  • There's already an alternative, semi-green power source I believe in and it's called Nuclear Power, and it trumps all the others, coal, wind, solar, oil. And it's never cause a single fatality well at least in this Country where We know what we're doing.

  • Global Warming, does anyone seriously still believe in that anymore?

  • It is to short it should be longer! you guys are so funny! :D

  • LOL

  • Rubbish...

  • i have no idea what the hell i just witnessed, but it was awesome.

  • Yes, enough of this untested, gee-whiz technology. Let's stick to the tried and true, like nuclear fission. After all, why waste time and money on clean renewable energy, when we can just dig more holes going after another limited resource, then dig yet more holes to bury the resultant deadly garbage? Fifty million Frenchmen can't be wrong, can they?

  • My sound isn't working. This is still funny as hell. Who knows, maybe its less funny with sound.

  • hahaha AWESOME!!! Caitlin & Kate, I love at the minute 2:21 !!! Great dance! Ciao Caitlin! You're a Genius. :)

    Hugs from Italy!

    Stefano

  • You gals are really good together, a duo with chemistry. And a fine message too.

  • WHY ON EARTH WAS THIS MOVIE MADE?

  • to show how meaningless the human race is in this vast empty universe we live in.

  • to make me fall in love with Cailin Hill. it worked

  • what ever happened to hill88

  • I dont quite know. Maybe she had enough of youtube.

  • or kidnapped by Aliens , omg they could be probing her right know ,

  • Wind turbines cause epileptic seizures in people and if they are around farms (which they often are) they cause animals to spook and give sour milk. My aunt's and the surrounding dairy farms are suffering badly because of a wind farm put up in between their properties. (On land that they were forced into selling by green legislation by the way.) Not a big fan of wind power.

  • Wind turbines cause teen pregnancy. They stole my granny's land and sold her into white slavery. The cows only give egg nog, and the chickens' shit turned purple. The aliens don't even make crop circles anymore. Wind turbines are from Kenya, and make up fake birth certificates to get into our country.

    WAKE UP, AMERICA!!

    NEW IS EVIL

    CONSTRUCTIVE IS COMMUNIST

    SENSIBLE IS GAY

This message brought to you by Real Americans Rabidly Against Anything Helpful

    (RARAAH)

  • Wow! Sorry for voicing an opinion different then your own. Bringing another side to the story on how something touted as being perfect has caused my family to lose substantial amounts of money that we didn't have to lose in the first place! Im so tired of every time someone speaks out against something backed by the democratic party they are immediately labeled an ignorant redneck or some satanic figure in a suit sitting in a darkened room plotting against the lower class. Honestly it's not so

  • Dude, that's spooky. You psychically divined everything that I was thinking, even though I didn't actually say any of it. I didn't even know that I was a Democrat; I thought that I was just allergic to inflammatory nonsense.

It's true, you've been horribly victimized. Your right to an opinion does not give me the right to an opinion about your opinion. It must be the wind turbines taking control of my mind They've given me liberal epilepsy, so I no longer give a crap about cows..

  • I never said that you weren't entitled to an opinion just don't be such a douche about it.

  • Yeah, man, ease up. Ignorant alarmist shitkickers need love too.

  • wind turbines cost shit loads of money to maintain

  • A: Am I the only one who found 1:35 suggestive?

B: Global warming or not, more OPTIONS are better. Burning fossil fuels will get more and more expensive until we figure out how to speed up the process of the natural break down of organic material into oil.

I'm all for wind and hydroelectric plants. As well as increased private use for solar energy built into homes (assuming the proper areas)... although solar's more expensive, I believe.

... More importantly, they have cool accents.

  • Prove to me that global warming is human-made.. then we talk..

  • Why? Do you have some kind of governmental influence?

  • 5% of the CO^2 in this world is made by man.. Do you really think that this is the reason we all feel like lying down and cry for help? Absurd.

I'd rather look at sunray activity, which has shown to has alot more precise influence of the global temperature than something as silly as CO^2.

