  • LMFAO? f FUCK Vevo !!!!

  • is this john norum from europe playing on this cd for don. don's one lucky man to find such a great guitarist as this.

  • love the killer riffs on this song the guitar player rocks out just like george lynch did wwhen he played with the band . sometimes it takes a fallout to in the band to get better.

  • thanks man for the info about the car / to jackalopegto

  • Don Dokken can put together great talent and make it work!

  • What's that 27 fret guitar that Billy White's playing? His part of the solo starts out with a Les Paul, but it changes to something else (the tapping part). The headstock is reverse strat-like and not a Hamer Californian.

  • I love Lynch but the combination of billy white and John Norum is epic! Musically this whole album blows any Lynchmob album out of the water. Don may be a shady dick but you cant deny his ability to make some captivating tunes.

  • @DivaXGore --Well said, and I am even a huge Lynch fan as well......the guitar work on this album is epic!

  • @DivaXGore disagree man the first two albums by the mob were my favorite albums every song is a classic, Love Don but to me he's never had the most powerful voice it sounds good but it doesn't really project like oni or Robert

  • @Metalborn69

Lynch Mob just sounds like a bargain basement version of Guns 'n' Roses to me. George has exceptionally bad taste in vocalists. This solo Don Dokken album is like the follow-up to Back for the Attack that never was.

  • @xRazorFistx I don't understand if you like the 80s style how you don't love Robert Mason or Oni Logan they are exceptional singers, but Rob is the better of the two and he's doing a pretty good job fronting Warrant

  • Not that it matters but this is don dokken solo no lynch thats john norum from europe and this album came out in the 90's Dokken though have to say has never changed his sound and thank goodness that someone hasn't.

  • Mickey Dee on drums ?

  • DOKKEN IS STILL ONE OF THE BEST BANDS IN AMERICA.

  • don's is a very talented man. DREAM BIG OR GO HOME EXACTLY .

  • what kind of car is don driving it's as cool as shit man!!!

  • @TheRickc67 The ragtop is a 1964 Chevy Malibu.

  • The Band is:

Billy White (g) from Austin (search youtube for Billy White Trio to see what he did after DD Band

    John Norum (g) of Europe

Mikee Dee (d) played with King Diamond before DD then with Motorhead

    Peter Baltes (b) of Accept

  • Toomy Chong in the open classic...

  • omg. Dokken...amazing....ahhh. lol

  • the song is great definitely but george lynch is not in the guitar

  • its so funny how the beginnig part was so random

  • Mikkey Dee from King Diamond on drums also motorhead

  • Hot Hot Hot Hot !!!

  • Too bad this line up didn't last

  • D.Dokken is very similar to Joey Tempest!!!

  • People who say George Lynch 'is Dokken' need to listen to this record. Sounds a hell of a lot more like Dokken than Lynch Mob does.

  • I think it's also the Guitarist from Accept too.

  • Comment removed

  • All I know is... fuck all the dumb shit!!!! Don Dokken is the shit!!!!!! The older he gets the sexier he gets! He's so got it going on!!!! The rest of Dokken is the bomb too! I love them all!!!!!! George Lynch kicks ass!!! Mick Brown kicks ass!!!! Jeff Pilson kicks ass!!!! In no particular order! Dokken ruled in the 80's and still rules in my world!!! I'm stuck in the 80's!!! And never want to leave!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! The best music ever!!!!!!!!!

  • john norum on guitar here thats cool

  • this brings me back to an era of music... i wasnt around then but i likes it anyway (:

  • i like this song first time i have herd it.....

  • dons best work!!

  • who's the guitar player D:! ...

  • @HipsterVicious 1 of them is John Norum from sweden. ex europe.

if im not mistakin the drummer is also swedish.Mickey Dee now motorhead.

the other dude on git??..no clue

and isn't that Peter Baltes from Accept on the bass.

  • @HipsterVicious The other guitar player is Billy White from Watchtower.

