Steve has a "clack" to his playing that is generated from a strong treble plus his strings hitting the fretboard...and he plays by the bridge, which tends to increase treble. It is part of his play style.  I have a similar click, but it is not generated the same way. Mine comes from a bass with a natural strong attack plus I strike the strings very hard over the pickup, also, I do not leave my right hand fingers on the string to muffle in-between notes.

these aren´t actually triplets.. these rhythm consists of an eighth and two sixteenths, that´s why the first note of the "triplet" is a bit longer... real triplets consist of three notes generally the same "length" on a single beat...

Yes, she plays, and pretty good, I might add (I can't do ANYTHING she does on piano). However, she thinks she sucks and has stage fright like you would not believe, so I am afraid youtube will never see her play.

I bought "No Prayer for the Dying" back when it came out, and I swear I went through the album thinking "this blows!". Then this song began, and I was totally into the Maiden groove! If it were not for this tune, I probably would have shelved Maiden forever. That is all it takes for me is one crappy album and I dub the band played-out until I hear otherwise.
