I find that this band's instrumentals are much more epic than their vocals. Not that the singer isn't awesome.... But seriously; these instrumentals are amazing! I'm loving all their songs before i even hear Kosmas.
@MrMig3: AA=Amon Amarth. And yyeh, I know Omnium Gatherum since 'The Redshift', pretty nice piece of work. You may try further 'Menhir' by Canopy and, a bit softer, Dreamshade's new 'What Silence Hides' (especially the song 'Eternal') ;)
When god and satan clash together into a final battle for the destiny of humanity and life itself, this music is going to play in the background. I`ts gonna be sweeeet!
@NoCatsInMyHouseLol Don't expect the "epic clash of god and satan" to happen any time soon. Don't expect it to ever happen actually. They're just imaginary puppets created and used by criminals to control blind idiots.
@Assdafflabaff I was just in the moment writing that comment :D But yeah, I agree about that if you mean the church. I actually support all religions, and have absolutely no problem with anyone religious, If they don`t try to make me "belive"... I find all religions have SOMETHING good in them, such as good values, but as soon as the institution(church) starts taking advantage of the people that believe, I think it should not be supported in such a way. Also, have you heard about..*next comment*
well if youre talking about religion which is the most probable option due to the information given by you, i agree, but its bettter to be discrete scince sometimes the ''truth'' can really upset people
I love it.....Its sounds like a mix of opeth and Amon,....but without the commercial sound of amon ,....idk its strange....i fucking love it, nobody as ever though of a riff epic as the 4:15 one
@IvanillathunderI Lol i stumbled upon insomnium just about a year ago, and now that i've found Be'Lakor i've finally got something to listen to while insomnium's in the studio
all i can say is...be'lakor will always be one of the two kings of metal. the only one who surpasses them is insomnium. none will ever come close to the POWER of the ALMIGHTY BE'LAKOR
Really digging Melodic Death, before I was more into Technical and Progressive ala Cynic and Opeth. But I really like Be'lakor, In Mourning, listened to Swallow the Sun, At the Gates, Barren Earth. Not nearly as complex as Technical or Prog Death but certainly very beautiful and brutal.
I got into melodeath with this band and I am just dissapointed...No other bands sounds like them. And don't give me Insomnium or dark tranquility. They are NOTHING like similar.
Ugh... once again Games Workshop comes back to haunt me lol...
Be'lakor is a daemon from the Warhammer (Hordes of Chaos) Tabletop games. From the looks of it i'd say Warhammer Fantasy, but possible for Warhammer 40k
Nonetheless, second metal band in my list that is inspired by Warhammer lol.
@Eupackardia haha it does to me too. A lot of bands do it, Amon Amarth means "mt doom" in the Elvish language in Lord of the Rings. there would be more.
@EarthernCradle whos AA? and if you didnt know them, omnium gatherum is also very fucking epic, the newest album, OMG its simply undescribable, listen to everfields or souls journeys or new world shadows, by the way new world shadows is the name of the new album
damn you favorite button for not working at work.. (FAVORITE)

@dcdarrbare Ofc, my opinion about AA is that they have few epic songs, but the rest simply sucks.

Imo one of their best songs. Love it. On another note; the beginning of the intro could slip right into the new Deus Ex.
