  • its a great idea for the indian cities, but i'm really afraid if the train falls or the bridge, do you why becoz of the corrupt people top to bottom they gonna use the cheat meterials which is fine in india, its gonna kill innocents...

  • Won't work in India. Too many people will fall out since they don't close the doors lol.

  • Brilliant solution! This will ease up all the traffic in our country and transport people more efficiently!

Skybus is the way to go!

  • national geographic channel k torrents chiye jo hindi dubbing main ho aur mujhey discovry k torrent bi chiye jo hindi dubbeding main ho mujhe koi essi site bata dain jaha sey sab program k links mell jaye aur search wagera kar k har program nekal sakkain hindi main

  • its a great technology.... i think we should concentrate on these type of transport (in every citi and town in INDIA) rather than producing more and more cars.........it is ecofriendly as well as fast.. but yes lack of electricity is a huge barrier..

  • Now it is improved to to be powered primarily by gravity, saving nearly 80% of currently used electrical energy in metros for the same delivery of through puts!

  • is this monorial ever gonna come up

coz metro and monorail its alredy getting built up.... i don think neone working on this project

  • But if someone know his name tell me Cuz I love this voice

  • National Geo used some talent of Mumbai I guess!

  • Can anybody please tell me who dub nat geo hindi

  • Well yes- sent proposals through email and post. But not personally.

  • Try asking Modiji up in Gujarat, try this is Surat. I think you will have luck in Surat

  • Thanks a lot. I wont mind if any business man wants to avail this opportunity ; will help in providing all the technology and deliver the certified product. Currently I live in USA.

  • Have you approached CM narendra modi?

  • we welcome your indigenous effort and hardwork we are proud of you

    thanks

  • rajaram sir, iam very pleased with this sky bus type , It not only solves the problem of traffic it will look awesome also in the middle of skyscrapers and modern places plus its doesnt take much space and specially in this competative world , india shoudln't be lagging behind.. this would be an achievement .. right now iam in the UK well , where is this prototype running .. the one which is shown in the clip.. i have seen a clip of hydrebad skybus ...iam very confused

  • Its pretty unfortunate that we still consider "foreign" to be good, when we can produce best of technology inhouse.. Btw I have been tracking Sky bus since I was kid.. But long time havent heard of it. What is the present status of the project?

  • Honest engineers lost to lobbies who can influence the governments! So Skybus waits for youth of the country to raise our nation from the rut we seniors managed to place her over 6o years of political independence leading to mental slavery and bankruptcy.

  • You can see English version with National Geo Megacities Programme, covering Mumbai City. At Goa a working prototype on commercial scale was constructed over 1.6 km stretch and tested. It is perhaps the world's first test track with a running Skybus. You can see an English version at this Youtube site- look for coverage on Hyderabad city.

  • I can't understand the language spoken on the video so maybe someone could tell me. Is this sky bus being built in Goa? I thought I saw a partially build structure there when I was there last year..

  • nice sollution for the cities which are crouded.

  • excellent bro!! why dont u post some more of national geographic and history channel contents in hindi?

  • So why hasn't this been adopted yet?

  • Ha ha ... TUV Germany is prepared to certify for safety too! Well, so much for our quality of governance and lack of willingness to improve our lives by insisting on their right to protect to public funds, by informed citizens!

  • I am not a civil engg and will not pretend to be one...my doubt is why is it that not even one state govt has tried to incorporate this technology either partially or completely...

Is it becoz their "CUT" is not going to materialize, is it safety concerns, is it cost concerns...what is the reason they gave u?

The reason I am asking is becoz metro is being planned/built in Bangalore/Chennai/Mumbai/Delhi/Hyderabad .. so surely somebody cld have tried it out.

  • President Abdul Kalam, Commisioner for Railway Safety as well as renowned engineers and scientists of the caliber of Dr abdul Kalam Dr Murthy Bobdada FASCE all affirmed the validity and TUV Germany a safety certifying agency did feasibility check and affirmed. The results of oscillation trials independently checked by Bhaba Atomic Research Center and Research Designs and Standards Organisation are published which show

  • Skybus produces better results than Metro rail as per international safety norms.

But still if four times expensive systems are sought to be imported by rulers it is the duty of common public whose money is being stolen, to ask questions--- not to sleep happily.

  • Thanks to our corrupt babus, they are going for more expensive subway technology leading to a more expensive ticket for common man. The babus could have easily taken up this indigenous technology.

  • can this work in south mumbai where the roads are much more congested?

  • Yes- actually this is designed to address such problem only not to disturb existing structures. But one needs at least a 6m wide gap between the structures on either side, even though road can be narrower. Single route skybus can run and return path will be on a parallel naroow road. In this case there are no pillars on the road, but a frame structure is used to suppoert the concrete box carrying the tracks.

  • as it is said we have only in Goa for a start ., has the government started this project or will it take ages ??? and iam aware that mumbai metro is on its way plus banglalore metro and many places plss let me know

  • It would be more space-saving if cars could drive on the surface of the bridge.

  • Cars give the least efficient use of space. In 20m length Skybus can carry 400 persons at 100 kmph while with 4 cars in the same length carry hardly 20 persons and only at speed of 20 kmph!( If you pack 4 cras in 20m they cannot move fast!)

  • This is pure genius. How the hell did nobody else come up with it?! Amazing. Should be used *everywhere*.

  • wow, that train right there could help india a lot and many other countries. and the first one built is in india yay!!!!!!, and also it is non-polluting

  • i thought the same man but i looked it up in wiki germany all ready has one

  • lovly transportation system !!!!!

  • A undergound metro would be better.

  • Takes more than 5 to 7 years to construct, costs 4 to 5 times more and less safe lacking positive restraint for the bogie to escape tracks and disaster management & security concerns are maximum in underground metro!!!It is the worst choice! You pay more and get a white elephant with serious safety concerns too!

  • yup, subways take a lot more time, Delhi and other cities do have underground metros but it costs a lot to maintain them

  • they are building underground metro in mumbai the work has started and it is going to be finished in 2010

  • awesome .. i cant wait for them to build this in bombay
