I like COB but I have to adimt Alexi is not the guitar god ppl think, actually he is not that good, on youtube there is a guy covering Everytime I Die with the same guitar and sounds so much clear than Alexi and then go watch Kissing The Shadows live video and he fucked up the whole song, I prefer the studio version of their music, anyway he deserves some credit because he writtes all the songs.

@xD3MONxIxSOULx I wholeheartedly DISagree with you. I think that he is absolutely the guitar god people believe he is- just not live, lol. When he's 'into it' (recording, mostly) his playing has a raw, emotional intensity that few players have- not to mention SQUEAKY cleanliness. I like how he individuates each note as opposed to just letting them all slurr together like most. And, as you've said, he writes all of it- which is incredibly cool in and of itself.

@todnwen sorry to burst your bubble dude, but Clapton isnt nearly as good as other guitarists from those decades. Secondly, Alexi plays completely differently to Clapton. Thirdly, Randy Rhoads has the title of 80's guitar god. And finally, Alexi could out play you in what ever genre you threw at him, in his sleep.

He should make more solos like this, I heard a few from the Blooddrunk album and they sounded like he improvised something quick once and threw it in the song just like that. The riffs were cool though, only they're spending way too much time on the first frets due to the drop tuning.... I used to play on drop and my improvisation eventually went dull but that's not the point: His newer solos lack the feel of his earlier ones... I haven't heard RRF though.
