  • So, why all the dislikes? jealous much?

  • This is the FIRST VIDEO ive seen on you tube where someone is actually teaching how to ride PROPERLY! The very first thing to do is friction zone, then a power walk. Yes this is big bike to learn on.. but in comparison to all the other videos out there? Good JOB dude. your probably an RC?

  • @polivo0111 Thank you, i appreciate that. I wanted to teach her the fundamentals that most people skip. If you train with the proper tools then its actually easier to learn and harder to make mistakes. Always safety first on a bike, and mainly a bike like this! She never even touched the gas because i told her not to, she wanted though. I got rid of that bike a couple summers ago so she never got the time to learn much more. I just got another R6 though, time to teach again.

  • Wow thats very clever teaching someone for their first time on an R6 when she should be learning on a 125 or something smaller.

  • @Dectheboner Says who? She did just fine. That R6 was my first bike and i did just fine, i even have another one now. Not everybody is the same. If you have the common sense to ride a motorcycle, then a R6 is fine to learn on. As you see in the video, she has that common sense and did fine. That was her FIRST TIME EVER on a bike and everything went well. I got rid of that bike, but she will be learning again on my 07 R6. Some people got it, some dont.

  • @xxsekoxx I know man all i'm saying is its a high powered machine and a person could get hurt but it's cool man. Be safe brother

  • @Dectheboner Thats why we stayed in the parking lot and i told her to give it no gas, i do understand what you are saying.

  • lucky you, i tried the same way with a (ex)girlfriend. She didn't listen and yanked on the front brakes, tipped a little to far and dropped it :( luckily my bikes a pile of shit i bought for 700$ so i wasn't worried because nothing actually broke lol

  • @yteka99 Yeah that sucks man. She did good for her first time, she really did. But on a later practice session she got on the bike, put up the stand, and dropped it! So i guess you never know when it is going to happen. I need to buy her a cheap bike to learn on! I caught it from falling on her, but doing so i broke the mirror and damaged a couple of things up front.

  • how much is that bike ? cause i really wanna have my own bike even second hand if i have money lol....is it cost maybe $4000-$10000?

  • @jayr122001 Easily, I bought this one for around 4,000 with i think with 10,000 miles. If you can come up with 6k-7k you can get a really nice bike. But if you want to save money, you can spend 4k-5k and still get something nice like this one.

  • bravo! oh and good job on not being a squid and wearing all your correct gear. but wait, can girls even be squids?

  • @MrMechill Squidet maybe?

  • u dont ride a bike dumbass.... u ride...

  • @tenchiCBR Aren't those pocket bikes???

  • its not so much that its " hard " its a break, throttle, and a clutch. The thing is, if you fuck up on a 600 its going to hurt a lot worse than if you fuck up on say a 250. Were talking power and weight. Most people dont have the ability to have the natural talent that you and i have to learn on a 600. Good for you though.

  • I learned on my friends cbr600rr special edition (graffiti) and it was fine, I wouldn't say people "shouldn't" learn on a 600.. it's not too hard

  • Thumbs up if your first bike was an R1!!

  • @donlon77 as you can see, you got not 1 thumb up, because they're all DEAD

  • @bringerofrage I ride for them all!! Even for the broke bastards who want R1's but can't afford them.

  • Should make you feel pretty lame if you're a dude on a 250cc.

  • @donlon77 I see what your saying but a 250cc is exactly what a lot of people need for their first bike. Now people like you and I.... R6 and R1 is just fine as a first bike! I did take riding courses though, so i could get my moto license.

  • @donlon77 but what if youre (i'm) only 14 years old and the biggest bike you (i) can have is a (ninja) 250 (r) until you (I) turn 16? most confusing sentence ever...

  • She should NOT be learning on this bike.

If she makes a mistake, it won't forgive her.

  • @DonZaloog88 Yeah i realized that a few weeks later. Most people cant handle an R6 as their first bike. I however am one of those that did learn on an R6 and was just fine.

  • More power to you mate :)

I'm just glad you (and your gf) didn't get hurt from your first couple training sessions. One slipped twist of the throttle would've hurt. But she's wearing gear, so props to that. Shows responsibility!

If you get into vlogging, I'll subscribe ;D

  • @DonZaloog88 You don't run the world, you can't really tell her what to do. ALOT of people start out on a 600 and are just fine. Respect the throttle and the bike, it will do the same. (P.S Dont fly down a main road at 134mph when the speed limit is 25)

  • @Linkz14 I don't NEED to 'run the world' to know that it's silly teaching someone on a 600.