And no... im not under govermental influence. -_-

  • No I meant why should I bother with trying to convince you? You quite clearly:

    1. Don't understand the facts. Otherwise you wouldn't have brought up the suns influence, since it has be factored into all major climatology models since the 70s

    2. Are nobody of either commercial or political influence and therefore of no consequence as regards who needs convincing.

  • At least my education proves, my correctness regarding the subject. Have a good life, sir..

  • So you wish to ignore my first point?

All current models include the suns influence as a factor, and in fact if you care to look at the data you will see that over the last 10 years or so the suns output is in a downward oscillation and so is affecting climate less. Yet the global system is still heating up.

Your "Education" has you at best misinformed and at worst lying about the facts. Good day to you sir.

  • my dad sales them :)

  • LoL - Girls like you two are awesome.

  • holy jesus....she ate the ship.

    WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOW!

  • I Love this one, I heard on the news they're talking about a windmill farm in the Chicago burbs

  • You and Kate are the best

  • I love being weird . We have so much more fun that other people :).

  • You sound ike Repeaters !

  • funny and educational..you guys should form a dance group and be the lead dancers. Cool moves!

  • Hi, nice video

    cyberman

  • this video is hilarious, you two should really consider starting perhaps, a sitcom? =D

  • I suspect if these women were not attractive they would just be locked up.

  • Ah summer in Gt. Yarmouth, clouds, sirens and wind. That takes me back...

  • A mini sun in a bottle should solve that problem.

  • 1.50....OM NOM NOM NOM

  • so is the obesity epidemic

  • yeah so is the universe. beware.. the media is always trying to fool you ¬¬

  • making new energy? thats not possible...

  • Girl, you crazy. ;-)

  • at first i felt like i was watching one of those public service announcements they show at schools

  • Actually, wind energy is still to expensive. Most turbines over here (nothern germany) are turned of, because normal plants still produce enough electricity.

AT least your vid gave me a good laugh anyways ;)

  • But in the US people seem to be afraid to use nuclear power the way Germany (and France, Switzerland, etc.) does. It is a strange paranoia for a people who want to be free of dependence on foreign oil... just my two cents on this cute video...

  • Give me the chemicals and poison.

  • Wow! who would think a Hill88 video with under 10k views?... she used to be so popular.

  • But the French are gay.

  • I loved it! I really learned a lot, and I LOLed.

  • I wonder:

Are wind turbines very noisy ?

    THX (Mick)

  • i live in a land locked country....how would i know anything about "whales"

  • go to school?

  • cant you 2 just make out like normal girls :)

  • Were you high, seriously? xD

  • hahaha that was random and great lol wind power rocks ^_^

  • Im disapointed :(

  • Oh my Gosh it's funny and "educative" hahaha 5 starz

  • where was this filmed? looks like canada, but how can that be lol

  • Awh, I appreciate your videos! Thanks for making them. Nice lighting that you used when you were recording it (; haha

  • I think we should just make one big turbine for all the world's power. We could build a massive wheel/water wheel in outer space, so that it touches the equator and as the earth spins, the wheel/water wheel spins and the wheel has a massive turbine attached to it that makes electricity.

You just have to time your crossing of the equator correctly or you'll get squashed like a bug.

  • That was an awesome video, you had a blast (of wind) :)

Speaking of wind turbines, was it a UFO that hit one in the UK and broke a blade clean off? I saw it on the news the other day, but they never really concluded anything. The truth is out there...

    &eB

  • Cool, my sister in law is trying to set up wind turbines across the U.S. and gets the coal pirates after her at every stop. Wind turbines!!

  • aha, love it x

  • Oh geez this was awesome!

  • Nuclear and Clean Coal is the answer.

  • i disagree as i would not want to waste perfectly good heavy metals & coal for making domestic electricity. But then earth has too many people for it to support them having electricity

  • Coal is nasty, and nuclear outputs nasty waste that still isn't dealt with well. Another problem with nuclear is the possability of meltdown. Not to say that it will happen, but it can happen (see Trinoble). I live between two nuclear plants (Darlington and Pickering) If there was ever a meltdown, I'm fucked. And there has been issues with one of the reactors at Darlington.

  • "What's the surest way to screw over future generations who will have to deal with the mess we make in our own selfish short-sightedness?"

