That's what big turbos do on small engines. A big V8 will make 700 hp without turbo, nitrous or supercharger. A small V8 will, with just two turbos, forged pistons, and forged rods, make upwards of 1000whp and 900ft-lb. On pump gas. Instead of reading a book, try doing it instead.

This is why most over the road inline 6 twin turbo diesels have a very low rpm limit, it is the most common big rig engine. All the torque production is made down low. This goes for any gas type engine lower rpm's will produce torque and lower HP, higher rpm's will decrease torque production and increase HP production.
@20stands You obviously haven't seen the dyno charts from big HP, big single turbo supras then. Here's a tip...They make less than 150ft-lb until over 5000rpm. Then it suddenly triples. Diesels have a lower RPM limit because they are effing compression ignition diesels! Please, go learn something from your books before spouting off. There's only....2 significant japanese imports with I-6s, and neither one makes jack squat for torque.

That's what big turbos do on small engines. A big V8 will make 700 hp without turbo, nitrous or supercharger. A small V8 will, with just two turbos, forged pistons, and forged rods, make upwards of 1000whp and 900ft-lb. On pump gas. Instead of reading a book, try doing it instead.

@Milehighsnake98 There is no engine that has a torque curve that starts at 6,000rpm. All engines have a torque that start very low. It's just physics of a rotating assembly. This is why most over the road inline 6 twin turbo diesels have a very low rpm limit, it is the most common big rig engine. All the torque production is made down low. This goes for any gas type engine lower rpm's will produce torque and lower HP, higher rpm's will decrease torque production and increase HP production.

@20stands You obviously haven't seen the dyno charts from big HP, big single turbo supras then. Here's a tip...They make less than 150ft-lb until over 5000rpm. Then it suddenly triples. Diesels have a lower RPM limit because they are effing compression ignition diesels! Please, go learn something from your books before spouting off. There's only....2 significant japanese imports with I-6s, and neither one makes jack squat for torque.