  • only the owner of the videos (it is rare for the band to own their videos) can post the videos but thanks 2 you theiving bastards infringing copyright.lol.

  • George Linch is on fired in this one.

  • Always liked this tune, his solo album was pretty good.

  • Don Dokken has never failed at getting the greatest arsenal of musicians. MTV was the best music channel back in those days. Too bad political correctness & greed destroyed it. Rock will never die, because legend bands like this, worked their asses off to make the charts, with no margin for error. Well, that's my 2 cents. Rock on!!

  • i like this album good i this song give it up when some nights is my best favorite

  • made a tab of this for Ultimate-Guitar(dot)com they had a powertab that was accurate but no regular tabs for iPods. So hopefully they approve it!

  • haha 4:41 John Norum of Europe in the magazine that Don Dokken holds :D

  • the 80's rock videos were fucking epic...Such a shame we can't get these anymore.

  • @OnTheLibraryComputer The guy in the middle is def. Wyn Davis who co-produced the album with Don and owns Total Access Studios in Redondo Beach, CA. The guy standing could be Eddie Ashworth and the chick on the right Melissa Sewell who were both engineers on 'Up From The Ashes'.

  • Billy White was/is a bad ass guitar player!

Checkout the Flamenco stuff he's doing nowadays. Sick skills!

  • Yea...post YOUR Videos...YOUR music... Not somebody else's and make it yours!! Maybe if you had something worth posting instead of infringing you might learn something... everyone needs to stop bashing Vevo... Not their fault they post better stuff than you... Everyone always wants to REPOST crap, call it theirs, with the bad sound and video quality too... If we wanted to see or hear your crap you'd have your own page, site, Channel, or Station... you could learn a thing or 2 Fool!

  • Just goes to show, Don's voice still rocks regardless who's playing around him. Also, he has the presence of mind to surround himself with quality players to bring his voice to life. I still liked the original line-up best but will not put down this arrangement. Good to see the music is still flowin'...

  • @Stephen0417 ...He better start surrounding himself with GODS now, cause the musicians are doing nothing for his voice now. He is a rip off artist stealing fans money by Tanking on a regular bases.

  • @MrHappyniceboy yes....Mickee Dee

  • @MrHappyniceboy because it is the guy from King Diamond dipshiut,,,,lol...he plays with Motorhead now.

  • To: TheAD. This August, something amazing happens. White and black stereotypes get together again for more Hollywood schlock about everyone lovin' each other and gettin' along, that doesn't influence "the hood" one bit to love us "white mother##ckers" any more or less!

  • no matter what you think of the turmoil the guys were going thru at this time and who's side you take this album is top notch not a bad song on it.this very easily could have been dokkens next record.

  • This album came out the same year i was born haha. I love this album, Micky Dee with that solid tone and awesome drumming, John Norum shredding on guitar and Don Dokken with that perfect voice..best combination. I also love the Dokken albums in the 80's with Lynch, Mick Brown and Pilson..one of my favourtie bands of all time.

  • This song is amazing!! So under-rated. Check out my channel too if you like this. HEAVY METAL ALL THE WAY!

  • Don looks hot!!! Love that 5o'clock shadow.

  • Mickky Dee!!!!

  • STEVEN.. U ARE A GOOD KID MAN

  • dokken was a great band i wish they could just set the past behind and make great music again

  • shit i wish this band would was still together

  • wow. I didnt know there wa a video to this song!

  • vevo = (your choice of words)

  • was that really Tommy Chong?

  • @eandatoo No, it's Don Dokken in disguise obviously.

  • Awesome solo effort by Don Dokken.

  • @ onthelibrarycomputer,im guessing wyn davis and tom zuaut??will work for beer!!

  • from start to finish it don't get no better

  • 1:39 where can i get that badass shirt?!

  • Awesome!

  • I thought you played drums too!

  • Fucking dude from Accept...

