an Indian i never think so.i have travelled across India.different states...i heard difrfnt types of Hindi..varieties slang...In Kerala most of them knew to becse..learning Hindi is compulsory in Kerla in schools from 5th standard to the 10th.....its compulsory..my friends in Kerala knew to write and read Hindi... there is problem in pronouncing...but.its tolerable.i learned malayalam... but it is hard ...because it contains more letters than hindi wher as in tamilnadu people hate hindi