There's a difference between being afraid to TWIST the throttle, because of the power it will give out - and being able to RESPECT the throttle.

Anyways, it's a bad idea overall. Just my 2 cents

  • @DonZaloog88 I hear you. Yes, it's a bad idea. But some people only have that option you know. I learned on a 600 because I couldn't afford (literally) to start on a small bike, outgrow it and buy a next one so I ad to buy a bike that I'd have for a long time and I was just fine. But I understand you though.

  • i mine only very cool i like r6 very nice bike brother

  • @germanbikerboy88 I'm not understanding exactly what your saying???

  • Is the R6 faster than the R1???

  • @TheLetsShow No its the other way around. R6 = 600 CC R1 = 1000 CC

  • @xxsekoxx Ok ty. I was just confused because this R6 looks faster and bigger than a R1.

  • @TheLetsShow You must still confused

  • @TheLetsShow You should see them next to one another.

  • @TheLetsShow It depends.... I find that in tight close cornered roads the R6 eats the R1 but on the track or on long straights the R6 is slower....

  • @TheLetsShow depends on the rider ;P

  • ive NEVER rode a bike in my life..and here is the shocker..nor a manual transmission. got on my buddies 2007 R6 yesterday...ignoring the normal 10-12334 stalls lol i actually got into first ( which i hear is the hardest part lol ) and cruzed through 2nd and 3rd NO CLOSE CALLS :) dont know why i felt like sharring but i did lol i feel as long as you have respect for the beast between uyr legs (insert penis jokes) your fine. only show offs and people not paying attention wreck lol - cheers mate

  • @kphillips012 Your right man. Respect the motor between your legs and take it easy at first and listen to a experienced rider on how to begin riding.

  • @xxsekoxx Never more true... Im 16, got my first motorcycle (suzuki gs500) and have respected it every time i have gotten on it. So far I have been 6 months with no close calls nor problems on it. Being sane with what you are doing, and knowing that the machine rules will keep you safe, but you also have fun.

  • @snooter28 Right on man! wish i had a bike when i was 16, good for you! Sounds like you know what your doing. Keep it safe and on two wheels! ( for now ) haha

  • @kphillips012 I have to agree man

  • I'm buying my first bike soon, Never rode one before. I was going to get a R6 as my first bike but everyone keeps saying it's to strong for a first bike, so I guess I'm going to get the 2011 Ninja 250R then trade that in for a R6 when I know I'm ready.

  • @vickfan203 Everybody says that but its not entirely true. It really depends on you. Ive never ridden a crotch rocket before my R6 and i had absolutely no issues. I took it to parking lots the first month and took my riding class as well. Get an R6 man. If your naturally athletic and have common sense than you will be fine. If you get the 250r you will be bored with it within a couple months and regret you didnt get the R6. Trust me man! Take it easy at first and you will be fine!

  • @vickfan203 That's what I was told, that the ninja is the best bike for the ladies, especially the beginners- which is what I'm looking to buy now. Good luck

  • i rode an r6 for the first time today, i just got back from the ,hospital. id never touched a bike before and i popped the clutch an slammed the gas. i went strait off the rode into a ditch and i have a broke wrist and dislocated hip

  • @d3v0n2534 Oh man that sucks, i am sorry to hear that. Whoevers bike it was should of trained you a little bit better. My girl never touched a bike before this video either, but i trained her properly. Good look on a quick recovery man.

  • @xxsekoxx i appreciate it, yea ur girl makes me feel like a little bitch watchin this lmao

  • @d3v0n2534 It happens all the time man, don't kick yourself for it to much! Its hard to realize how hard it is to control these bikes until you do it. Unfortunately some people ( as yourself ) learn the hard way! Hopefully it doesn't stop you from trying to learn how to ride.

  • haha....Well you had to kno it was coming.

I have an '09 Ninja 650R. It would be a good bike to learn on, although it does have a bit of torque off the line. That said, I don't let her near it. It's covered in expensive plastic. LOL

  • @midnightnavyz28 Nice bike! I guess i learned my lesson....... girls are meant for the back of bikes! Just dont tell THEM that!

  • @xxsekoxx

Yeah, it's fun. I'm looking to upgrade to a true sports bike now, though. I'd love a Kawi-Green ZX6R :D

  • @midnightnavyz28 Yeah that would be sick man! I sold mine and i am regretting it everyday!