  • don, long time no see, from the old school, jane addams, lawndale back in the day, Mr dana C

  • don long time no see, dana c

  • this was a fantatstic effort, I was a huge dokken fan since the early 80's but this is a great album. This guitarist rocks. I have never paid for a ticket to a dokken concet that george lynch wasnt in but this is one cat i would pay to see play gee-tah

  • The fact that it's Mikkey Dee drumming makes this song even powerful !

  • @komputerLuek Dude, Mickey Dee had the hair...

  • its not near the band he enjoyed in the 80s but the vocals and songwriting is still good. great song don !!

  • I hate this VEVO SHIT

  • i have proof that don dokken is the anti christ.

  • @lester5192 And what's then? Rod Halford is gay for example, and does it mean that he's a bad a singer?

  • @deminidze many people also do not know that rob halford wrote the original satanic bible and it was originally called the satanic bible. it had rob on the cover looking through a magnifying glass.

  • @lester5192 pfff Pure bullshit, i have no reason to believe you! Moreover, the only ORIGINAL satanic bible was written by Anton LaVey

  • @deminidze correct :)

  • Comment removed

  • @deminidze so cuz you never heard of it means nobody has? and many people also don't know anton lavey were cell mates with charles manson in jail once for a short time. they made their own homemade liquor in their called Raisin Jack and were planning to market it.

    true story.

  • @lester5192 And did you discover that?

  • @deminidze you may not know this but the discover card uses the word discover cuz there is a satanic message code in that word. if you can figure it out you will see that it spells out 'satan is king'.

not easy to figure out though.

  • @deminidze Weither he did or not, who cares?

  • @lester5192

    prove me then

  • @larsnoorman if you take his name/logo and spell it backwards, upside down and view it from a mirror of another mirror while burning a black candle while you blur your eyes like you’re starin’ straight through the his name/logo. And you keep your eyes unfocused. you will see that it says don dokken is the anti christ.

  • this band was close to to perfect as the blizzard of oz band fuckin' genius

  • a kind of super group but really a band.Love their only album as well as other earlier Dokken albums.

  • @bluetiege Teeny bopper rock is crap like the Biebs, Avril Lavigne or Katy Perry. This is NOT teeny bopper rock

  • @bluetiege Imagine that Mr Dokken like ballads and making money, John like playing hard, he recorded Long Way Home album with him... and they where arguing.. I know that John Left Europe after The Final Countdown haha its obvious. Listen to slipped into tomorrow or worlds away by Norum, amazing albums, great singer.

  • Dear Vevo, Let me start by sayin get your corporate asses off youtube! Ever since these big companies started paying off youtube so they could post their friggin videos we can't post ours. We are flagged for infringement evry time we include a song we like in our videos.

This is YOUtube, the place where we can post OUR videos. If we wanted to listen to music from you we'd go to your damn website.

To people who want greedy corporates gone thumbs up and copy and paste this

  • @poprostudaniel You're able to watch these videos free dumbass

  • @wild1nc20001 You, narrow minded haven't noticed that i can't watch some videos in my country.

  • @poprostudaniel Sucks to be you

  • @poprostudaniel yeah but if we didnt have VEVO we would have to pay to use youtube

  • @poprostudaniel Shut the fuck up.

  • A TOTALLY underrated album - I bought the cassette the day it came out in 1990. Don't get me wrong - Lynch Mob is good too - but I like Don Dokken's way of making every song on the down beat - just like real life.

  • Fuckin VEVO man. ruined my day. look at that behind the screen

  • @PEDROCLASSIC What was behind the screen...Lady CaCa...lol?!

  • Tommy Chong....lol

  • is george in this

  • @mttanzer no . Billy White and John Norum

  • @believer06 That's right, the tone and feel is deceptively Lynch though! I thought it was Lynch until being surprised by the fact that it was none other than Europe's Norum! @adidas331 I concur!

