@rhoggard76 Nice catch on the turntable have a ton of Technics stuff myself still going strong the days when they made audio equip to play great music!
I was watching a goofy syfy movie about magnetic poles being affected on planet earth and thought about the Band Rare Earth , which I haven't heard in ages. And it was great listening to Get Ready Part 1, brings back excellent memories, thanks
@pakleglia Once again you are correct. The music of the 70's was ACTUALLY music. Each group had a different sound. The Who, The Eagles, Boston, Blue Oyster Cult, Steve Miller Band etc. That garbage of today however is a different story. Noise! And, no they dont write them like that anymore. And they wonder why kids are the way the are today lol.
@pakleglia Correct pakleglia. I too have the 45 and from the first beat you can hear the audience in the back ground. The slow intro was not on the 45. Great song that brings back some fantastic memories!
This version is from the "Back Pack" two record set. Where is part two? Nice quality for this version, thanks! Also, Rare Earth is the only white band that recorded on Motown, but they created the Rare Earth label for them, as I recall.
its realy great moment for me im from middle east and i have heard about this song from my mom but she could never remember the name of the band believe me man its years of searching thank u alot pls give us the second part

In the 70s we had a progressive rock station in NC that played the long version. Can't thank them enough.
