ok its not a fake any way who cares...

  • I keep telling myself ill be that good if I keep praticing... its not showing though... Im not even half as good... though I started this year xD

  • ...are you stupid? i bet this guy could do 50 times better than you. can you even play this solo? this guy is amazing.

  • i was referring to Wizari, not humbone some calm your horses...and yes he is amazing

  • oops my bad. not only did i not understand, but i think i was having a bad day. haha.

  • he does breath....after every phrase

  • lol looking back at JazzM's last comment, I just noticed that he hardely take any breaths. But since I do know that he is playing the right positions and there are some flaws that fit his emboucher I know that this video is not a fake. This is just and FYI for those who may thing it is a fake.

This video is once again very very good. I see a soon to be Christian Lindberg lol. But just a tad less dramatic =) lol

  • amazing. really good job! - from another trombone player.

  • i was there when he receorded this video.. jazzmangr you are envious!

  • i watch his vids a lot and i am still amazed at how cleanly and precisely he plays the cadenza in this vid, its sooooo good its ridiculous, i was gonna say humbone, he better play professionally, hes one of the most amazing bonists ive seen for his age.

  • this video is 100% true,, the guy in the video is matteo de luca, he's 21 years old and now he plays in the verbier orchestra in switerland.

  • bravo !!! you are the first trombonist in the world thatcan play without breathing

  • hahaha, good joke jazzmangr, thats a good one!! hahaha, u crack me up dude.

  • fake 100%%

  • come on, do you really think it's fake? Why would he fake it? It's not even the guy who posted it. And do you think he would take the time to learn how to make it exactly correspond with the music and get all the positions in the right place? I don't think so.

  • With the techniques he used, alternate positions that are helpful, exact sync with the playing, and watch his embochure, especially on the pedal notes, you can't fake that.

  • lol lamtartarus how do u know he can play pedals past D??? he doesn't even play that low in the song. I can play pedals down to F with a beastly sound, but if i go Fb it doesn't even come out, altho i am sure this guy could rip pedals a new one haha.

  • this gut is a best...he can play the pedals notes past D...without using his trigger!!!! How the hell do u do dat man? I can only reach the Eb in the pedal register without trigger. Anything past that, sounds like my t-bone has dysentery...

  • There is a harmonic below low Bb (2nd line, which becomes 3rd space below bass clef) try this, play that Bb, and lip down to the next harmonic, it requires a lot of breath though, but try it:)

  • Yah, these are called false tones, but they're not "pedal" notes, pedals start with pedal Bb.

  • Those are not false tones. Those are pedal tones. Bb, A, Ab, and G to be exact.

  • Yah, I didn't think he used them either, but I was just saying that playing trigger notes without the trigger are falset notes.

  • Who brought this up anyway. He's playing pedals in the song so why talk about false tones.

    back to false tones lol

the false tone under Bb would be a 4 half steps lower...or at least thats what i've been taught to do. So the false tone under Bb would be Gb i think

  • the note under the Bb with the trigger is a petal F. without the trigger the note under it is a double petal Bb.

  • Amazing! i can only play the young baby version.

  • This guy is a beast at the trombone

and he is probably using a 5g mouthpeice

  • I'm curious to what mouthpiece he is using. a horn like that would probably need at least a 4 or 3. I play a four, and it is somewhat difficult to keeps stamina this late into a song like "bluebells. kudos to him

  • i know what you mean...i play on a 3G and its hard for to keep my stamina up. I play on it because i have thicker fuller lips.

  • how many years do you play trombone and how many hours are you practising per day

  • that was awsome

  • awsome~

  • Man, you have a really great sound and vibrato.

  • The invisible third hands of Adam Smith??

  • what he needs is a small band, like a ochestra

  • I had a nice recording of this by joseph alessi, sounds much better here though. Very Nice

  • So good

  • At 1:18, is it really an A? Because I always heard it with a pedal F, anyways, You've got an AWESOME tone! Search "practice" in the dictionnary and you'll find this guy.

  • it's an A

  • I really like your tone! :)

  • very very nice

  • now this is good