I'll take Pig Ignorance for $200, Alex.

  • that was the age of empires sheep noise! wooo!

  • sounds like a lot of hot air.

  • you look like a wale when you ate the ship

    i dont like wales

    i dont like you

  • learn how to spell Whale you effen idiot before you make fun of popular people, you loser...

  • gosh...your cute

  • oh my, how I love Kate.. xD

  • You two only get away with speaking with annoying voices coz you're both really hot. Otherwise this video would just be annoying.

  • 好可爱的MM,我喜欢

  • but if we used wind for energy then the oil companys wouldn't make as much money. and if they don't sell oil, then the gov wont get thier tax money so..... great idea but it won't happen :\

  • Well - then you're in really big trouble, since oil is predicted to run out sometime, not so far away. So then the oil companys can't sell anything...

  • we use windpower in my country... (smartass wink * * :P)

in the good old days you used to live near a beach...how awesome is that!?

  • you two girls look like sisters

  • It's a shame that Americans have a "not in my backyard" mentality....

  • It's a shame that you just grouped all Americans together.

  • I stand corrected, as I lump myself into it, and that's incorrect. Then again, I did not say all.... nor did I say some. I appologize. I'd rather have wind towers than oil rigs on Lake Michigan.

  • Funny, you don't speak so "intelligently" on the vid I just viewed for a few seconds. I hate fake internet intelligence.

  • Woa woa calm down... this isn't even our channels. I wasn't putting you down.. You were right to call me out... and you had a point. LOL I agree that I should not have lumped all Americans together. I'm sorry if you felt threatened... that wasn't my intent... and No I don't have lot of knowlege in green energy. But you don't have to insult somebody... I didn't insult you directly.... if at all.

  • I am calm, I just felt like insulting you.

  • HAHAHAHA, I'm dying! Funny AND informative!!

  • Caitlin

    you sound like Blinky Bill

    ^_^

  • Isn't it great to be so carefree?

    Footloose and fancy-free *sigh* =)

  • hmm, could submit this for college credit

  • That was very cool, indeed. Genuine.

  • Great dancing, btw. haha

  • Wind Turbines are a target for UFOs!!!! It's true! Read The Star!!! No way no way, manamana!

  • how about we burn the homeless for fuel?

  • hahahahahhaha @ 1:45

  • how bout the mother feckin aliens crashing into the wind turbines eh? didnt think about that did you!!

  • that were the good old days...

...and i hoped so much that this time we would finally see "the kiss"...

  • Awesome. If you ever come to England again, can I come and hang out with you guys? I'm relatively cool, plus I like wind. And coal. And...uh...WAVE POWER!

  • Diet Sunkist burns your sinuses when you laugh too hard, just to let you know.

  • WOW GREAT YARMOUTH IS AWESOME

  • ...are you guys dating?.. i sure hope so XD

PS: Looking forward to the video ;)

  • fun and educational! if they ever do a remake of bill nye the science guy, you're my pick to play him!

  • british people talk like that inside their mouth is a banana

  • lmao awesome

i wish you would make some more funny sketches like this and your older vids your good at them :)

  • BTW: have you and Katers17 got any more previously unseen footage? You _know_ what I'm talking about! ;-)

  • There is no such thing as a completely renewable energy source - that would defy the second law of thermodynamics.

So if you don't want the Thermodynamic Police after you, you better watch out! :-)

  • I love you both xDDD

  • Oooh that girl is hot!

  • Love how you pronounced the world "COUNTRY". LOL

  • Did some Illuminati prick send you pair of bints a script to recite about wind power propaganda, bunch of puppets !

  • I'm sold. I want to own a wind turbine of my own. Maybe I'll put it behind my house, so it can get cut in half, YAY!

  • STUFF:

( looks up and to the left, contemplating the possiability of this becoming the leading video that appears during a wind turbine google video search. )

Thanks for throwin this back on the barbie Catlin. Its actualy one of your better camera/editing/acting 'thingies'. ( turns head and smirks like a stoned george lucas )

    <3. Ryan Westalke.

  • Hey I remember that on kate's channel ;)

  • best line of the whole video "Now I make the wind!"