  • @BeardyAirways Both Billy and John play very well. Check out the live version "Don Dokken - Mirror Mirror (Live In Japan 1991) " . Their soloing is even better live. It a shame the band was short lived... We we owe the loss to the seattle grunge to it. I stopped listening to mainstream Rock shortly after these guys came out. It was all downhill from 1990 onwards. Now you have to hunt for good Rock. Thank goodness for Indie. Thats where youll find alot of these guys.

  • awesome rock vocalist!

  • i dint like the new gutarist.george lynch was a heck of a lot bettet.the music sounds better coming from the origional too.

  • awesome tune! don dokken rocks!

  • the solo and outro sounds sooooooooooo lynchesque. i wonder if this was music Dokken had for their next album...just an observation

  • you are so right rks639

  • one of thegreatest vocalist in rock.

  • Comment removed

  • Don Dokken rocks. Take care man

  • another awesome great tune from don dokken.

  • so there's norum and whose the other guitarist?

  • @BullgoesforGold355 Billy White

  • The best Dokken song in my opinion! And he had some good ones with the band, but this solo album was pretty good too!

  • Google Billy 'White' Blanco - 'Dharmaflamenco' to find out what Billy is up to these days.

  • I always thought that this song was recorded with the "original" Dokken line up! This is just like all the 80's Dokken songs. It's nice to see that Don did actually write alot of the stuff in the 80's also. Love this song! Dokken rocks!

  • DAM GOOD SONG AND BAND

  • Norums wife did not die of cancer, she suffered a stroke

  • Poor Mikkey Dee! This had to be the darkest point of his career!

  • @hogangoldberg Why??? I would love to play by Dokken's side!

  • Norum kickin' ass

  • Deinitely sounds just like a Dokken song.Good tune.

  • dokken is rockin'

  • get the queer off the right side of the video (justin bieber)

  • dons bitchin bout the band dokken and how they didnt want to go down the road he was and thats why george split

  • Wow, are you serious? You flagged my crappy camera phone recording of you playing "Just Got Lucky" live, at some shitty dive, as copyright infringement? Seriously? Do you not have anything better to do with your time? I guess not. Lame!

  • is that CHONG in the beginning?

  • bin a fan for years hang on keep putting the music out

  • Great video, but seriously Vevo, do you have to put Justin Bieber's pouty mug next to it?

  • Donald is the best vocalist for this kind of metal. (Y)

  • Maurin65065 gosta de + deste video, fucking hard rock

  • Great job recording!! Thanks!!

  • Kirk Hammett should watch these guys play and learn about vibrato.

  • Don Dokken reminds me of Keifer Sutherland in a way ;)

  • dokken still rocks lovethere songs

  • Fuck you Arcade Fire and ur stupid American Express commercial on EVERY video n YouTube!!

  • this was a great album still listen to it from time to time

  • I miss bands like these.I hate today's commercial music industry. 80's music still kicks ass 3 decades later.

  • Yes Cutie, you have a right to your opinion. I am just a hater because I am a HUGE John Norum fan. I love that Norwegian Stud!! Did not mean to offend you, Cutie ;) LOL @Cuteblondie1972

  • Mmm....mmm, no he is not hot. Don Dokken will be on VH1 classic tonite on "That Metal Show", I love that show.@Cuteblondie1972

  • I love dokken

  • @channelpedronumber6 It wasn't cancer. It was a non cancerous cyst on her pituitary gland called a microprolactinoma. When she became pregnant with Jake the hormones from pregnancy made it grow in size and it cut off the supply of oxygen to her brain.

  • @wolfeyes6 thats so metal

  • @dandamanwitdaplan92

His wife was metal!!~ I was devastated when she died because we lost a metal goddess. Sorry if I was sounding like a know it all but I had to correct the bad info as respect to Michelle.

  • i love the song =] i tend to stay on the george lynch =] but don is awesome too, dokken originally =] i love dokken!

  • That's the drummer for Motorhead!

  • @robincassaday666 Mikkey Dee
