The lyrics to this song are wrong everywhere on the net. The second line of the first verse is apparently "Shoulders, legs, knees, and back." on the internet. I reckon it's "Shoulders, legs, knees, and MOUTH" Listen carefully!
Now, I respect even people who listen to Nickelback, but I think everyone can agree that Radiohead is simply better quality music. Who ever calls anything "fucking exquisite" in the comments to a Nickelback song?
I always get flamed by In Rainbows lovers for saying The Bends is the best. Don't get me wrong IR was phenomenal, played it on loop for 3 weeks after it came out. But seeing as how I've been a RH fan since 96, and these twerps have been listening from 08...well then.
Listen to this song, then listen to R.E.M.'s Crush with Eyeliner. Coincidence? Not really. The two bands (along with Sonic Youth) toured together a lot in '94, and REM had just released "Monster" at the start of the tour. It's easy to hear a lot of inspiration from "Monster" when you listen to Radiohead's "The Bends" released the following year.
I never got how Radiohead got a name for having depressing music. Everything they touched turned golden. 'The Bends' should be hanging in the Louvre under armed guard; it's the masterpiece of our generation. And if that album didn't exist, then 'OK Computer' would be in it's place. It was a great time to be a music fan.
Means 'the first among equals', and because there are lots of ways available or inflicted that make you stop feeling life in your bones; that anguish was once mine too. So I love that song, for words and for the music that makes you feel it. PS: Bones better now.

@jibblychupos Considering The Bends came out 4+ years before Showbiz, I'd suggest that you have your alleged plagiarism in reverse. Fortunately, the tracks don't sound that much alike.
@stubkar I was about to say, Overdue wasn't even written until 1998, let alone released. Both Muse and Radiohead are fantastic bands, though now I've grown older, Radiohead tops my list by a long shot!
@jibblychupos Ahh, well if you weren't so fucking dumb you'd know that Radiohead came a shit-long time before Muse. Here's the difference between the two bands: Radiohead-amazing. @jakeelee904 Bless your heart. Glad you found the Radiohead, though. To answer your question, it's "Kid A" or "Amnesiac" for me, "Pyramid Song" and "How to Disappear Completely" are probably two of my all-time favorite songs. But other Radiohead purists might come out of the woodshed "seeing red" with my statement.
@jakeelee904 follow radiohead's evolution over time. listen to all albums. the bends is about rebellion from creep. ok computer gets farther away from pop. kid a/amnesiac total rebellion. hail to the thief political statement. in rainbows is personal and pure radiohead
@jakeelee904 I would say Kid A and OK Computer are the best albums to start with. For songs, check out Talk Show Host, Idioteque, Subterranean Homesick Alien, Street Spirit, Creep, Optimistic and There There just to get a great sample.
@jakeelee904 I'd say the Bends is the most accessible for a newcomer since it's all guitar rock, but my personal favorite is OK Computer. Kid A is amazing too if you're up for some weirdness and don't mind some electronic mixed in. In Rainbows was their latest release and it sounds really modern, so you might like that since they were so experienced when they made it. Amnesiac and Hail to the Thief are also great, although they might not be the best for a newcomer since they're pretty different.
@jakeelee904 radiohead is uckin amazing ill tell yah that. OK Computer is amazing. and by your username i know for sure youre a ozzy fan that goes for bark at the moon and/or ultimate sin, which is one of my fav ozzy albums. radio head dont sound like ozzy at all, however like ozzy they got some stuff that sounds like shit, however OK Computer and this album, the bends
@LicoriceLain Because we think they're good? Personally, I think Hail to the Theif is beautiful, and Kid A isn't THAT good, but just widen your mind a bit.
@OnlyVideoGuyOnEarth I personally find Kid A to be the best, with Hail to the Thief and Amnesiac tied for second. As for broadening minds, it is. And I have no issue with people not liking any of those albums. I just get the feeling that the fanboys of early Radiohead never gave the later albums a real chance, ya know? I gave The Bends a fair chance and there is a few songs from it I genuinely like. :]

If you like reviews of video games, music CD's,comedy albums, electronics,Sega Genesis,PS3,PS2,Play Station,Game Cube,Game Boy,SNES. Then check out my channel. This is a kick ass song from a great group. Radiohead for life!
I was just looking out for some feedback on a song I just made called "KEEP ON", I just uploaded it on my channel and I would really like for some people out here to check it out and tell me what they think. It would be really helpful. :)
The verses act like some kind of early warning siren. The chorus unexpectedly really rocks as if being deliberately reminiscent of 3 chord 1970s rock. The Bends, my favourite Radiohead album overall, was celebrated at the time and is just as achingly fresh now. OK Computer generally subdues feelings in to abstraction or resigned hopelessness, The Bends is a reminder about the rawness of why those feelings exist. Bones is an outstanding song on an outstanding album.

The riff that starts at 1:03 in this song is a ripoff of the riff in Muse's Sober.
Go listen to the 0:41 mark of Muse's Sober to hear where the original idea came from. This again proves that Muse are the true innovators.

@MarubethSheckler Seriously, are spammers this lazy that spam bots can't check if what they're spamming is even relevant to the video

hello everyone,
I was just looking out for some feedback on a song I just made called "KEEP ON", I just uploaded it on my channel and I would really like for some people out here to check it out and tell me what they think. It would be really helpful. :)
Thanks in advance!