  • Have moves, will dance for food!lol

This is funny. Except that it reminds me that I got coal for x mas. he he

  • thats a pretty crappy beach

  • to bad they are only 25% efficient

  • lol!

    that is wonderful.

  • I was like "what wind turbines behind them?" And then i clicked 'watch in HD' and i was like "OMG I CAN SEEEE THEM!"

  • Best part is at 1:18 !! Jeeze, in those days, '06 thru '07 you must have gone everywhere with your camera.

  • now that's just stupid

  • yep these things are all well and good but over in the UK flying saucers keep hitting them and the government blame it in secret stealth aircraft....yeah right

    .

    .

ps do you read these comments ?

let me now if you don't

  • i love this so much kate! it was fun and educational... you should make some more though i know this one is qutie old. good job!

  • LOL

  • Seems like you were having fun :] Good video, girl.

  • Im british, and why is it that when people from other countries talk to british, they sound so damn british?

  • What?

  • "No they're not! They're pretty twirly daisy things!"

    I love this.

  • Great video, I've seen pictures from this...

  • AWESOME..just AWESOME!! :D

  • Haha Chole is my nickname just like coally girl lol

  • lol that was greattt :D

  • "OH NO! It's coally-girl!"

  • Caitlin, you need to audition to get onto dancing with the stars.

  • i loved katers video of u 2 so now that i hav to im all better from being ill i love u both

  • wy dont u go work with barny u well

    entertain the children

  • Yup ... wind energy is a great alternative in areas where the wind blows 24/7 as is solar for sunny states ...

  • wind turbines are a good source of energy. they're just not a 100% reliable resource

  • and if it is not windy? There is not wind everyday.

  • put it buy a large body of water, there is usually wind there due to waves and it will store it up so its ok if there is like no wind for 3 days straight. and usually its only for half a day were there isnt much wind by an ocean.

  • OK. What if you don't live near land. I seen field of those things not moving for days. They are not reliable.

  • Those turbines you saw were out to sea where its always windy.

  • That's some good stuff right there.

  • The concerns about noise can be reduced by keeping the turbines away from homes and businesses.

Unfortunately they failed to do this here in Canada on several occasions, resulting in cases of "wind turbine syndrome". :-/

  • Haha nice video. =] Miss you Caitlin!

  • Look at Caitlin doing the background! She's funny.

  • OK ladies, how much glue DID you eat in school? LOL Well done.

  • I approve, randomness + pirates hats = win.

  • hill88 and katers, fun =)

  • Does anyone know whether the

    us4earth . org

guy has a new website or e-mail address?

  • frolicking

  • Wind Power

...switch off the mind and let the heart decide, who you were meant to be...

Dolby rules and so do the two of you!

  • I remember it was two dapple-cheeked kids, much like yourself, who were used to sell safe, clean, too-cheap-to-meter nuclear power in the 1950s. Sparkle and her slightly slower pal, Jane. But that was an old educational film run at lunchtime.

    This is much more fun.

  • wind power is a joke. to conpensate the time they donot function, which is 75% of the time! AND GUESS what the rest of the time u need carbon based fuelz, which u all know realeses too much carbon dioxide. The furutre is in nuclear, which wastes are manageable, or solar power... But wind being a lobby (profitable business) its a hoax...

  • moitoto78,

    Nuclear fission was the past.

It was too expensive and too dangerous because there is no way to handle the waste safely and nowhere to put it. The whole of humanity now is spending all its resources trying to stop the spread of nuclear technology to rogue states and terrorists.

    It's bankrupting the world.

  • yeah but only in the weapon sense, nuclear energy is actually really efficient

  • How is infinitely expensive efficient?

Without nuclear energy, we wouldn't be about to invade Iran and killing who knows how many tens of thousands. Forget the nuclear industry's talking points. They're all barmy.

  • I love this! :D

  • whats all this about?

  • The answer is Nanosolar power. Check it out! It is awesome.

  • that was shit

  • lol, great video. and i agree with robwithab - what's this stuff all about? :D

  • This is quite tragic.

  • I started to get a pain in the chest looking at this.

  • Luv the dance Caitlin!

  • I love your accents :)
