i think anyone can play goku as far as there physicaly fit, can act and are not bored, as goku is an alien and does not have to look like someone in particular, though a more harsh face will work better, really all that goku needs is good scripting acting and physicality.

i know its a very late responce but ive only just seen this whilst searchin around for the possible sequel to Dragon Ball Evolution, Dragon Ball Reborn. And i couldnt agree more, though i was a bit unsure about the characters picked for Bulma, but i suppose either of them are the closest you could get to anime character, i mean how many people do you see walking down the street with blueish greenish hair.

In regards to the actuall movie the only person I think they did a good job casting was bulma.

I'm so tired of everyone thinking jet lee is right for vegeta! Tim Roth is right for the part, don't believe me? Watch him in Pulp fiction, The musketeer, Planet of the apes(new version), and the incredible hulk. After seeing those movies you'll realize there is no better actor for the part.

Now, Vegeta starts to fight, but Babidi gets to him and controls him. Vegeta expels him and uses his new power to fight Buu. He loses too, then goes S.S.2. This increses power more, and he fights buu still. Once he is defeated again, Yamacha, Tien, and Chiaotzu hold Buu off. Then, Piccolo, Gohan, and Vegeta reenter the fight. Then, the spirit bomb is finished, and Goku uses it. This takes two episodes. The next ep, Vegeta Sacrifices himself to destroy Buu, by grabbing him.
So, the fight starts when Goku begins gathering energy, and starts just using energy attacks. Then, K.B. uses some combination attack from dragonballzbt3. The combination takes Goku out of the fight. Ultimate Gohan attacks Buu when he isn't looking. This attack leads to Piccolo paralyzing Buu. Then, Buu breaks free, kicks Piccolo's butt, and Goku gets mad. He goes S.S.3, or in my version a regular S.S. This gives him incredible power, but still loses. Then, he starts to create a Spirit Bomb!!!!!
Two years later, Majin Buu is created, but is created good, unlike in the anime. Goku arrives, and finds an the evil buu fighting Majin buu. Evil buu absorbs M.B. and becomes super buu. They fight, and Super Buu wins. Gohan comes fights, and gets absorbed to. Defeating those two, Vegeta comes, and happens to bring the Potar earing and is wearing one. Vegeta dosen't know that tho. So Goku takes one and puts it on, and they fuse. The twist here is, they beat Super Buu, and shake Majin Buu loose.
In the anime, People get absorbed by Buu and are incased in a cacun in his mind. So Buu went there, then got loose, and Super Buu spits out all the people he absorbed, which was actually a lot, and became Kid Buu. So far it has been thirty five episodes. Kid Buu goes on a rampage, destroying everything. Then,the Z-fighters and Buu are teleported to Supreme Kai's planet. There, everyone is completely away from everyone else. Three episodes later, they all come together and start the ultimatefight
Then, Gohan jumps in and fights, and easily destroys the androids and starts kicking Cell's butt. Then, Cell actually blows on the spot but a shield blocked the explosion. Cell comes back kills Goku and Gohan gets pissed and transforms to Super saiyan 2. The true fight begins. Gohan's arm is completlely blasted off, he does Kamehameha against the Solar Kamehameha and Cell gets distracted and Android 18 grabs him like Goku grabbed Raditz, and the Kamehameha's blasted the two to oblivion.Seson end
trains with K.K, and comes back to earth. Discovers Krillin married an android, is he really that desprate? His son is thrirteen years old, trained in hyper chamber, and Vegeta is a good guy. Cell, androids 17 19 and 20 are on same team, and they fight the Z-fighters. Cell absorbs all androids except for 18, and become perfect. Absobs krillin and yajirobe, Goku goes super saiyan three, or, s.s. 2 in my version, when he gets back, but still loses
then, Krillin gets killed, nearly, everyone thinks he's dead but he's not. Goku gets all mad and goes super Saiyan, but in my version, super saiyan 2 is a regular super saiyan. Then, Frieza gets the crap beat out of him, and Frieza uses to much power, which back fires, and blasts him in half. He only uses full power for maybe five minutes or less. Goku blasts him, but the explosion destroys the planet and kills Goku. He can't be wished back, cuz he told everyone not to then trains with King Kai
Three months later they arrive on namk, and are attacked by Frieza. They fight, and escape, and hide. Three days later, Goku arrives, as strong as Freiza's second transformation, and still getting stronger in the antigrav chamber. Vegeta arrives and fights Frieza, and starts to win. Then he transform, and beats the crap out of Vegeta. Goku arrives after rejuvinating in the machine, an begins to fight. Frieza goes half power trasformation, and the fight heats up. Then friza shots planet, etc

Defeating him rather easily, they countinue for Namek. They get ever closer, when their ship hits an asteroid and is sent for the sun. Taking drastic measures, which take three episodes, the just Kamehameha away from th sun
They fight, Krillin is nearly killed, and Goku goes half super Saiyan. Vegeta decides to end it, when his accomplice, Raditz is killed. He uses super galick gun and Goku uses Super kamehameha. Goku wins the beam struggle, and Vegeta escapes before a stranger gets to kill him.

They meet Yamacha and Chiaotzu, and Piccolo arrives. Goku barley beats him, and they found all the dragon balls. They use them to wish back the forest.

Goku is found by grandpa gohan, is trained, hits head b,ah blah.
ok, goku finds gohan dead cries blah blah, 4 years later(goku is 11) meets bulma then finds out about 4 atar dragonball, ask goku to come along(bulma being greedy) meet yamcha, warns goku bulma about pilafs plan to destroy earth, they help roshi,roshi comes along, goku trained by roshi, yamcha comes back, helps, pilaf's henchwoman mai fights goku with help from robots, realizing theyve been beaten, goku gives up, but looks at moon, goes great ape, almost kills mai, but only beats her robots.