  • Go already.

  • @midnightnavyz28 LOL It was her first time ever on a motorcycle!

  • @xxsekoxx

    LOL

    Still, props for being patient.

I don't have the patience to teach my girl how to ride my bike, she used it all up when I taught her how to drive my 6-speed Z28. :D

  • @midnightnavyz28 Haha i hear ya man! Not much longer after this video we went to a different parking lot for more practice. Not 2 minutes into it...............she dropped the bike!! That was the last time she touched it!

  • sweet

  • First time learning on a R6!!

Keep up the good work by now I presume you have your own :)

    Take care Ride Safe x

  • @mlgf0ursh0tt They said the pizza at your work sucks. Ive got my eye on you.

  • @xxsekoxx haha dude your are so weird i see how you got that ugly girl and cant get anyone better.. everyone knows your dumb and lyin

  • @mlgf0ursh0tt Do you realize your calling somebody ugly that you cant see? That shows that your a complete idiot. Come on dude, you work at a pizza parlor, you cant be that smart. You wish you could own a bike and have a hot chick to ride it. But you never will, you will always be a loser driving a Neon that works at a pizza place. I am sorry that your lame bro, and if i makes you feel good to talk shit on Youtube... then go for it, whatever works for you. I'm here for ya kid.

  • @xxsekoxx Hey seko hahahha you know what his name means??? mlg?? major league gaming. He just sits in his couch, plays xbox, and eat pizza.

  • @Armando17717 Haha i didnt know that. Yeah that dudes and idiot. I shut him up real quick though. At least he can hook up all these girls he gets with free pizza from his work! Fat girls gotta eat too!

  • @xxsekoxx lol hahaha

Hey man I saw this video in the recommended videos and Im undecided, gsxr or r6??? I dont knooooow :( I want one. Its going to be my first bike. Any suggestions???

  • @Armando17717 Haha that was my exact issue and i went with the R6. It really depends on personal preference, which bike fits you better. Try them both out, see which one is more comfortable. Performance wise...they are BOTH great bikes. The R6 fit me better, plus it looks better i think!

  • @xxsekoxx I love how the R6 looks but I sat on it and its high for me I'm 5'7. I felt like a dwarf. Gsxr was a little lower and it was good But I love the r6!!!!!!!!

  • @Armando17717 You better go with the GSXR then. It would be very uncomfortable trying to balance the bike on your toes!

  • @xxsekoxx hehehe ok

  • @xxsekoxx BURN !!!!!!

  • @mlgf0ursh0tt So your one of those guys who browses Youtube videos and talks shit. Is that really the only thing you have to do? You can say my girl looks like a man all day long because the fact is you cant even see her because shes wearing a damn helmet! I will guarantee that she is better looking than any girl youv'e ever touched little guy. Go to work and flip another burger and make $50 and stop wasting my time.

  • @xxsekoxx accually i work at howies im 18 so i make pizzas haha but i be gettin sexy ass girls that arnt manly

  • @mlgf0ursh0tt So your just a zit face loser kid who has nothing to do then to go on Youtube and talk shit on video's. If you going to say somebody looks a certain way, then next time, do it on a video where you can actually see the person. Your pathetic kid. You dont even know what a woman is yet! boy do you have a lot to learn! Good luck to you in life, so far..... your not doing so good.

  • @xxsekoxx :D

  • Thats really cool. I plan on attending Motorcycle School in February and will start on something like a Chinese Huanan 250cc. (Cheap bike thats rather slow and won't be missed if dropped).

Hope she learns fast and gets her license!

  • very fun))) why not 9.59 min???

  • R6 is so powerful for her ,you have to teach her on something else...even me a guy cant learn on something powerful like this

  • @dreambox85 I started on a 600 just gotta crawl before u run!!

  • hey how is she doin now???

  • @stuie195 Well on a different day trying to practice she dropped it and hasnt touched it since.

  • @xxsekoxx well that sucks, ive dropped my ninja 650r on the first day i bought it, but now i ride alot.

  • @xxsekoxx Yeah the R6 is just to much bike for her.

  • @xxsekoxx poor r6;/ U should buy her gs500 or other 500. She destroyed great bike, its sad.

  • @FiFiGiN88 Yeah, that was her first time ever riding a motorcycle. She actually did pretty good. She wanted to go fast, but that wasnt happening!

  • Get her a honda xr80 and let her figure it out.

  • @tl1000rlt Yeah she has the basics down but just needs something smaller
