What he does, is he puts the amp on a high gain setting, and puts the volume on the guitar to about 2. The guitar then doesnt give out enough output to give a distorted tone, but when it is put on full, is gives the full distorted tone.

How did your set your amp up to sound like that? I just bought an ibanez starter pack and have yet to really figure out how to set it to sound like this?

it depends of what amp you have. the one he has is probably much better than yours, because a starter amp have around 15 watts and that one have 100! ;)

cause your amp is around 15,- and this one much more.

but try the drive/distortion button and set gain to 10.