I think the picks are awsome, all the actors and the 3 wrestlers you picked really do match up to the characters visually. Goldburg is the popular and logical pick for napa, hhh was a unique pck that I really cant argue.
In regards to the actuall movie the only person I think they did a good job casting was bulma.

Now, Vegeta starts to fight, but Babidi gets to him and controls him. Vegeta expels him and uses his new power to fight Buu. He loses too, then goes S.S.2. This increses power more, and he fights buu still. Once he is defeated again, Yamacha, Tien, and Chiaotzu hold Buu off. Then, Piccolo, Gohan, and Vegeta reenter the fight. Then, the spirit bomb is finished, and Goku uses it. This takes two episodes. The next ep, Vegeta Sacrifices himself to destroy Buu, by grabbing him.

So, the fight starts when Goku begins gathering energy, and starts just using energy attacks. Then, K.B. uses some combination attack from dragonballzbt3. The combination takes Goku out of the fight. Ultimate Gohan attacks Buu when he isn't looking. This attack leads to Piccolo paralyzing Buu. Then, Buu breaks free, kicks Piccolo's butt, and Goku gets mad. He goes S.S.3, or in my version a regular S.S. This gives him incredible power, but still loses. Then, he starts to create a Spirit Bomb!!!!!

Two years later, Majin Buu is created, but is created good, unlike in the anime. Goku arrives, and finds an the evil buu fighting Majin buu. Evil buu absorbs M.B. and becomes super buu. They fight, and Super Buu wins. Gohan comes fights, and gets absorbed to. Defeating those two, Vegeta comes, and happens to bring the Potar earing and is wearing one. Vegeta dosen't know that tho. So Goku takes one and puts it on, and they fuse. The twist here is, they beat Super Buu, and shake Majin Buu loose.

In the anime, People get absorbed by Buu and are incased in a cacun in his mind. So Buu went there, then got loose, and Super Buu spits out all the people he absorbed, which was actually a lot, and became Kid Buu. So far it has been thirty five episodes. Kid Buu goes on a rampage, destroying everything. Then,the Z-fighters and Buu are teleported to Supreme Kai's planet. There, everyone is completely away from everyone else. Three episodes later, they all come together and start the ultimatefight

Then, Gohan jumps in and fights, and easily destroys the androids and starts kicking Cell's butt. Then, Cell actually blows on the spot but a shield blocked the explosion. Cell comes back kills Goku and Gohan gets pissed and transforms to Super saiyan 2. The true fight begins. Gohan's arm is completlely blasted off, he does Kamehameha against the Solar Kamehameha and Cell gets distracted and Android 18 grabs him like Goku grabbed Raditz, and the Kamehameha's blasted the two to oblivion.Seson end

Absobs krillin and yajirobe, Goku goes super saiyan three, or, s.s. 2 in my version, when he gets back, but still loses

then, Krillin gets killed, nearly, everyone thinks he's dead but he's not. Goku gets all mad and goes super Saiyan, but in my version, super saiyan 2 is a regular super saiyan. Then, Frieza gets the crap beat out of him, and Frieza uses to much power, which back fires, and blasts him in half. He only uses full power for maybe five minutes or less. Goku blasts him, but the explosion destroys the planet and kills Goku. He can't be wished back, cuz he told everyone not to then trains with King Kai

Three days later, Goku arrives, as strong as Freiza's second transformation, and still getting stronger in the antigrav chamber. Vegeta arrives and fights Frieza, and starts to win. Then he transform, and beats the crap out of Vegeta. Goku arrives after rejuvinating in the machine, an begins to fight. Frieza goes half power trasformation, and the fight heats up. Then friza shots planet, etc

On the way, they encounter another Saiyan and must beat him, this part of the story is supossed to be like when Turles came to Earth, and Krillin and Gohan must beat him on their own. Defeating him rather easily, they countinue for Namek. They get ever closer, when their ship hits an asteroid and is sent for the sun. Taking drastic measures, which take three episodes, the just Kamehameha away from th sun

Freiza commands Kinjg Vegeta to kill Bardock. He kills Bardock, Prince Vegeta is taken by Freiza, and Kakarot is sen to Earth. He is found by Piccolo, and trained. When he is eleven, Piccolo realizes his power and tries to kill him. They fight, Kakarot wins, renames himself Goku, finds Bulma, and they leave on an adventure. They meet Yamacha and Chiaotzu, and Piccolo arrives. Goku barley beats him, and they found all the dragon balls. They use them to wish back the forest.

My story for Dragonball 1.
It starts as bardock being born, his father is exucuted by kin vegeta, a man takes bardock under his wing and trains him. He then is assigned a job to extinct planet namek but on his way is inform by frieza he is going to kill planet vegeta so bardock team is killed and bardock gets furios and throws final spirit canon at frieza but the deatball over powers it and blows up vegeta. Goku is found by grandpa gohan, is trained, hits head b,ah blah.

ok, goku finds gohan dead cries blah blah, 4 years later(goku is 11) meets bulma then finds out about 4 atar dragonball, ask goku to come along(bulma being greedy) meet yamcha, warns goku bulma about pilafs plan to destroy earth, they help roshi,roshi comes along, goku trained by roshi, yamcha comes back, helps, pilaf's henchwoman mai fights goku with help from robots, realizing theyve been beaten, goku gives up, but looks at moon, goes great ape, almost kills mai, but only beats her robots.
